StoreItPro Business Forms

This app is what I needed I was able to convert my main work spreadsheet to the iPhone Giving me the freedom to work from any location without the need of wifi I wasted 5 when I got bento hoping I will be able to do this                 Fantastic out of the box

Its a good data base Im having problems loading over about 2900 out of a 3200 database It can be very slow but the search function is very nice           Good but not great

Has no audio recording field Has image field but unbelievably you can t take a picture and put in it You have to go outside this app use another program to take the pictures go back to StoreIt and choose picture from iPhone photos Also you can access from MacBook but only for Import and Backup cannot see data on the iPhone There are other database apps with more useful features then this one     Skip this

Looked like a great program Used it for about 10 minutes than crashed Cant restart now Sent an email and asked for help but no response So sad Lost 5     Crashed and wont run

I dont know why they call it Business Forms as the nonPro version is called a database This is a very good database package that allows loading of tables over HTTP using wifi which is a must for us and allows lookups across tables another must for us We load a dozen or more tables over HTTP from Quickbase reports and use the link fields heavily The developer is very responsive easily accessible and happy to hear feedback ideas and constructive criticism Worth it at twice the price              Great DB App

This app would be hands down five stars if it came with better support and some simple features like taking pictures from camera instead of having to get them from your camera roll Also the calculation field has A LOT to be desired Multi step or Multi variable calculations are a pain and may even crash the app Hopefully it improves soon because it has the potential to be the most useful app ever           Almost my favorite database app

You can select a pic from your photo library but you cant take one from within the app You have to take the pic from the camera app and then go back into this app and select that pic What a pain        Can

Please make app multitasking capable which would make it 5 stars              iPhone 4

I purchased this app about 8 months ago started working with it and got sidetracked on several other things then picked it up again yesterday My first goal and reason for purchase was to create a portablecustom tool to track various businessrelated vehicle mileage and costs to simplify tax prep Prior to starting the implementation I did do some design work so I had a fairly good idea of the structure of what I wanted to accomplish I also went over the website documentation which while not perfect gives pretty good stepbysteps into how to make the bigger concepts happen The very good news in less than an hour I had the basics with links pick lists and calculations put together and working After seeing the first attempt live I did a couple modificationsadditions and they went in with no problems Crashing Didnt happen when I was working with the program originally and hasnt happened since WiFi data export seems to work like a charm and imports easily into Excel Since this was a new data didnt try the import function but based upon experience so far would expect that to work if and when the time comes Also has a very useful option for creating different views using the same underlying data and while I havent set it up yet appears to have a good security mechanism for protecting data at the app andor category levels Another thought on the documentation issue while the written stuff might be a little on the light side there is a fairly decent array of premade Templates that provide good examples of how certain features work if you dig into them They also seem to answer specific questions posted on their forum area pretty quickly For 499 my opinion is this is a very good tool if you know something about database design and even if not the templates seem to be a good option for right away stuff and can be customized as you go Buy it                 Overall a very solid and useful app

UPDATE Its great to finally see an update although not sure what it fixed I still believe this app is too pricey but lets all hope for more consistent updates Thnx I must concur with the other reviews this app has become a disappointment It had such great potential but the developer is either completely overwhelmed or has run out of steam no longer cares StoreItPros design is minimal which is fine but it is so NOT userfriendly to the point of being confusing Youll be pulling your hair out There are so many little bugs and bits of clunkiness that can easily be fixed with an update However look how long weve been waiting since the last updatethis is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE for a 5 dollar iPhone app Also this app crashes a lot getting worse more unstable each time its used Data is often not saved even when the app doesnt crash And dont get me started on StoreItPros support I think others have said it best but the support is about as userfriendly as this overpriced app First of all there is NO inapp supporthelp inexcusable for a 5 app The support site is pretty Godawfulits a hodgepodge of other free apps and vague faqs Worse the support website is NOT properly formatted for iPhone Safari use I hate when app developers dont consider this In fairness there is a support forum at the website registration required and thats understandable And the developer seems prompt and genuinely helpful with replies Perhaps that should bring me back to the frustration stated earlier This app has so much promise and I do beleive that with a gentle motivational kick in the rear the developer can turn this app around exceed expectations and bump its rating back up I for one look forward to this day and will gladly update my review and rating once StoreItPro improves        Sadly at this point nobody should pay for this clunky app

Ive had this app for almost a year now and STILL no landscape support Cmon developer I love the app just simplify a few things and support landscape and Ill give 5 stars        Soo close to a 5 star app

The documentation is said to be the FAQ but this is jumbled at best This could be a great app but terrible to use        Documentation poor

LOVE THIS APP Easy to figure out Use it to store all my game counts Im a little bummed that it takes alot of work to import But so far no real issues                 Id be lost without it
