Not just a free SF city guide but thousands of free travel recommendations for global destinations Fun just to browse around especially for the cool photos Ive bought two destination apps so far and am really happy with the indie travel advice they give So much better than just using Yelp or browsing the web                 Great app lotsa free paid content

I own several of the Sutro Media apps just purchased 2 from within the Sutro World app only to discover syncing to another iOs device isnt intuitive but I emailed support had an answer the next day They are working on simplifying it but for now make sure you have the Sutro World app on both devices Per the developer youll have to repurchase all of the guides that you have on your iPhone As long as your are signed in with the same iTunes account that you used to purchase the guides on the iPhone youll get a message that youve already purchased this guide and the download is free Were working on a way to autosync between devices but it is unfortunately incomplete at the moment So enjoy Ive used their apps in Costa Rica Chicago New York Boston and theres always some interesting insider information in addition to the gorgeous pictures                 Gorgeous Pictures and Helpful Content

Just looking at the photos is fun Planning trips for me is part of a trips enjoyment so this app is great                 Fun

My old paperback travel guides are gathering dust now that I discovered Sutro I truly love these city and country guides written by local experts with hundreds sometimes thousands of beautiful highres pictures The developers are always updating the app with cool new features I love being able to get directions or call with the click of a button and the Twitter tab is a great resource for finding lastminute deals at restaurants and hotels Ffearsome is incorrect about the downloads You absolutely can use these on all devices and redownload if needed I bought the Disneyland Essential Guide on my iPhone and it downloaded without any problems on my iPad                 Great guides

All that is free is a sample for SF Everything else costs 3 or 4 bucks I see no great mix of free and paid info     Misleading

Free Every guide is 3 Go elsewhere     Trap

Downloaded a couple of these Looked helpful Bought Boston Essential several weeks back Still will not load What gives Did it ever exist I could really use it Help        First 2 ok where is Boston

It will not open a single guide using the new OS     Crashes

Wont complete the download of the fre SF guide hangs when I switch menus hangs when I try to view the database and periodically just plain crashes     Hangs and crashes

Not worth a dime If you want info there are many other sources This one has no real free 3 to 4 for guides with little to offer Save your time and money     Misleading

With this upgrade paid content is FiNALLY downloading to my phone and its wonderful Shame it took so long but it was worth the wait Keep up the good work              New version no problems

Dont use this to buy travel guides You cant transfer your purchase across devices like you can if you buy the guide you want from the app store Also you cannot manage deleteredownload your purchases No response from developer either     Terrible

Wasted buying 4 guides and cant get downloaded My mistakes for not trying out one at a time Who did they pay to write good review     Junk

I know these Sutro apps and now theyve made it wicked convenient to browse all the offerings in one place and download the ones I want into one library The destination descriptions are even helping me decide between a trip to Boston New York or DC Really nice job                 Great collection of indie authorexperts
