The Study Flash is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.2 has been released on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Great features overall but as I started making decks I discovered some bugs Some I can deal with or work around but there is one bug in which photos appear blurry rendering the app useless if you need picture flashcards Another turn off is the way decks are exported I contacted the developer about zipping deck content into a single archive and exporting decks to other apps using adding the Open in feature and the response I received was basically that my suggestion was unnecessary because everyone uses the cloud these days If you don t use photos then this app is fine Otherwise find another app         Was impressed now disappointed Ahikanana

This is the best index card deck app by a mile Very customizable make your own templates wonderful study flipthru modes everything feels right And now has iCloud sync makes it even better Has a couple bugs with card sets not appearing on main page and iCloud sync crashing the app but these end up being minor and not deal breakers Would love to see support for modern resolutions including the Plus iPhone                     Best index card app galtenberg

I am giving up on this app and deleting it from my phone and my iPad for the following reasons 1 I ve used this app for a few years and have loved the functionality The only downside was that you couldn t set the font size the app automatically sized the font to fit the card I didn t mind that so much but this issue is even more exaggerated and distracting with the new update The only way to keep the text from being huge is to add some extra spaces at the end of your text Manually doing this for all my cards is something I m not willing to take the time to do 2 When I ran the latest update I got two sets of each of my card decks one of which is an older version The only way to tell which is which is to open each one and then delete the older one Again with so many decks and cards this is just not something I m willing to take time to do 3 When I try to delete an older deck it hides another deck If I try deleting the one that is on top of the other it renames the one I can see while keeping the one under it hidden Very frustrating It was at this point that I decided it just wasn t worth the trouble I ll either find another app that will work better or just go back to paper cards Too bad     Not a fan of the latest update versemom

With the new update I have lost the pictures that were on the cards that I already had before the update         Lost the pics Ronnie Bell

I just spent an hour making flash cards with equations on the old version of the app on my iPad I went to send the cards to my iPhone but I needed to update my iPad version first After updating the iPad version it erased all the equations because I guess you got rid of that option thank you for wasting my time I don t understand why you tried to fix something that wasn t broken     DON T UPDATE IF YOU HAVE EQUATIONS SAVED Kyle_Gray

I bought this because It looked like I could hand write on the cards versus having to TYPE on the cards If you can add that I would recommend the app Otherwise it s just another index card app     Can t write on the cards Rhinomanj

This is an amazing app I it has everything I could want but I wish I could sync the flash cards between my iPad and iPhone because in order to get flash cards on both I have to either rewrite them or email them but other then that I love this app                     Great Leah900

Text size is not adjustable although several fonts are available Text entered on a card is always centered there seems to be no way to change that There is no option to create a template for repeated use You just have to create your own template then duplicate it a repeatedly Also there are no clear instructions you need to figure things out mostly by trial error Until these other options become available on the iPad this will be a limited use app         Limited options on the iPad slimyslug

There s not much to flash card apps Build a flash card select what you need to study and study This one has a good interface and can be quite helpful if it weren t for a specific bug Buttons at the bottom tend to disappear during studying and browsing causing disruptions to my studying I can t choose which cards to study by options then If this is fixed I d give it more stars             Needs bug fixes Tardar sawse

I love this app I ve used it for learning song lyrics for studying music terms and key signatures IPA symbols it s user friendly elegant and so useful I now have an iPhone in addition to my iPad and I can easily import all the decks I made to the iPhone so I can have it on the go as well Great update too thanks                     Great app teelgee

i absolutely LOVE this app 3 but it has a bug every time i shuffle my cards the icons at the bottom disappear and won t show up again unless i restart my ipad i can t tell you how frustrating this is i can no longer use the app i love PLEASE FIX IT                     needs a bug fix Che3che

Well I m having trouble using some of its features I ve never actually been able to access them all at the same time usually it ll remove the options to click such as ability to check cards or ability to add new cards to a deck maybe the problem is on my end but         It seems good but I have huge problems Count coolness

I love this app from language study to painting memorization My only suggestion is to add a feature that will randomly flip cards rather than all of them as well as a feature that will reset it so all the front and backsides are aligned again That would be great                 Great app Sakura

This app has made major upgrades since I started using it a couple years ago This has become the best flash card app on the App Store bar none However I hope this app is not forgotten Rory you ve got your hands on gold here don t let it rot We need to be able to import more than just the home deck If possible a Mac counterpart with syncing needs to be made And the app itself needs some polish The app needs to be compatible with iOS 6 the bottom bar keeps disappearing These are minor things except maybe the Mac version The hard work is already done Now it s just keeping it fresh                     Fantastic but could use update silofolous

Real user friendly Easy to use and flexible in terms of allowing you to either type in or use pictures to learn what you must Big flaw though is that it does t save which cards I marked off which means I can t review the ones I get wrong at a later time Also doesn t send backups to my email All in all I use this app pretty extensively                 Great but with its share of glitches Kesringj

I love this app I love how you can transfer cards to another phone and the shuffle option that doesn t actually shuffle the cards core positions in their respected deck I m studying Japanese and you can even add all Japanese characters I have just one request I want to be able to copy cards so I can have them in multiple decks Along with that an option to move multiple cards to a new deck at the same time would make this app perfect                     Best flash card app DC.mayz

Study Flash has eliminated so much paper and space waste for me as I learn another language I think this is a great app That said here are my critiques 1 sometimes I need to find a specific card and I just have to remember which card deck it s in or spend a lot of time searching through each deck until I find it It would be very helpful to be able to search all the cards in all the card decks from the Home screen It would be even more helpful once in a deck to be able to search not only the visible cards in the deck but also any cards that are nested in decks inside that parent deck 2 similar to the last idea it would be very helpful to be able to shuffle all the cards in all their respective decks from a parent deck Sometimes I want to study all the cards I ve created but unless I want to go through them all in exactly the same way I must manually go to the 2 dozen card decks to shuffle each set individually If there were a way to shuffle the cards when studying in a way more similar to the random option on an iTunes playlist that could make both my studying and this app even better All in all this is a sweet app with superb value for its cost I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a better easier way to study                     Fantastic tool Tundras21

Very useful app I find scrolling through the cards a little annoying that you have to flip the card before going to the next You should take advantage of vertical swiping horizontal swipe to go between cards and vertical to flip or vice versa an option to choose which is which would be nice too                 Very useful fatherbz

I finally found the best flash index card app This one for me works so much like my real life index cards for rote memorization It will resize text to fit the index card In landscape mode you can legibly read all of Ephesians 6 10 18 The interface is excellent one of the simplest and most elegant yet I love swiping index cards to flip them And creating new cards and decks is easy Shuffle cards Shuffle decks Shuffle Review cards within decks Have not yet tried the export feature but might need to                     Great for scripture memory pintos-n-cheese

Great app I use it for Latin vocab and it s much easier to use than having to to handwrite all those index cards I love that i can choose to study all the cards I have or just ones that I have trouble with It would be great if it came in the iPad version and it crashes sometimes but other than that I ll be using this a lot                 Recommend Anna Micu

After I installed the new update the back up did not save my purchase on the export import function Hopefully they fix this otherwise every time we run a back up the only thing backed up is the app which is free but not your purchases     iOS 5 problem Fustrated user > (
