Strip - Password Manager

Love this app and have been using it for years but unless they add TouchID soon Ill switch to something else           Need TouchID

I reviewed quite a few password storage vault programs and this one is best cuz it allows unlimited number of custom fields Great BFolders replacement The support team and developers react in a VERY timely manner and are very in touch with user needs Great support                 Best password manager

If you spend some time researching online you may reach the conclusion that this is the most secure password manager on the App Store Other password manager apps may not be secure if someone gains access to your device I switched from the most popular competition due to persistence of major bugs in iOS8 Strip is not as polished as some competitors but seems pretty solid The app opens quickly without animation which I count as a plus The sync is manual and does not occur in background This could be a drawback if you frequently switch between desktop and iOS I use iOS 90 so has not been inconvenient for me The category system is a bit annoying to me as I primarily use global search But other competitors suffer with similar issues I just made a category all and dumped all my entries there in case I need to do a manual scan if search fails It does not currently support Touch ID While I appreciate Touch ID for quick access to phone calls and contacts I would not use for a password app where you may have your most sensitive data This would allow anyone with access to your finger while you are unconscious to gain control Control of your brain is harder to access              Most Secure Password Manager

Ive been using STRIP for about 2 years and love it With all the hacking going on nowadays its imperative to have different usernamespasswords for all your accounts STRIP is easy to use and I enjoy the Dropbox integration all it needs is Touch ID and itll be perfect                 My favorite Password Management App

It sets my iPhone 6 plus into a cycle requesting Touch ID over and over again at least 3 times upon login You have about half a second to touch something before it asks again Was able to turn it off after a series of logins but after waiting a long time for Touch ID to be implemented its disappointing that it doesnt work        TouchID doesnt work

This app used to be the best of the password managers but could now do with a bit of a refresh use of Touch ID to access the app perhaps at least as an option and ability to use the Today Center to find and copy passwords              Was great but needs updating

I have used a number of different Apps like this by far this is the Best One Not only does the App do its job wonderfully simple UI robust security syncs between all my iDevices desktop computer but it might have the Best Customer Support of any App Ive ever used In the rare instance I have a question or comment Zetetic the makers of STRIP respond within hours You could not ask for a better App or Team to work with Update 11 Jun 15 After all the regular updates since my 1st review I am happy to report this is still IMHO the best security App for your important info I trust it with all and I do mean ALL my information Thanks again Zetetic                 The Best of the Best

I want to have a secure spot to keep all my passwords and have those available on every device I dont need to have my password keeper worm into my os and type stuff for me I just want somewhere to go look when Ive forgotten I also dont want my password keeper vendor to see me as a significant revenue source every few months I used this product way back on the palm and went to a more popular one on iOS for a while I came back when I was tired of feeling like my data was being held hostage Despite the awkward name I am totally happy with STRIP It brings sanity to my complicated world of hundreds of passwords                 Great basic password keeper

TouchID authentication failing You can do this Updated review I spoke too soon The update everyone was hoping for came through and the issues affecting the app have been remedied Thanks for the reassurance Zetetic Review History As others have said this app needs a refresh The most glaring issue for me is the keyboard is buggy when changing device orientation Otherwise at this point Im weary of using it in its old age Is it staying up to date security wise specially in these ominous times I dont know but without updates Im skeptical Ive been using this app for a good 4 years and I have no complaints Havent used the features to the fullest but for keeping my info in an accessible place and allowing me to back it up has been flawless Great application              I have faith in you

STRIP is the best of the password storage and management bunch in my humble opinion For anyone thats curious as how good STRIP is go look up Elcomsofts review of iOS password managers Trust me itll open your eyes                 Still the best

I didnt realize how many passwords a digital life requires When I got this program I thought there would be only a dozen or so I now have over 50 I also use it to store other sensitive info like the social security and passport numbers of my family I use it every other day Very satisfied                 Perfect for me

I was looking for an affordable alternative to 1password and then I found STRIP It was exactly what I was looking for I am able to securely sync my passwords from my iPhone app to the app on my computer through Google Drive I trust my information is safe because the guys that developed this app have been in the mobile security business for years The interface is great and I like how easy it is to have access to all my passwords anytime I need them                 Very Nice

Have this app on 2 desktops 2 laptops 1 ipad and 3 iPhonesall are working seamlessly and syncing correctly I had a few glitches to correct that the Zetetic techs helped me to fix Cant say enough about their responsiveness to assist and address questionsthey are just super I definitely recommend this app to anyone who has a lot of passwords and other sensitive information to store I have used earlier versions way back to PDA days so am a long term user and the newer versions add a lot of additional features                 Very useful and cool app

You should start out with STRIP Lite like I did 4 12 years ago new to the iPhone I bought 4 other password management apps before I heard about STRIP After just a few days working with STRIP Lite I bought the full app The experience with other apps was useful it helped me to know what was special about STRIP For me foremost is that you are not locked into templates to enter your information into create your own categories fields as you wish With big thumbs functionality in landscape mode was a must that is missing in many other apps After a year I purchased the STRIP for desktop software in order to have a backup at homethis was useful when I accidently deleted the iPhone app STRIP has increased the number and vibrancy of their iconsnow they are crisp bold and easy to see Recently when I needed help from STRIP for a Windows PC problem that was created by me they responded to my problem very promptly and made sure my issue had been resolved A utility app and organization that I very highy recommend                 A primary utility app for me

Ive been using this appprogram for a few years and absolutely love it I feel its one of the most secure password systems out there yet unknown enough where it will hopefully be less of a target to be attacked I have all my passwords synced across my phone 2 iPads and computer While Zetetic takes some time to implement new features touchID would be nice Im also not lazy enough where I cant enter my password to get to my info and isnt a deal breaker for me One of the biggest selling points for me was that I didnt need to pay a monthlyyearly subscription to keep my passwordsget program updates when they happen Keep up the amazing work guys              Lovely secure app

Love the app paid for the full version and added all my passwords account info all those things you shouldnt have in open text on your phone but probably do But I was seduced by the ability to use TouchID in a competing password manager and Ive found it so much easier to use Im considering paying for the other one and moving everything over Please tell me TouchID support is coming           No TouchID access is a letdown

UPDATE for v251 322 First off the app says v251 but they probably mean v351 Oh well I guess that will get fixed in v352 Anyway STRIP has FIXED TouchID If youve been following my reviews on this app you can see that the app has been making steady improvement that is until a broken TouchID implantation was introduced Now that the developers have fixed TouchID Im coming through on my promise to give this app FIVE STARS In summary its secure stable easy to use and has TouchID Done and done UPDATE for v350 316 STRIP has implemented TouchID For this reason alone I would have given the app 5 stars but upon opening the app you are prompted repeatedly as much as eight times before I tapped cancel for TouchID input Once in the app none of your entries appear Fortunately this is just a bug the data still exists if you enter the app via password I force quit the app and completed a hard reboot of the phone to no avail This kind of bug is serious in my mind to drop another star Highly disappointing as the app was one star away from 5 stars with proper TouchID implementation I would have kept my rating at 4 stars but the net effect of this update is too negative If TouchID is fixed I will easily give the app 5 stars UPDATE for v247 298 STRIP still does NOT implement TouchID In my mind this keeps the app at 4 stars Im not convinced that the developers have any good reason security or otherwise not to integrate TouchID functionality See below for original review UPDATE for v244 277 STRIP interface is now updated with proper iPhone 66 Plus resolutions However STRIP still does NOT implement TouchID In my mind this keeps the app at 4 stars Im not convinced that the developers have any good reason security or otherwise not to integrate TouchID functionality See below for original review Id give this app 5 stars for Security Ease of use But I only give it 4 stars because at this point it really should be using TouchID and have proper iPhone 66Plus resolutions including keyboard                 TouchID DOES NOT WORK

Ive been a long time user of Password Safe and Truecrypt on my PC Password manager generates complex passwords and I use Truecrypt to create a file container encrypted with AES and Twofish You obviously need a password manager for each unique and complex password but for iOS many are horrible at truly protecting that i formationsome stored in plain text After reading an article on various apps and then subsequent articles on Strip after that it was clear I could rely on the encryption it uses to keep that data safe Love the program and dropbox sync which also has that encrypted file container so I can access it wherever needed in the event of hardware failure                 Incredible

Its a good app however its missing a big thing here which other security apps havesimply NOT supporting Touch ID whyyy Once this integrated will pump up the rate to 5           Its a good appbut why not supporting Touch ID

Run Strip minimize double click on home button to get list of active apps Select Strip lock screen shows minimize again Click on Strip app icon it comes up unlocked Cannot be locked again Big problem for an app that should be secure     New release is not safe
