It is crucial to know your takeoff roll on those isolated short mountain runways, but those hot high density altitude days on your home runway could also extend your rollout beyond your airplane s performance ...
Comparing graph calculations to this software the software is not even close     Do not spend your money
Junk     MAA
This app is a great idea but its got some obvious errors so its hard to trust for such an important calculation as takeoff distance The calculation for pressure altitude is way off At inputs of 6000ft and 2992 inhg it said pressure altitude was 24 ft Obviously it should be 6000ft Density altitude seems slightly off also The runway slope correction is wrong at 3 grade as it only adjust the takeoff distance by 1 instead of 15 Other than these obvious errors the biggest issue is that the actual takeoff distances calculated seem to be almost 25 more optimistic than a standard Koch chart They did correct an obvious crosswind calculation error with this update but not the stuff above Bottom line this app was a good idea poorly executed especially for a safety critical calculation I wont be using it     Wouldnt buy again
This app is fantastic Be sure to enter the temperature in Celsius I first entered the temp in Fahrenheit and got erroneous density altitudetake of distance Safe flying                 Pilot
No bugs easy to use I havent found another comparable app that will tell me ground roll given all the variables Worth every penny                 Essential for safe smart pilots
Do not waste your money Poor instructions Will not retain data entries     Piece of
I use this all the time for preflight planning with my Baron The developer has been refining this since initial release and it continues to be a wonderful tool in my EFB Good job                 Very useful app
This app has a big flaw in it Dont waste your money It doesnt matter what wind direction you put into it It will consider it a tail wind regardless and increase the take off distance I wrote to them and over a week later have not received a response If your going to write an app for something as important as take off distance at least test it for obvious errors and be prompt in correcting them when someone points them out to you Just by putting a disclaimer that its the pilots responsibility to check all calculations doesnt relieve you from any obligations from putting out a flawed app     Dont buy
