Ive been debating about buying this app for awhile and I finally did and it is absoultly amazing There is some information that I can use every day There is also information that Ill probly never use like how to build a shelter to protect your self from radiation fallout All in all this is a great app easy to use great information buy it NOW Ill be looking for more referance books in the future Double Dog Studios Buy it Get This App Now

This app is a steal at 99cents Tons of useful info categorized and illustrated for easy access The table of contents is easy to use and the search feature rocks I frequently browse this app and it is a great goto source of info for hikers backpackers and other wilderness junkies like myself Worth five times the price

I have no use for this app because I live in Chicago but for some reason I love to read it Its very well put together and helpful for people who can use it for real Great

I would love to see the following included 1 Guide to Knots diagrams of the most common knots used for survival 2 Morse code info I may have other suggestions later once I go through it more in depth but for now I think the knots are needed foremost would make this a definite 5 star app right now its 45 Good app suggestions

This is a great app But my main complaint is that this developer has so many versions of this app for sale on the App Store and it has confused me since one app says it is not related to the other but when purchased the content was the same I also purchased Survival Skills and that app is basically the same as this one I suspect the army survival for iPadiPhone is the same as well So be careful when purchasing from this developer since you may already have what you are buying Great app But how many of these are the same

This is a fantastic app It covers a lot of material on worldwide survival The pictures of the edible and medicinal plants are excellent I own the book that this book is based on but the app has tools calculators etc that one can use Suffice it to say that this app is on the very top of the list as far as survival apps are concerned Chuck H Fantastic App

Lots of information here While some is more applicable to combat situations than normal operations it is all good to know Techniques are more valid than what I see in some outdoors magazine publications Some of those seem poorly thought out and obviously were never field tested Hefpful

Ok info but reccomends poisonous plants to survive on Like stinging nettle Called nettle in app and juniper which usually does more harm than good Needs to have local plants or based on area map option Poison

This does seem to have some helpful tips for hunting camping I was searching for a good basic first aid app so Im going to delete this app because it doesnt fit the bill At the least it really needs to have heart attack adviceif someone suffers symptoms away from a city this app has no results for this common deadly condition sudden storm like a tornado or hurricanehow to protect yourself others etc I agree info from our own military should be free to US citizens Dont recommend for first aid
