This app is pretty great it s much easier to use and it s fairly cheap It s only purpose is to create tabs it s simplistic The in app purchase is almost entirely cosmetic but that copy and paste feature is really useful I was able to make my tab pretty well and export it but was saddened about the following missing features There wasn t a time signature option It would be great if I was able to write down if it was in 6 4 or 4 4 etc There wasn t any options to add any rests so it was hard to write down a beat There wasn t an option to say how long a note should be played for Some way to organize tabs would also be much appreciated if I can make folders and name them it would be great Developers I highly suggest looking at Ultimate Guitar Tab s pro tabs They do a great job on how to display the tabs and if you implemented the features that I listed above I d consider this a 5 star app             Just bought the app great so far missing some features little.hugo

I ve been trying all the apps paid and free that will allow me to create simple guitar tab quickly and easily So far this is my favorite app because it s not cluttered with all the tools that I don t need that are present in the other apps Don t get me wrong this app is not perfect I can think of a bunch of things I would change and add but it s definitely headed in the right direction One thing that is desperately needed is the ability to save to iCloud so I can see my tab on all my iOS devices                 Good app focused on making guitar tab quickly Rambo8649

I think that this app boiled my phone I have no idea what happened but when I was trying to open this app my phone s screen turned black and it was as hot as a fireball     Nope triplekarma

Not a massive amount of functionality but good enough for what I want to use it for which is jotting down some quick and dirty tabs while I have my guitar in one hand and my ipad in the other I like being able to define my own chord or note sequences and being able to insert them quickly I haven t figured out how to delete unwanted saved tabs though and can t find instructions online Paid for itself first time out just for the convenience because I used to do all this on a piece of scrap paper                 Pretty good DeadMessenger

I m When you need to write down the guitar notes of a song you re working on and don t want to worry about logging in to an online site and don t want all the bells and whistles of most tab creation apps this is the way to go All it does is tab creation and that s all I needed My only complaint is the dark background And I wish you could make the tab bigger It s really hard to see and read the tab you re making I have to quit playing and get right up to it to see it EVEN with glasses on                     Best App for Creating Your Own Guitar Tabs Tolstoy

Overall this is an amazing app The ability to tab out things on the fly is crucial to any guitarist 1 Please add in a play tab interface system where you are able to hear the tab you have made 2 add a home page where you can easily select create new tab or edit old tab or use a current one Now the only bug I have experienced is the crashing here and there If there could be a bug fix patch as well that would be sweet             What I want to see from this tdg fan 3641

The Good 1 tabs can be created and edited with this program 2 Limited export options are available 3 it is not nor should it be costly The Bad 1 Tab entry is very cumbersome 2 There is no playback mode 3 As aforementioned export is limited PDF can be scanned into Finale but exporting to GPX or other tab editor format would be more helpful 3 Forget about note dynamics and effects ghost dead grace staccato vibrato and most others ad nauseum cannot be entered In all fairness they do have a P B H and a They are located on a spinning wheel which also includes a Blank and X in addition to the numbers from 0 to 22 Place six of these spinning wheels together and dial away Let s hope that you can enter a tab in a reasonable amount of time I found it a nightmare 4 There are separate screens for note tabs and chord tabs Navigation between the two seemed galumphing 5 There is quite a bit more to this program s hollowness but let me end this critique by summarizing what you have already gathered if you read the above In my humble opinion this program s function as a tab building and editor is rather limited and if it were being sold for free it would still be a bit overpriced 6 Just one more caveat note duration is not addressed     Not Very Usefull Dr_AVL

I like that I can finally create tabs on mobile device but this app missing a few things that would make it much better Here are several Should use a monospaced font like courier so exported tab alignment isn t distorted Should be able to add repeats 1 4 1 2 3 4 Full bend symbols long slides tremolo etc Change number of strings for bass guitar Export options Tabtoolkit GuitarPro would be very useful When adding lyrics would be better if they insert at your cursor position instead of left Just a few of my initial observations Could be a great tool and I m looking forward to future updates             Good start but very limited Mactwigs

I am happy with this app It does so little that I can actually write tabs down Roll a dex style selection allows you to plunk in the fret number It s slow going but very effective You can also write in custom chords You can keep a chord library say you are playing in open D tuning but you want to play a chord if you know how the chord is played in open D just write it in You ll have that chord at your disposal As I said very useable Thanks Dev Someone got it right                 Very useable Dead cylinder

I like the combination lock style solution to notating the tab and i think it would be much more intuitive if the lock s placement matched the tab notation strings In other words rotate it counterclockwise 90 degrees Another great addition would be a selection tool that allows for copy paste functionality so that sections can easily be repeated Also something like a bar tool that allows for separation of measures Maybe upon selecting the tool the user can just tap their finger where they want the measure divider to appear A beat marker tool same idea as the bar tool to give some semblance of rhythmic structure or better yet stems and possibly rest notes Oh I see amazing possibilities that could make my iPad my new tab building device Onward ho             This app is good but has great potential Wuddup.

Ok if you want to write tabs with anything except a paper and pen it s gonna be difficult But I think this app isn t bad at doing so Pro You can create tabs quickly and efficiently It exports straight to email iBooks and to my Google Drive so my band members can see it comment on it and keep the band flow going The non saving thing went away as far as I know Con It s default settings are confusing But if you are a critical thinker you can change these settings so you can work faster It doesn t look as nice as it could But it gets the job done Overall This app is great if need a quick tab writer after you ve changed the settings to suit your style It s a little cluttered but the fact that it exports is a really great thing Not as good as paper but I will certainly use this in the future                 Corster83 G_sus__Saves
