Star Wars™: Galactic Defense

This was such a great game I played it throughout the day and truly enjoyed it I am trying to get into the new system but it is far too difficult to advance All that was truly needed in the update was to finally add Kashyyyk and fix the crashing some players were experiencing One of the most disturbing things about the update was the blatant attempt to get people to spend money to advance in the game and get champions I for one will spend no money Developers I truly hope you read these comments I hope you fix this mess you made Thanks        Disappointed

Four months since the last horrible update in early May and the developers still cant fix the crashing issues It still crashes about 2 or 3 waves into even the simplest levels I have no idea how the new apparently convoluted gameplay is since it refuses to actually work even though it says it is compatible with my device Completely unbelievable performance for a major name franchise This is not the Star Wars game you are looking for Move along     Still crashes

I enjoy this game when it doesnt kick me out The crashes are more frequent right now and the updates dont seem like they are fixing the problem     Love and hate

When I first got this game a few years ago it was this awesome simple game I was able to play for a few months before it started crashing before entering a mission To this day I still have this problem I need it to be fixed because I dont think starting over is an option with the amount of progress I had before it started crashing I have nothing better to do besides chat until it gets fixed This game was my only form of entertainment        Crashes

Love the game but I hate how in order to unlock more characters it feels like you HAVE to spend money           Fun but lacking

This game was a lot of fun for the first year It had some solid fun and you were able to unlock most heros and stages by just playing 1015 a day The new update is a awful money grab with a horrid new badge system which requires you to either pay large sums to unlock random badges or run stage 1 over and over to try and collect hero badges They should roll the game back and just unlock the final planet and add episode 7 content Appgame deleted     200 Ruined a fun game

For all fans and new comers Had an awesome game at first when you werent trying to pull every penny in the US Game is ruined thanks to the greedy novice developers at Dena     Complete disregard

Only way to keep up is to spend money Also game likes to ignore touches making it impossible to pass stages Edit Update is horrible The thing I hate the most is the removal of in game items like the galactic bombardment Now you have to run out of lives and use a continue thing that you have to spend real money to get more Epic fail Uninstall     Unbalanced and buggy

I used to love this game and the new version is absolutely terrible They took out all the fun and have not turned it into something that is aimed at getting your money The levels are no fun Short waves and tower preplacement make it all about the champions Theres really no point to your towers anymore since they are so weak The champions are also now impossible to upgrade or require a lot of real money Ive given this new version a fair chance and played it for a few weeks Very disappointed and will be deleting this game Its sad considering how much I used to enjoy the game     Terrible

Im about 13 through the levels and its used over 1g of storage space The game was good before but as all the other reviews have said credits are worthless     Storage hog

Takes forever to get second hero                 Should be better

This was an awesome game but the new update ruined it more than anything else While I like the perks concept and the fact that I can choose a champion kinda the amount of effort you have to go through to get enough tokens to get a specific champion is ridiculous and then you have to continue to earn those tokens through hours of mindless grinding to make them more powerful Also the fact there is no consistent way to earn gems except to pay for them is awful You need the gems to buy the fuel cells that allow you to even play the game This game has been ruined     Update is awful

I dont really have issues with most of the new feature My issue is that I cannot finish a level without the game crashing        Crashes Constantly

The game started off really great but somehow the developers got too greedy and too nuts Preset towers and very limited cash to buy defenses takes away strategy and fun from the game And the rules on perks and badges got way too over complicated and blatantly obvious that you need to coin to get anywhere in this game I understand the need to earn money but you still need to retain the players interest and still keep the game enjoyable I would have given it 5 stars previously but 1 star now Will be deleting this game sadly Unless they wake up and change it back     Was great until the big update

Spend good amount of money on this game before the update The new version is over complicated and completely turned me off Wont be spending more money on it     If its not broke dont fix it

I liked it better before the update I logged in today first time in a few weeks to see if it has been improved still havent changed and have no reason to play it I would rather just go back to the old game Worst upgrade ever     Better before

Fix it or I will be deleting it     I cant even play

The game was massively dumbed down Ive tried to continue playing for weeks but everything has been nerfed from heroes to towers And to add insult they now pre place towers that you have no control overat all Im deleting this app after enjoying it for many months prior to the update I suggest you save your time     Very disappointing massive update

You changed the core strategy Although its still in the TD genre its the now the lame type of tower defense that I wont play Id like to know the reason why you did this Was it a bad joke on the fans Was it because a new employee went on a power trip and no one could stop them from ruining the game Was it because you just dont know what the heck youre doing and dont really understand strategy games     Why I deleted it after update

So Ive been giving this new update a chance hoping that it would grow on me It has not Note to the creators of this game take a hint from all of these negative reviews and go back to how this game used to be I was totally content with those weekly tournaments this game used to have Fist of all this new updates levels are not fun anymore even the past levels Theyre short and I am limited to what I can do in them Theres towers that are automatically put on which is the most frustrating You cannot use any power ups like before The only thing you can use is a continue token which can only be used if your base is completely lost So by the end of it I either have to get 1010 or 010 to get a perfect score Like before where one can use cards to power up your base or destroy all enemies I couldnt beat a level now if I ended up with 110 because not enough enemies went through On top of this one cant use training tokens and scrap credits like before I always thought it was fun customizing MY OWN base and powering up towers in the really hard levels So apparently all the work I put in leveling up curtain champions in the past was a complete waste of time Champions that I never even used are now stronger and leveled up higher than champions I used to beat the game Not only that but champion relics were a waist too I waisted my time AND money I also had perfect scores in past levels and apparently that was a waste of time too since the format on everything has changed Aside from everything costing more galactic credits and gems there is still a lot more things that I hate about this game now I am one to always welcome change but this update is just lame Again the creators of this game should just go back to the original version I dont care if all my current progress in this version gets deleted This game went from my favorite app and playing all the time to most likely going to delete The best thing you guys could have done was open up Kashyyyk and create new tournaments not this apparently I am not the only one who feels this way     Used to be my favorite app

This is a good Tower Defense game centered around Star Wars The leveling system is expansive and takes a lot of time but the upgrades you get along the way bridge the gap very well Id definitely recommend              Fun Level Buliding

Wow Its a typical GD game And I have to say Its pretty fun A bit more flashy than toy defense You got your heroes and more upgrades it appears And I have spent no real world money and have gone pretty far I would how ever change the balance I cant get any new turrets up before the game ends Would be nice if missions lasted longer              I dont know why everyone is complaining Its pretty good

I want to review this game but I cant because after opening the game it crashes within 60 seconds Real dissappointing     Nothing to Say

Nice game The star wars feel and the fun of playing both sides is great for a Star Wars fan The problem that makes the game only okay is how it is set up to force you to spend money Getting heroes the main focus of the game costs several thousand gems Either you spend the money or play for hours upon hours upon years hoping you get the random badges you need for the hero you want Fun at the start but soon just a game you say played it and now delete Not worth the investment of time to play they way it is currently set up           Okay

Never seen an update so drastic to the structure of an enjoyable fun yet still challenging game Nothing about the changes that were made are intuitive or necessary What was the point To get folks to spend more money Ha Nice try Never have spent a dime on any game such as this and Im certainly not about to start just because the game gets revised Shame on the creatorsdevelopers of this update you did a terrible job I still dont know what a perk is and Ive watched all of your tutorials and helpful guides etc and how it is supposed to help me Why are the levels so short If you cant even beat a level on novice whats the freaking point Shame shame shame Dont spend any money on this gamedont feed the machine Please put it back the way it waswhen it was fun     Used to be a fun gameit is now awful

I like some of the changes made with the 20 update However leveling up your champions will be a major PITA Its one thing if you were guaranteed getting a champion badge by completing a level But on those levels its only a chance You might play the level 10 times before you get 1 badge and then have to collect 30 badges just to unlock the champion Its more badges to level them up Who wants to play that level 300 times hoping youll collect enough badges to unlock the champion Really dumb The changes have also steered heavily towards getting you to spend real money Until they patch some things or overhaul it a bit Ill likely just log on to do the store items that are free and stop playing     Update needs work

Gameplay makes no sense anymore Inventory items are useless and meaningless to game play Not sure why they felt compelled to add this complex system to compliment the champion level up system There is too much going on with leveling up your champions thats it no longer fun or interesting to play Their special event games were fun and challenging and trying to get characters I liked made want to play more Not sure if they are bringing those special events back U cannot see the full character anymore in their descriptions I hated not knowing which player I was gonna get and they made that more so in this version     Just dont want to play anymore

Was a big fan of this game but it is far from the same fun after updating to this version It seems the game only wants money now I already spent a good 50 to play in support of the developers but I cant go further with spending more 50 is a lot for an iPad game I guess those 60 Xbox titles are a bargain now If I hadnt already put the money into this game I would have deleted the app     New version bad

Listen you guys Just fix the special move like the orbital lazers and the instant recharge on the heroes All that needs to go back the way it was and I promise people will play again I know I would Put that system back the way it was for the sake of the force We like choosing when to use our specials bruh                 Come on you guys I miss this game so

Yall pretty much ruined this game Great that we can get more characters but its unlikely that we can do so in any timely manner Youve also made a lot of levels impossible by screwing with the round types and timers It was fun while it lasted but deletion seems to be all that will matter at this point     Bummer

Before the update it was my favorite game to kill time With the new update it seems like they made the wrong decision at every turn Prepopulated towers Really Thanks I didnt like testing different configurations or anything Done with this game which is a shame since the old version was so good     WorstUpdateEver

Just fire whoever was responsible for this idiotic update and get the game back to the old version please The game is now ridiculously complicated and not fun at all Ive paid money for this game Id like to just play it the way it was when it was fun     Lamest update of all time

The new update just ruined any potential this game had I initially liked the focus on the champions but they are so hard to level up After just an hour I am already stuck being forced to farm endlessly for trash items to perk up my Heroes Drop rates are terribly low energy recharge time is terrible This game went from a fun distraction to a feeling of endless grinding I was going to spend some money to help level quicker but quickly realized how worthless it would have been I wouldnt have gotten any new Heroes instead just a few hero cards Not even enough to unlock a single one     Who thought this was a good idea

I really liked the game when it first came out spent money weekly to upgrade during tournaments but this latest update completely killed the game for me No idea what I am even supposed to do in game any more they added so much useless garbage that it is nearly impossible to navigate all the extra option screens in order to just start a simple event The devs killed this game which really stinks it was a fun little game to play Hope they roll back to the simple and fun original version before it is too late     Update killed a fun game

Its repetitive Anything Star Wars themed is pretty rad tho But this game requires too much to accumulate champions           Eh

This game use to be one of my favorites but the new update they added really decreased the gameplay First of all some of the characters that I worked on to be the strongest are now bottom of the barrel while others that I did nothing with are superior In addition now there are only 5 waves total on any level and the level of difficulty seems to be the same from easy to extreme Furthermore each planet had a fun graphic for each that made it like a road map from one end to the other that has been replaced by just blue or red octagons Lastly the game has become way more expensive to play You now instead have to get 30 tokens to get a new character which only costs money and have to continue to add coins 30 per level on top of that to level them up My son also still is asking where is Captain Rex        Terrible Update
