I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS LET ALONE POOR ONES HOWEVER THIS CASE I CANT HELP MYSELF This could have been an excellent DAW solution for many needs at an amazing value however literally EVERY time it is updated or there is a significant iOS update the in app purchase of the sound library for the beat pad extension of the app one of my favorite and frankly only things truly keeping me coming back to this app keeps saying not purchased upon scrolling the sounds and I have no access to the sounds I paid for I ve tried re installing ive tried restoring purchases re purchasing only for it to say would you like again for free even though it is never returned This is the 4th time in 2 3 years this MAJOR roadblock has occurred in the same exact fashion and this time I give up STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCTIVITY KILLER and TIME WASTER not to mention MONEY WASTER especially when you consider how healthy the options are to go somewhere where developers don t seem to suffer from this There is no excuse other than poor coding or not caring     Constantly deprived of in app purchases made ou_la_blank

This is a very nice DAW It s powerful But without Audiobus it makes your other music apps useless If you purchased the expanded Audiobus you ll be even more unhappy XME has had several years to update Rather obvious that they have no intention to fix this MAJOR issue LOOK elsewhere     No Audiobus support MuleSkinnerBlue

Absolute garbage Worst app I ever bought I really wanted to like this app when I paid good money for it a couple years ago But it was unusable latency issues no documentation crashes almost no editing possible couldn t use it for anything Since then it hasn t improved at all Now it s free And I m telling you it s not worth your time Srsly Frealz     Garbage Not worth your time or money Superpod wow

I loved the app and used it a lot as recently as late last year I opened it up today to record some stuff and it s been crashing and freezing up my iPad every time I try to use it         Started crashing Fiend508

this could be a very useful app but the lack of decent instructions youtube videos with no talking no explanation of what s going on make it hard to learn it has a built in midi module that may give you problems as it did with me i tried to buy extra sound packs and they won t load and i m out the money support answered my email quickly enough but they don t seem to care enough to actually do anything about it i wouldn t suggest getting this app there are better ones         it has potential and issues gothdaddy

I m mainly using the standalone BeatPad app with this It s so robust and has a large amount of kits available With the multitrack export function from BeatPad to Pocket Studio everything comes together really nice Download the app you will be glad you did                     Love it kreator2013

This app is great iPhone5 But it crashes ALL the time When you export open in playback whatever you may happen to do It s random And I never opened more than four tracks The display of the wave patterns DIAPPEARS suddenly out of nowhere ALL the time So I get lost in my place on the track can t see the marker since it s disappeard also and the song begins playing with the track all out of order I like this app I m an independent artist with no resources at the time and struggle to pay for studio time But my talent and drive this app could really help Please fix the bugs         SSSSOOOO MUCH potential Ca$hMAC

The devs website shows youtube audio import as a feature but it was removed in a recent update Do not buy this app if You want it for importing audio from YouTube You are sensitive about devs removing features without warning NOTE I know WHY they did it but I don t like it     YouTube Import feature removed CoraxDux

I figured out how to make this app work in spite of there being no readily available documentation I m not sure there isn t some unacceptable latency Can t controlled the volume of the metronome so it s loud and you re stuck with that Just initial thoughts Haven t done any real recording with it yet             Works kwixson

Bought it for Audiobus but it doesn t seem to work Can t hear anything playing can t record anything No manual or help screens anywhere The most I ve been able to do is record myself through the iPad mic that s it     No Audiobus really fgenius

There is obviously a lot of potential here with this app with the addition of the beatpad plugin However in its current state the app shuts down every time you try to add another instrument using the plugin I am using an ipad 4 so I would think this would not be an issue So if you intend to use this product prior to an update that corrects the problematic shutdowns there is not much you will be able to accomplish XME please fix this I will repost another review afterward         Two stars for effort Ferebeechan

I was able to use beatpad sounds record a mp3 song and record vocals over the existing song it has 96 tracks and now with that latest update it s even better                     nice app dnw1987
