I had no idea that simplicity could be so functional I expected this to be a tryonceanddelete task app and Im stunned really TaskCat is now on the dock of both iPhone and iPad I use it many times a day It is incredibly easy to add tasks with notes and photos as well as switching tasks to another list What makes TaskCat stand apart from other task apps is the ease of use I dont have to go through several steps to get a task completely recorded so its been VERY handy throughout my day to add and cross off stuff I need to remember or tasks to do With one gesture a task can appear in a Today list yet remain in the original list I can flag the most important tasks I can cross off tasks and they dont go away but with one shake they go to the bottom of the list AND the lists can be emailed I also appreciate that when I take a photo it does NOT save to my Camera Roll The pictures I take inapp are related to the task and I dont want to save them Previous task apps Ive used saved automatically so I had to go thru and delete them One thing sadly missing is alarms but I have gotten around that by setting an alarm on the iPhone Clock instead                 Surprise Its Great

I live and die by to do lists at work and wanted one for my personal life Ive paid for dozens that disappointed til now Easy intuitive and fun So glad I found this                 This app is AWESOME

I love it Would you add to the paid version the wallpaper with the cat with a shopping bag Thanks and hope to use this app for a long time                 Cute and practical

It is a really great app I like the recycle feature and the today feature A couple of things I would suggest are 1 Online access web browser to the list so that I can change things from my computer at work 2 Be able to share lists with other Taskcat users 3 Be able to batch recycle list items For example I have certain items that I always get from Costco that I put on a separate list but will drag onto Today when I do my shopping day At the end of my trip my items are crossed out and if I delete them using the trash icon they get deleted from the Costco list If I hit recycle they get uncrossed but remain in the Today list What I want to do is delete then from today but keep them in Costco list for future use                 Great standalone App

TaskCat Pro takes the already excellent TaskCat app and adds 6 or 7 bonus features which extend the apps usefulness Examples include iCloud syncing among different devices ability to priority code items within an individual master list ability to embellish your entries with photos if you wish nice touch more wallpaper options upgraded password protection functionality and a slightly tighterfaster interface I should finish by saying that these bonus features are nice but arent absolutely necessary for everyone This is actually a compliment to the TaskCat developers ie they havent made the original TaskCat obsolete just to make more money This app is one of my very favorite task managers And Ive tried dozens of them I really like the rarely seen sidescrolling Master Lists items to Today List form of task management It mirrors how I used to and continue to sometimes organize my work load on paper I bought this second version just so I can have two TaskCat apps on my homepage I love this apps format that much Also buying the plus version supports the developers which I certainly wish to do The Original Review 2013 This app offers the rarely seen but highly effective sidescrolling approach to managing task lists It also encourages the transposition of masterlist items onto the todaylist approach of task management that is second to none IMO as far as speed and efficiency are concerned UPDATE from 2013 to my original TaskCat review Im very pleased It looks like my request for the ability to customsequence the master lists colorswallpapers was implemented Yea I prefer to reverse the default spectrum of colors from violet to red to red to violet putting more urgent red orange yellow items closer to the TodayAction List since these colors are accessed more frequently in daily use Thanks goes out to the developers who continue to improve the app with slight tweaks every so often                 The 6 Star TaskCat app with bonus features

Ok Im impressed I thought maybe the reviews were too good to be true but figured its worth a try since its free Its FANTASTIC Easy to use but also has tons of intuitive features and I love the background themes The shake feature is brilliant I happily paid the support amount even though its a free app                 Great

I used to make all of my To Do lists on scraps of paper This app has really helped me eliminate my stack of post it notes method I find myself less overwhelmed by all of the things I have to do and more organized Great app that I just stumbled on because I like cats                 Great To Do List
