You need to actually buy a physical transmitter from the company and plug it into the aux jack for it to work Why it says you can turn tvs on and off at bars and friends houses I dont knowat least they dont charge for the useless app Useless

I have the ired device and have the app licensed and fully activated but absolutely no devices respond at all Four different brands failed the auto search feature Apple TV doesnt work with it either And worst part is no support what so ever Simply no response to over 12 attempts for help 3 more attempts for a refund and still no response Im a highly experienced computer tech with over 12 years in everything computer technology Please dont waste your money Dont waste your time or money

I bought a random transmitter from eBay for a few bucks and plugged it in and it worked Worked with IR transmitter from eBay
