The process of setting up the tank utility sensor is straightforward The sensor appears well built also The app for reading the tank level is so so First of all the user experience is quite amateurish as far as apps go The forms are quite small and hard to read They don t work consistently For example during setup the address was requested and entered but didn t appear to save and had to be saved again This kind of thing happens a few places Also I m asked to enter my supplier in a text entry I could type anything Mickey Mouse Make Propane Great Again wouldn t matter it then shows that whatever entered along with a calculated amount of needed propane on an order form with a Submit button that does nothing Ummmm ok how should this work I d expect it would locate suppliers based on the entered address and then allow me as a user to see and select one Would be great to even see the current rates offered I see no such thing Is that an artifact of where I live If so the app should better handle that use case If what you want is a remote way of reading a tank level this app is just great If you want alerts when it s low well I hope that works Don t know yet But some of the other features should have been withheld until implemented as more mature features otherwise feels more like a prototype or demo for the future A few things I d like to see in addition to local propane providers along with their prices A few suggestions for features and improvement 1 Try to use geolocation to locate me vs making me enter a single line address If I must type an address have it be separate address fields not one big text box 2 Add a map view to confirm my tank location on a map That way I know that you really know where the tank is It s good feedback 3 include weather info for the entered location 4 publish an API so we can use our tank data ourselves 5 use icon badges to show the tank percentage so that users can know without opening the app Allow me to turn this on and off via settings 6 allow multiple earning percentages 7 If you manage to integrate Gas prices allow alerts for price changes Help me maximize empty tank volume and pricing by telling me good times to buy or your tank is at x and prices are trending up consider buying y gallons now from z provider 8 include a help area in your app to explain what things do 9 or make your app so that no help area is necessary 8 use chart axis labels and data that regular people understand Allow users to select date time formats             Sensor is great mobile app could use some polish IrelandTraveler

The device is solid it s been installed for about 18months now With no issues My gripe is with the app it s difficult to read the current level and see the detail on the graph It also shows volume changes when there s no use fill We have a 1000 gallon tank so 1 is 10 gallons             Review OhanaCreek

I ve been using this for about a year now at a vacation home which has a large propane fired backup generator heat as well as some propane appliances It is very handy to know how my tank level is holding up during a prolonged power outage as long as my internet provider is still up and running I withheld one star because the 2015 version of this system doesn t appear to have a battery level indicator So I have to either wait until the battery dies or replace it in the late fall to be sure it won t run out during the winter You do need to have decent Wi Fi signal near the tank and it makes sense to have the tank monitor mounted a few feet off the ground for better reception if you have an underground tank I m planning to buy the newest version of the monitor today                 Works great AncientGeek

I ve been using this product for 12 months now and I have to say this is one rock solid product no questions asked I live on the mid coast of Maine Downeast and can attest to this unit being subjected to many sub freezing days rain sleet snow ice you get the picture Most recently a tropical storm that wiped power out for 5 days The unit and app didn t skip a beat Once the standby generator restored power and our internet re connected I was monitoring the fuel usage while on generator power remotely One less thing to worry about when you re told trees are down everywhere Good news is no injuries and no damage So I just used the Order option for the first time Waiting to see how that goes as I am down 150 gallons unexpectedly Stuff like this always messes up our auto delivery Since I ve never used this option until now I expect my gas company will be getting in touch with me to confirm the delivery More later on that experience All in all this product has given me ZERO issues I d give it 6 six stars easily Bob Downeast                     Rock Solid bobnjoyce

Took me less than 15 min to setup I have called support twice and have never waited more than a couple on minutes I m a pleased thus far as it has met and exceeded my expectations                     Easy setup FxnBonz

Ordered in early Sep and told shipment would be delayed till end of Sep Just received my unit on Oct09 No updates given unless I asked Received unit today and unit Setup AP says connected but Utility Ap shows no details of my tank gauge     Suspect Company RightysNeedLove

Purchased product less then a year ago stopped working 2 months ago There is NO contact information for this company You fill out a contact us email form I have filled it out over 30 times in the last 2 months with no replies Looked up companies profile and called their office goes to voicemail I have left over 10 voicemails My product is still under warranty with no way to contact the company My propane company was asking me about the monitor as their drivers had told the owners I advised them to avoid this company at all costs     No Support for product G!e!o!

V2 is a great product and a must have for a true smart home that relies on propane Our provider does not seem to have the delivery schedule locked in correctly so the email alert has saved my bacon and reduced my worry Running out of propane like I did before is a real hassle they have to test the whole system Install and setup was a treat Way to go tank utility                     A real lifesaver Gmonda
