Are you ready to Alpha Boost to a party in the sky high above Storybrook Village? Super Play as Super Why, Princess Presto, Wonder Red or Alpha Pig With over 100 party-themed words and four ...
You as an adult will not feel like this is worth the 199 you paid for it But remember it is for your 4yearold There is only one game collecting letters as you fly through the sky You can play as any of the four main characters There is a single mode of interaction tilting the device to steer left and right that might leave some children bored after a few minutes That also means that your child has to be holding the phoneiPad and moving it around which will probably make a lot of people nervous The replay value is limited since it very repetitivewhich is albeit good for learningand the only novelty with each play is that you are collecting letters for a different word On the plus side the graphics and sound quality are top notch And if your child is at just the right stage of physical coordination ability to pay attention and interest in reading then they will have fun with it For your kid not you
This is waste of time no sound and nothing that would keep my child interestedWouldnt give it a star but cant submit without Super why
To complicated for the little ones and Im afraid of them dropping the I pad shaking to compete the game Dont like Super why
My son loves this app but most of all loves super why in general its a great observation skills app for kids Awesome For 23 Yr olds
Was babysitting my 3 year old niece and ended up getting this It took her a while to hold my phone right but we had a lot of fun screaming out letters and guessing things Too bad she couldnt keep my phone Happy Uncle
Easy to play fun alphabet words appealing graphics AWESOME ALPHA FUN
This program is awful There is no letter or word learning aspect at all The child tilts the ipad rolls a character over some balloons and occasionally a letter which then goes off to the side When there is a random word created the word announces itself but its nothing that would encourage a child to read This is a throwback to the earliest days of apps in being completely simplistic poorly designed and not worth its price Extremely disappointing Complete waste
This is a very disappointing game My son had just been playing a wonderful Super Why game on pbskidsorg and this looked similar It is not even close All you do is tip the phone back and forth There is no interaction with the letters other than running into them as you fly In the time I have taken to write this he has already lost interest 2 stars for cuteness thats about all it has going for it Dont bother
Freaked me out in a good way when my almost 4 year old read beach Good sight words Good kinesthetic learning Brilliant
Huge super why fan however this app is less than sufficient No sound cannot seem to trouble shoot and requires only motor skills to operate Hopefully the sound being fixed will prove otherwise Please fix or issue a refund Please fix bugs
If the sound doesnt work try setting your phone to audio ring instead if vibrate Keeping the phone on silent blocks the app audio This game is really basic eyehand coordination and requires the child to figure out how to use the device leveling to catch the balloons letters True there is no way to lose and I didnt see any pointvalue incentives to capture balloons and letters but my kids love playing it regardless and it still exposes them to spelling and vocabulary in the process They ask to play the game and it holds their attention and thats all I need Game works as advertised
Could be paced a little bit faster Kids have short attention spans Alright slowpaced
After multiple reinstalls I have given up on this app It immediately crashes after start up They have not responded to my problem report This version of this app will rob you of 2 Immediately crashes
I cant imagine this game holding either of my preschoolers interest for more than one or two turns All you do is choose a character and then collect letters and balloons as the character flies up in the air for 30 seconds or so It doesnt matter if you miss any letters because they keep reappearing and it doesnt count how many balloons you gather So basically you figure out pretty quickly that no matter what you do or dont do in the game the same thing will happen Boring In the end the letters spell a word but they arent even words that are worth learning like sight words or even words that teach phonetics Top example karaoke Why would a preschooler want to have that word as their big discovery Thumbs down Graphically very attractive it does look like you are moving characters from the show but the content is just dull Incredibly boring very limited educational value
My son loves the original Super Why Game but this one not so much There is not a whole lot to do it gets boring pretty quickly and because he doesnt have to do anything to get the correct letters I dont feel it is very educational either It is pretty though Boring
I thought this was the same app that is used at preschool on the Ipads It is not It is not worth 2 I wish I had not bought this app my 3 year was bored in 3 minutes There is no phonetics The only participation for the player is tilting the phone If you are looking for something to teach your child to tilt your phone down and up then this is great Boooo Alpha Boooooo
Its simple enough that very young kids can figure it out They dont have to know the alphabet to play and they can learn letter names Audio is good quality Cute game for kids who are learning letters
Pretty limited game play repetitive kept my childs interest for 5 minutes then she back to other aps not normally disinterested in stuff so quickly Not as good as other super why
The 5 and 3 yr olds both love it So theyre also learning to take turns Good app
I thought this would be an educational app with word building activities It is but is not engaging at all It is very monotonous I bought it before there were any reviews You have a review now Do not buy Not worth it The free appSpelling with Cimo is much better Disappointed
