This is great just like it was when it first came out Only a few iOS glitches especially when you try to resume game after a break but other than that no complaints                 Great adventure

Storyline is fantastic I am a fan of point and click games and this did not disappoint The only thing is the navigation in the game was a bit difficult and took a while to get used to Other than that excellent I would play it again                 Mysterious and intriguing

I approached this game seeing it as a very popular masterpiece of gaming back in 1997 Though not successful commercially and though being very old I wanted something new This game is brilliant Less a game than an interactive murder mystery movie there are many brilliant aspects to this game It is set perfectly in preWorld War 1 Europe on the most famous train ever The game perfectly captures the experience of being on a train from different sleeping cars to the dining car restaurant car baggage car and even captures the service that European train conductors provided The characters are very well developed and you will know each very well by the end and like and dislike some The voice acting is brilliant with over 800 pages of it and interesting conversations everywhere Music aids the story well And my favorite part of the game is that it is real time There may be multiple conversations going on at once on the train in different cars And you have to choose between some of them You will rarely miss something important but its this concept that brings the game to life and lets you play this story as if you were really this What I didnt like were a few game crashes Im running an iPad mini and maybe had 3 crashes but the game was never affected Still kinda irritating in some parts And the gameplay is very old Icons are close together and jumbled and figuring out what each does on the train takes time and practice By the end it wont affect the story but at first you may feel trapped and lost Now graphics are hit or miss These are old graphics and in some areas its like an artistic painting where the painting just moves about In others the graphics really show age and just look old But I do feel that it will grow on you after some time But I am glad they didnt remake the game at the same time because it really feels like youre watching a piece of art in story form that you play All I have to say is this game is one of the best story lines out there and Id say its better than console games like Assassins Creed Alan Wake Halo etc This game is an experience This tops my list of apps recommended for people and I highly recommend it for anyone except young children who may not appreciate the game will get confused or wont understand the game Dont ask yourself if its worth it or not because at the end of the day I feel like it is an experience into classic gaming and pure gaming narrative art that anyone and everyone should have at some point                 Pure Art

The game sounds great I hope that there is a way I can actually play it Ive tried deleting and reinstalling it but that didnt help     Quits when I start it on iPad

I have been playing graphic adventure games since 1989 initially on my Amiga 500 so its refreshing to see these games been brought back to life on iOS This said The Last Express is by far the worst in this category terrible controls superlow quality graphics ever heard of remastering and somehow even requires a humongous amount of disk space 13GB Buyers beware play Monkey Island Broken Sword or even Simon the Sorcerer or Beneath a Steel Sky before remotely considering this game     Worst graphic adventure game

for starters im a huge achristie and those type of books and pointclick adventure game fan but this one let me down big time i wasnt expecting much but the graphics could definitely be better for a 2012 game the gameplay is hard to control and even if you get used to it it doesnt satisfy you at all it is definitely a failure other than these very bad gameplay and not even decent graphics the story is nice and real time characters are a nice touch but id say this isnt worth paying that much money i only finished it cuz i paid it i dont recommend this game at all for serious pointclick adventure game players        bad gameplay

I played this back in 1997 and loved the comicbook style graphics then I was thrilled to see this game given new life in iOS Graphics are excellently done and reveal character emotion surprisingly well The story is a gem in and of itself with enough fun and suspense action and romance to to keep the player entertained to the end                 Excellent story

I cried a little when I heard this game was finally coming out for the iOS This a game that was truly ahead of its time when it was released in the 90s It was obscure then because of Broderbund going bankrupt but that seems like it was meant to be                 Best PointClick adventure EVER

The original Last Express is a classic The port manages to modernize it nicely though navigation is still a pain at times and it is very difficult to know where exactly you are on the train at times Also I was prompted to rate the game while I was playing which was very intrusive Would be more tolerable if that request happened when I was in the menu              Excellent game pretty good port

DotEmu needs to do some more quality assurance for this title As other reviewers have stated there are some awful glitches in the game The game freezes and must be started over But worst of all entire parts of the game are just missing and you cant continue you just wait idly for nothing to happen Hints in the game do not work properly They tell you to go to a cart to talk to people but there are not people in that cart and they never come Deeply disappointing Buyer beware        Train to glitch city

This is really great If youre a fan of point and click adventure games this ones for you The story is a little confusing at first and youll probably have to restart a few times to get to the end but when you do youll find the story really picks up The touch sensitivity is a little off but nothing horrible And the fact that the whole game is in real time is great and really makes you think about your decisions All in all this is pretty fantastic Bravo              A Great Adventure Bravo

Although there is enough space on my iPad 3GB it is impossible to download the game Every time I try I get the error message that there is not enough space I restarted the iPad several times deleted the app reinstalled it deleted content but still it doesnt work It would be great to have support as this game seems to be very good     Download impossible

Apparently this is a port of a classic Mostly its just obnoxious looking around and some utterly miserable combat The controls could not be more infuriating        Dopey controls

This is a unique point and click adventure that has a truly engrossing story It is unique because the other characters go about their business whether or not you decide to take action or not This is different than most adventure games where only your actions affect the events going on but in this game characters move and events unfold in real time making it all the more immersive Definitely worth the buy if you enjoy period piece thrillers                 Cool Story Based Game

What a tribute to creativity This game made me feel humbled at what can be achieved with great art story and technology I noted that after the first 15 minutes I forgot that this was a game and felt more like a rider on the Orient Express Each character has been developed well and the story unfolds in a nonlinear way This game was way ahead of its time when it came out and I am so glad I was able to get my hands on it through the App Store These guys deserve belated awards                 An incredible accomplishment of art and technology blending together

First off when I bought the game it wouldnt download even though I had enough storage available Should have headed this as a warning But I was eager the see how the game was and didnt want to waste 5 So after freeing up additional space it finally decided to download The storyline is quite interesting as mystery games like this are hard to find However the controls are less than great at best and I found them very annoying at first However the most upsetting fact about this game is how glitchy it is I have made progress in the game and then found myself being set back at least twice primarily during chapter 3 There is no notification and all progress is just randomly lost Unless the developers can fix this I can only see this adaptation of the game as a disappointment        Read before buying

It is a really nice game with a great story Definitely worth about 23 play throughs There are times when I wish the graphics were a little more fluid and higher quality but everything else makes up for those things                 Great Game If You Like Myst This Games For You

Game seems fine but I cant even enjoy since there is no audio cant recommend at all From other reviews I see thats its been a long term issue and yet its still around     No audio
