The Teleprompter Lite is now available as a free download on Apple Store for iPad owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 1.5 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.0 has been released on 2014-11-24. This app used to work but now it does not A very lengthy script I used only a few months ago I can no longer find The very basic features that were available before are now only available in the upgraded paid version I really need my former script I have no confidence in what the paid version will provide Very disappointing     Not Good P. Not sure why there as so many that complain about this app It is free and does what it needs to do scroll text at the desired rate If you want to edit text do it in a text editor and copy it to the app when ready That way you get what you need It works great for me No complaints                     Great app Karin33

when the very basic tasks of renaming scripts or pasting text fail quite miserably from a user experience standpoint and they do in this app you can bet that the higher end functions don t work either then i touched on the get teleprompter pro button to see what the deal was it took me to the app store as expected but now every time i launch the app it a tries to take me back to the store even before i can do anything or b resprings my iPad there are four teleprompter apps i ve looked at so far there are two each by two different developers each set has a lite and a pro premium version and the two sets are so similar they share even some of the same bugs i smell a scam i won t be using this app and i most certainly won t be upgrading to the pro version pro what pros at taking my money no thanks     meh PoochBowen

This is called Teleprompter when i lacks the one key element of a true teleprompter It should be called scrolling cue card instead They try to sucker you into buying the pro version Not a fan     Worthless deyoeman

So far it s a two f it had a couple features I would rate it higher One feature I would like to see instead of scroll speed would be a tempo or beats per minutes This would be very useful on stage If I knew the pro version had that feature I would buy the pro version in a minute Otherwise this is a very good app         Needs a couple features mr.dad

This App is Exact Knock off what Joe Allen Produces One Huge problem if you paid the 7 00 for the app there is not a refund 2nd The app does not Rotate with you iPad it is stuck in horizontal locked and never goes portrait you don t want this knock off app You have to copy you text from other apps to import even with the paid app the import does not work you want the Joe Allen app Even the free Joe Allen Teleprompter 2 app Rotates from Horizontal to Portrait Again do not buy the 7 00 version of this app you will just think man that review was right i should have listen to him     Don t buy this app greatredgiant

It s really sad when they let someone put in an application that cannot really be used unless you want to type in the entire text This application is so crippled you cannot use it to even see if it could serve your needs When you open the app I action you can do one thing create a new script When you select the Add Script you get 2 choices Compose Script or Import Script if you try to import Script you are immediately presented with a pop up asking you to upgrade to TelePrompTer Pro or the choice Maybe Later If you select Maybe Later you are taken back to the main screen where you can Compose Script or Import Script Nice trick If you select Compose Script a sample script opens You can partially edit it but that is awkward due to the way the text scrolls all the way to the top of the screen and is partially cut off But worse you cannot paste text into the editing area You can type in text and that is it I understand that this version is the Lite Version But no where are these limitations outlined and what use is the application if you effectively cannot get any text into it to every really even try it Sure you can type some text in but even that is made hard Don t waste your time Bad developer practices     Nearly Unusable Misleading JRomer79

I have spent 30 minutes trying to import text from a Word document but have been unsuccessful Specifically every time I tap on the screen the keyboard comes up thereby preventing me from pasting the text into the teleprompter It gives me the option of Editing in Microsoft Word yet when I open Word it requires a subscription to Office 365 If they offered zero stars I would select that option     Almost Impossible to Import Impossible to edit

The very fact that this app exists is a sad commentary on the state of the App Store Not only does it not work at all it also tries to grab your email address at the beginning Stay away     Absolute waste of space jscheel
