What a great app Very well built with great content It matches the books answers perfectly                 Excellent

This app is exactly what you need before your cert test Ace these tests and the cert test is as good as yours If you are already familiar with OS X then the answer explanations should make sense If not there is a link provided to purchase the study book The eBook version was cheapest under 50 There was one problem and one annoyance The problem is with the scoring of tests Im averaging at least 3 scoring mistakes per test The annoyance is with the slide up window that displays a grid of numbers to jump to questions is temperamental and it takes multiple presses to activate it              Must Have

This app can be a useful tool that reinforces the subjects on which the tester should put more focus It tests your understanding of the book and throws specific wording that makes you choose the most specific answer even though an answer may be right per se a different answer will be more correct based on the wording That helps your focus You should also not solely rely on this app to pass the test any good exam has out of the box questions that only learned people get right through research and experience The app is universal so it works on iPhone iPad thats good enough for me why would I also have an iPod Touch As a result you have two testing databases so that adds to the random delivery of the questions I believe the popular issue with selecting and deselecting an answer but the test only reads the initial selection may be remedied if the tester deselects the answer first then selects the other answer The app has yet to crash on me Suggestions It might be an improvement to have a timer It could be helpful to add to the Learn page when you review the wrong answers perhaps add a page number and not just the chapter and also explain why each incorrect answer does not work as a correct answer Maybe add a bonus question that is only found in the reference material links etc outside of the word for word content of the book and of course dont drag your feet to release the new app for Mac OS X Support Essentials v107 when that happens              Good but nothing can be perfect

It is an ok tool If you want to score high as well as have a sufficient working knowledge of the OS buy the book and get to reading              Its ok

I downloaded the free snow 101201 apps and although helpful this app was invaluable The questions were very similar to the actual exam in both form and content Thank you so much for this VERY helpful study material                 So helpful

This app is good for review before the exam but dont depend on it Definitely read the book first This has great questions but not a lot of them The tests also have the same questions in the same order so you have to stop and restart a few times to get new questions Overall good app just use it for a quick review of everything before you go into the exam              Good app

I used this app to help prepare for my 106 Essentials exam This app identified my gaps in knowledge and showed me where to find the information in the text Be aware that these are only questions similar to what you will find on the exam and not questions you will find on the exam                 Great review tool helped identify gaps in knowledge

This is a staple app for the entry level exam even better for brushing up Five stars and totally worth 5 Easily worth 10 or more Huge library of questions Pointers to each chapter where you can find an answer are available And you can even test yourself make a game out of it and try and beat your score Honestly one of the best testing apps for Apple Certifications out there if not the best on iOS                 Excellent App for Certification

Im studying for the exam and this app so helpful and is really helping me to study                 Great resource

I Paid for this program in hopes that coupled with my book for the certification exam It would help me get ready for the test When you take the practice exam the program will ask you questions based on information from the book But when you take the certification it self NONE OF THE QUESTIONS ON IT WILL APPEAR ON THE CERT EXAM According to this program i was getting passing score of 80 basically telling me that i knew the material on the book and that i was ready to take the test When I took the test i failed it cause this program match nothing to the certification at all so it did not get me ready for it I gets better if you try to contact apple and tell them that the application sold by them approved by them in reference to a certification given by them did not help u pass the exam at all and that the application doesnt match their exam at all Apple will link you to their legal website which basically tells you that they have nothing to do with it and if you want to take the test again you have to pay for it again Please know that if you buy this application thinking that just cause your passing it and passing the certification practice exam on it Dont think when you get there you going to see this questions cause your not not a single question in this test got me ready for the 86 questions on the exam     This program is the worst

Was hoping to study on the go with this but answer explanations are very unhelpful for the most part something like this is the answer because its the answer now go home and pick up the book if you want details Interface is buggy and Im constantly tripping the forward swipe to go the the next question when Im trying to tap an answer to the the current one           Definitely needs work

This app is not completely without merit but just for example 19 percent of the certification exam deals with network configuration and network services a fact that is not reflected in the practice tests this app offers at all Do not rely on your test scores here     Buyer Beware

This is a well built application My complaint is that there are not enough test questions seems like only about 100 different questions It certainly does not cover the course subject in depth it touches on only a fraction of what may be asked in the test Reading the description of the app it says there are 200 questions Thats enough if you want to see if you are ready to take the test But I need to learn the breadth and width of the content Put a couple thousand questions in this app and it could be a true study aid The app title is accurate Test Yourself for 106 It will do that So Id give 5 stars if that was all I wanted I was hoping for another way to learn the material I hate reading through text books front to back I find it of little use as material does not stick in my brain this way           Good but needs more content

The app really helped me figure out where I needed to focus on my reading basically as their disclaimer stated This is a good addition to your study guide but nothing beats the book and real world experience I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for all the support materials they can find prior to taking the test I did find one issue wherein if the question allows for multiple selections if you select one answer then change it before you submit it there is a chance that when the test gets scored it doesnt reflect the change that you made I plan on contacting the developer about this otherwise Id rate it a 5 start like I did for the Server Essentials app Important Note for the bad reviews Read the disclaimer that was provided about the app If you are expecting the questions in the app to appear on the actual certification exam dont You are going down a path of false hope The actual exam focuses on the application of knowledge rather than just the knowledge This app can help you identify your knowledge deficiencies and where to focus while studying the Certification Books and other materials              Great App Helped alot

The app mimics the real look and feel of the test as Im sure it is meant to Being able to go back once you complete the test look at all of your answers and find out which ones you got wrong is immensely helpful You dont to do that after taking the test in real life which always puzzled me How is one supposed to learn The only 2 things I wished were different are 1That the practice test was longer than 30 questions each time and 2The questions changed more often Being that the real test is 85 questions and Im sure is randomized each time meaning there are a lot more potential questions I find I see some of the same questions just a little more often than I would want to each time I take the practice tests I see a completely new question that hasnt been used yet it seems like maybe 13 of the time Other than these two things though I feel like the app does a great job in being another tool to help you prepare for the ACSP certification test Well worth the cost Good luck to all                 Great app

Very helpful tool to prepare for the exam Yes you need to read the book too but this is a great prep tool I hope they are making more Apple resources for these types of exams I would buy them Take the test over and over and the switch up will teach you to focus on the change and get a better grade over time and then take the exam MacD                 Great resource for studying for the exam

Based on past certifications that I have taken I find this tool wonderful Ive had this app for over a month and I continue to use it It is not a standalone study source in the sense that you will want to have a comprehensive manual presumably the official one from Peach Pit Press authored by Kevin White It does a great job on helping me identify knowledge areas that I need to review PROS It is easy to use It has many helpful features It has a database of 200 questions derived from Apples own Snow 101 Skills Assessment Guide It has basic explanations with references to the relevant chapter in the authorized book It has Study and Test mode CONS It has a few errors You cannot go through all the questions systematically you get sets of 30 questions that are drawn randomly from the entire pool You cannot generate practice tests that focus on specific chapters or on your weak spots Ive basically created my own version of this in the past either with handwritten or iFlash cards This is a great time saver and has high production values Despite the cons Ive listed I highly recommend this 4411              Great toolcould be better

Im feeling pretty confidant about taking my certification exam                 Great Training App

This is just a refreshing test for me since I already have the certification but it is an excellent application for both the test and refreshing for job interview purposes I believe some companies does give Apple test to job applicants to see how good they are and this app does the job                 Excellent app

The only benefit to using this app is that is covers the material in the official training book Mac OSX Support Essentials v106 but as a practice test it is rather weak for the price It only provides 30 questions at a time There is no option to adjust that You cannot pick questions from specific categories The app description shows it has around 200 questions but each time the practice test was launched I encountered the same questions over and over I had to keep cancelling and starting the test until it finally gave new questions        Decent Testing App But Needs Work

It quizzed me me over the material that was on the test It didnt have the exact same questions on the test but it went over the material I wouldnt use this exclusively to pass the test but it helped              It helped me pass the test

I find that in every test I get a couple wrong because it chooses answers other than what I chose It seems random but I havent tried analyzing it I thought I was going crazy at first then I wrote down what I chose and compared it after scoring The content is pretty good but I cant rely on the scoring because of the glitches update The multiple answer questions are the ones that rarely keep the answers I choose rather they choose random answers after the test is submitted        Glitchy

This is a great review tool if you are chasing certification Has multiple question forms more questions than you see on one run through giving you some questions that are the same as previous runs and some new ones multiple question formats randomized ordering of answers ertc An issue Ive run across it doesnt always record a changed answer Ill pick an answer decide another is a better answer and pick it then finish the test to see that the question is marked wrong with the first discarded answer still picked and the better correct answer unselected Thats annoying              Good review tool

The app is decent to study for the exam It is a but pricy but if you already are spending the money for training and exam 5 is just part of the debt I think Pearson knows that The format is decent but the actual exam includes what answer doesnt apply which I never saw this question format on this app Pros nice layout and reporting Cons sometimes if you select an answer that is wrong then change it to the right answer the will score the wrong answer              Good App
