Loud beep every time this app loads an article with a video I m not the first user to identify this problem and I know it s something that should have been caught during updates and and rollouts BEEP Nhgamerkyle

Want to hear the most annoying sound on earth BEEEEEEEP That s the sound this app makes EVERY TIME you open an article with a video Every Time Then there are other issues like the 6 billion ads per article that load improperly and overlay on top of the actual words that you came here to read It s disgraceful that such a respected publication would slap their name on such a half assed app that shouldn t be that complicated in the first place Serious bugs that no one seems to care about Sem1nole

I really appreciate The Hill s reporting but the ads including pop ups and now one that inexplicably blacks out the display for a moment and plays a tone are so out of control that I can only use it when my ad blocking VPN is enabled Then sometimes the ads attempt to launch and crash the app Aggressive Ads larunnr

I can t stand the modal ad banner that wont budge regardless of how I scroll through the articles I wouldn t mind if the ad moved along as I scrolled but this aggressive always in my face ad format suggests financial desperation on the part of the content producer I ll probably just go back to reading the articles using safari with 1Blocker ad blocking enabled Like the articles hate the ads Jnachod2015

The App sends me an alert to big news but when I click the alert it takes me to the app home page NOT the story that triggered the alert And the front page is never up to date so I can never find the story that the alert came up for Very frustrating may as well use the mobile site and forget the App Sends me an alert hides the story

The Hill has never looked so stunningly unappealing as it does in this app I would never have imagined a wellknown publication approve such an ugly mobile version Visual Appeal

Come on Hill you finally update your app for high resolution retina display or so I thought but where would that be Your app icon is one of the most blurriest I have on my phone and its still there for your so called high resolution update I just dont see the retina update anywhere on the app Also the huge add at the bottom of your appwhy dont you make it go away like most apps do after its been there for a little bit instead of just staying on screen all the time Maybe get inapp purchase to get rid of all adds Last but not least you need to work on when reading a story its slow and clunky when trying to bring controls up on screen ie back and font control updated for retinaI dont think so

Cannot tweet an article When clicking the social media button there are no options to select Worst there no option to cancel and go back to the article so your are stuck there No option but to close the app Social media integration not working

The Hill needs to try again Its app is not exactly great to navigate and this is just another failed update that didnt actually improve anything to be honest I think that it actually made it a little bit worse I say return to the drawing board and come up with a better way to present the articles improve overall navigation and join the 21st century Another Bad Update
