So excited I downloaded the app a couple weeks ago and it didnt play It must have gotten fixed because now it plays perfect and I can listen to the best stories told by real people I love this program so much Im always amazed and inspired by the tales                 It works now

Really impressed by this app They make it so easy for anyone to be a thoughtful interviewer Sit down with someone you love and record their stories Youll always be grateful you did                 So powerful and yet so easy

What a great tool to record life experiences to add to basically an archive of humanity                 What an excellent way to preserve history

There is no option to upload to Facebook or copy share with family only I do not want to publish personal interviews Please add more options for sharing interview        Option to copy share

I was excited to use this app but it is not working There is no volume when I play interviews And half the time when I tap something it does not respond I hope it gets fixed soon     Wont play not responding to taps

Cant get the app to work on phone or iPad Hopefully they will fix this soon     Stories wont play

Fix it please     Not working

The audio does not work and I cannot hear anything I am very sad about that     No sound

Few suggestions from an user friendly point of view to make it even better When the recording is played on the respective users page and then back button is hit it goes back to the initial feed which is annoying because of which I would need to scroll all the way to the bottom Secondly try and include categories which users can tag their interview to so that users can filter                 Really cool

I love the concept of this and had a lot of fun recording a few interviews with my kids but once I shared the interviews they were gone I have no idea how to retrieve the interviews or search for them     My interviews are gone

Wonderful concept however I cant rate this app on content because it crashes each I open it        Slow to boot up then crashes

Its a great idea and Im sure it will get better over time The app needs to check for duplicate uploads Just check the label length etc and let them know they already uploaded successfully When the device goes into power save the sound shuts off This is not true for other apps that are primarily sounddelivery apps Pandora and TuneIn dont turn off the display or sound but you can manually turn off the display and the sound continues Thats the ideal Seemed like it automatically plays the next interview shouldnt do that Just stop at the end of the one being played When setting up an account initially you get a screen to input info that immediately scrolls to the bottom you have to scroll back up to fill in Iphone 5 Allow sort and filter by Most Likes Date and user name Add time stamp to upload But its a good start           Its in Beta right

Finally figured out how to extract an MP3 Upload to website then download MP3 I tried other things but none worked              Finally got MP3

I cant tell you how impressive this app is Even as a public beta it is brilliant Works perfect A few tweaks as others have suggested and we are talking perfection This app can change the world                 Like nothing else

Cant get past login screen Crashes every time Even tried reinstalling     Crashes upon opening

Great ideaa way to record and share personal histories I hope they reconsider the terms of use to allow individuals to maintain ownership and some control of their stories        A wonderful way to share history

This is a great idea but you need to test more and get rid of the bugs Many times just closes abruptly I keep trying to accept the Terms cant get it to continue This is simple functionality testing        Great idea needs more QA

This app is a truly wonderful way to create and capture meaningful conversations with people whose stories interest you Many aspects of the user interface are easy to use and well thought through However it seems like it was developed offline and then coded Or built piecemeal As such its a bit clunky in some places I cant see my own stories stats searching for people to follow is in two places I cant work out how to search by the story tags I can create an excerpt but not find it to play it Theyre little things that wont stop me from using it to create stories but will stop me using it to find others stories Looking forward to the next update so I can up it to 5 stars              Brilliant and clunky

I was looking forward to using this app until I read the TCs Why should I grant a license to a company to prepare derivative works of edit and otherwise exploit your User Content No thanks deleting the app from my devices     Scary Terms Conditions

I really love this idea its just too bad the app wont even load anybodys interview for me I sincerely hope this app will be worked on because it can turn into something beautiful     Cool Idea

Before you try to upload make sure you do SOMETHING I lost both interviews I did with my parents and I cant find any tech support to help me recover them Where are they stored on my phone HELP     Lost interviews

I liked the app it was a cool way to record and have it set it in that way But the thing that never worked for me was that it never let me publish my interview It was about 20 minutes long and it never published I left it on all night long and when I woke up the next day it still said it was publishing So I never got to share it or send the link for it to people Which really sucked lol           Confused

nothing is loading for me Id really like to participate and watch but I cant     oh

It worked fine the first time I opened it But now it crashes every time I open it        Worked once

I think this app is really cool I think it lets you listen to that humanity that other people dont get to hear because it is inside One thing that I think would be really good for the developer is to make the app not the device to sleep while it was playing a story For instance on the NPR app when youre listening to something your phone does not suspend                 Wonderful People Stories

No sound checked everything to make sure it was not my phones problem Tried to contact customer service Whats the pint of this app if nobody can hear anything     Great idea poor execution

Meaningful conversations can touch people on such a visceral level it just might change some lives I cannot wait to see the hands this app lands in                 Utterly Inspiring

I like the questions how easy it is to put them together and record However forwarding is not the best I would like to see the ability to share an interview and search for ppl topics etc           Very nice but needs improvement

It USED to work but now the stories DO NOT play which is the main reason I downloaded the app     Stories Do Not Play

Great potential if only the audio would work Even tried the uninstallreinstall tactic but still no audio Freezes too Pleas fix soon        No audio

sowhere are the new stories        update

I LOVE whats going on here The interviews are really interesting and enthrall omg to listen to but when my phone locks or when I switch apps the audio stops I would love to be able to lock my screen and put this in my purse to listen to or to save my battery while it plays locked Really distracts me when my phone locks and the audio stops It takes me out of the moment Please fix and this app is on its way to the top        Stops on Lock screen

Its a great ideabut I only got the app to sort ofwork once It was running slow and then froze Froze my whole phone after a second Finally my phone started working again Closed the app that was still not working Restarted and now it wont even go to the signin page Ill give it more stars when it works     Great idea

This app was very buggy and slow It was difficult to use and said my email and user name was already taken even though i had never used the app before This app sucked Dont download it     Buggy

Maybe it will be more impressive after future updates but I hate that you cant search interview topics making you have to scroll through every post available to look for something interesting Also if you click an interview while scrolling and try to go back to the list it reloads the entire page and makes you scroll again Annoying to say the least Not impressed yet with this app     Eh

Bottle rocket should take better care of the support on this app        Facebook integration is very outdated

This is a great app Thanks HONY for showing this to me                 I love the idea of this app and what it does

I love storycorps and the app is great for those of us who dont have access to the recording booths but there isnt anyway for me to pull the sound file for my own use For me this is an essential otherwise I should just write out my own questions and use my phones voice note abilities That way I would have a sound file to work with save for my familys use and distribute to extended family or friends Also I would like the option to publish for the purposes of the library of congress record I suppose radio if they listen to these but not post it to some weird jumbly FacebookInstagramlike feed I think it is neat to be part of a record for historians or others with purpose to search but dont like the idea of random strangers browsing my memories To me they are special personal and shouldnt be posted in a way that invites judgement or misuse Also it glitches on startup quite a bit           Needs way to pull interview as a sound file

I have been wanting to preserve the oral histories of my parents lives for many years I am so glad they came out with this tool and now we have the opportunity to share our family histories with our children                 So Glad This Tool Was Created

I was looking forward to using this app to capture a great story but every time I try to use it        Great idea but it keeps crashing

What if the interview could be conducted via telephone and audio recorded in storycorp as if it was face to face           Future thought
