I love this app It has replaced my use of the Synology download redirector entirely because its easier to use and mobile Its a must have for any Synology NAS owner who uses BT                 Love it

Pros Can easily download and manage torrents Only app that properly starts the torrent downloading Pause and resume functionality for each or all torrents Cons No tabbed browsing functionality with Safari would be preferred Bug where the first bookmark gets duplicated every time you open Slide function has delete but you have to select each individual torrent then hit buttons in corners to pause resume Takes too much time Would like to see slide function accessing all options without hunting from each corner of the iPad Update I got SynoDS and it is SO much better Pick it up ASAP           Needs a little more tweaking but great app

This app is one of my favorites apps all categories It allows you to easily manage your Synology NAS FIlestation search Torrents and download RSS feeds from your iPad or iPhone from anywhere I can highly recommend this app                 One of my favorite apps

Everything in this app can be done in a browser window but often involves copypasting This is a very solid allinone downloading resource with enough automated settings to make it easier to use than the free Synology apps If you like free use the browser If you like easy to use get this app Regarding the 1 star I agree that setup is tricky for using remotely but it wasnt too bad if I was just on the same network as my NAS Maybe just know that you have to enable WebDAV 4 stars since it doesnt do anything you cant do for free in a browser window              Good app

Simply put if you own or manage a Synology Disk Station then downloading this app is a must I use this app on a daily basis to set and track my downloads on my Synology Media Server Ive downloaded and thoroughly tested all available apps and this one is the one I would highly recommend to anyone who has a Synology Disk Station and uses the download station I was excited though to see that Synology finally released their own download station app for free But after using it for a few days I immediately deleted it from my iPad and went back to this First of all its an iPhone app so you have to hit the x2 button for full screen I dont get why they would make an iPhone only app Secondly the app only works in portrait which drives me crazy because I never hold my iPad in portrait I have a ClamCase my iPad snaps into it and it opens and closes just like a laptop so holding my iPad in portrait with my keyboard sticking out to the side is pretty awkward Most apps these days do this little thing called auto rotate so Im not sure why anyone makes apps that are either portrait or landscape only and not both And lastly the app just didnt work so well I wont get too specific but lets just say it lacked many nice features that SynoLoad offers So even though that one is free and this ones not I still recommend paying the 599 and buying the SynoLoad app over Synologys free app any day Semper Fi Sgt Miller USMC Retired                 Best app for Synology downloads

I like the part where it says it can download from file sharing sites but errors out or just hangs on fileserve filesonic and filejungle what a rip off want my money back     garbage

It took some work setting up but now that its done i love it Features mgmt of download tasks URL downloads torrent search and download usenetnzb downloads rss download feeds torrent search is a bit complicated to set up Searchers definitions need to be manually copied from some obscure webpage and added one by one I still have to figure out the Rss feeds              Love it Keeps getting better

I have used the iPhone version of this app for a few years and it is a great tool Does everything you need in a simple user interface Therefore it was disappointing to pay the extra money for the correct aspect version to use on the iPad Im not sure what extra features I was expecting but there are none This is simply a modified version of The iPhone app to ensure the correct aspect on the iPad and not have to use the 2X button which distorts the majority of apps The additional cost is a feature that the majority of companies distribute for free Should be an upgrade feature for current iPhone app users instead of forking out the extra wonga for nought     Waste of money

Very hard to set up I you do not understand port forwarding or have networking experience Developer replied one time an then did not respond to additional emails for help FAQ on website was very unhelpful     Difficult to set up

Since I am running Mac OSX Lion I was unable to run the Synology Redirector which made adding Torrents to my Synology DS411J a real hassle This application allows me to browse the web locate the torrent download and send it directly to the Download Manager I would use this application even if Synology updates the redirector to be a universal application                 Brilliant

I forgot to enable download on my Synology Server An email to the Jerome and a couple hours later it was fixed It works like a charm and does exactly what it should Highly recommended if you need a download functionality and have a Synology product                 Awesome
