The Kansas City Star for iPad

Using EStar the readers experience should mimic the reading of an actual newspaper not some bells and whistles clown show this app now provides On an iPad you can barely read the headlines on replica version of the paper The body copy is a black smudge thats illegible Does anyone at the Star actually use this app Worst update ever Its what the military would term FUBAR Fix this crap     Awful Truly Dumb

The app opens promptly Articles selected open on a separate page in a convenient larger text size Closing finished articles returns the reader to the page the article is selected from This is a most satisfactory ereader application                 estar

Loads fast is uptodate Wish there werent so many ads but guess thats part of the deal with any news app                 Works fine for me

Just had it for a short while but like it very well Easy to navigate great precise links Much easier than paging thru the paper for my things of interest                 Great handy app

I love the ap I stopped receiving the hard copy paper delivery This is much more convenient and I dont have stacks of papers to deal with                 Kansas City Star

App worked great before upgrade now most of it wont even load and it crashes every 5 min Upgraders beware     Do not upgrade

I liked the app before the latest update If it aint broke dont fix it     Content not updating

The iPad app for the Kansas City Star is constantly getting better The app provides a view of most articles breaking news even the ability to see a reader view of current and past days published issues with advertisements Early versions of this app were difficult to navigate and had a problem bouncing one out of the app suspecting you were not a subscriber even when you were Navigation in out and between articles has improved The obituaries still have some nav pains that dont exist when reading the Star online This is probably due to access to the Legacy app which may not be adequately supported on the iPad I give the Star credit for its obvious effort at improvement and look forward to daily use of this application              KC Star Improvement

I paid for this subscription Same Star content but would be better if you get rid of the intrusive ads           Ads

This app is difficult to use and KC Star has lousy tech support Sing in is confusing as there is an Advantage account and Press account USELESS     KC Star app is TERRIBLE

This app is horrible Doesnt update from day to day If reading this paper is important read it through the internet not this app Required to rate but it should be a 10     Revised KC Star App

This app is horrible In fact its so bad I wrote a review and I dont write reviews Crashes pics are blurry and it just looks cheep It was better before     Wish I didnt update

If this is supposed to be an improvement from the app version it replaced it significantly misses the mark The Featured News section wont come up on the screen and the drop down to access different areas is incomplete Was this engineered by the same folks who brought us healthcaregov        Needs help badly

I used to love this applooked at it every day But the recent update locks it in landscape mode and only fills the left half of the screen It wont scroll to the bottom so you cant read all the articles I sent a note about it but got no response Seems like they arent interested in feedback I guess Back to the channel 9 app     Needs an update

Will not work on iPad v1 or older iPods     Not worth loading

Horrible app If you are going to force people to download your crappy app to read the news at least build a decent app Doesnt refresh and cant force it to     Horrid

Tickled to find this app at first because I missed my hometown paper so much Within a few days its asking for my subscriber login to read any article I even tried to subscribe so I could get it but you cant subscribe without real delivery Dont deliver in NV Whats the point Worthless Back to accessing on Internet     Bummer
