Telenav Track

I loaded this app at the request of my IT manager It took just a small amount of time to completely obliterate my batterys charge Removed the app and my battery life is back to normal Oh well didnt really want big brother watching me anyway     Battery Killer

The company I work for has a fleet of over 50 users with smart phones using Telenav Track We use telenav to track our workers and verify their paper timesheets We arent doing anything fancy like adding geo fences or timesheet logins or speed monitoring Its all very basic And even performing the simple task of monitoring has become problematic with this app The phones will just stop transmitting the signal to the website If the user restarts the phone the app still refuses to ping the system You can either uninstall and reinstall the app or you can stop services in the phone settings restart the program and then enter login credentials Either way this kick starts it to work again until the next time it stops pinging This might not seem like a big deal but if you have employees spread out around the Chicagoland area it becomes a burdensome time consuming event to hunt each device down and troubleshoot them Recently we switched over to iPhone and the same problem exists even on the iPhone 4 and 5 Some users upgraded to the Samsung galaxy s5 and still this problem exists When I called telenav they gave me tips on how to reset the system Basically telling me to do what I was already doing That was their solution And if that wasnt enough My office staff recently upgraded to windows 7 on our PCs The telenav website dictates that users log in using internet explorer But when you try to log in using Windows Explorer on a windows 7 machine it says Important Note You are running an unsupported browser type TeleNav Track supports the Internet Explorer web browser Click here to download and install the latest version of Internet Explorer When you click the link It takes you to a THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED webpage After a call to telenav they take you through steps to change the Compatibility View settings in explorer to access their website I have to do this every time I log in Wasnt anyone working on this before windows 7 came out And wait theres more Users that upgraded their I phones to the latest IOS cant even log in to telenav Now we have a bunch of phones that cant use an app we are paying for Telenav says We recommend that all Apple users of TNTrack DO NOT UPGRADE their iPad and iPhone to Apples newly announced iOS 8 while this issue is being addressed Sure that is the solutionjust do not upgrade The app is unstable The support is crazily unhelpful offering band aids to problems that need more attention And the overall software seems outdatedstill catching up with todays modern devices and software Telenav has been a great disappointment and I highly do not recommend it     Problematic outdated little support

I like how we can now see everyone from the iPad and not jut the computer It is great for expense reports as well                 Great solution

Its a great app but the phone numbers are in a dark blue color that makes you have to strain your eyes to read them Please change to a better contrasting color like yellow and Ill give it five stars              Cant read phone s

Does not work with iOS 8     Does not work

So companies spend money every month for this service and it is never updated and rarely works properly Way to loose business     Ever going to update

Crashes constantly innaccurate     Waste of time

Requires expensive service to use Cant get past welcome screen without an account pin     Requires special corporate service

i love this app it gives me what I want takes me to where I want to go I mean with all GPS devises there is room to improve for this one I would want it integrated with MAPS The BEST customer service 247 Winner                 Great Company
