    Loved the idea of food log but the preprogrammed nutrition value is often either wrong or shows up as a different caloric value when I entered it in my food log than what it shows when I select it Very frustrating So Ive ordered the paper Food Journal instead Much of the app is simply not intuitive Cannot easily edit or delete weight entries in weight tracker I think the people who developed this App should actually use it Im using iPhone 5s iOS 84 so maybe App isnt up to par with new iOS     Big Disappointment Mayo Clinic
    I love the idea behind this app Tracking servings is something that I do instead of calorie counting because it causes me anxiety I use to have an eating disorder and I was really excited when I downloaded this app I need to make sure I get my required nutrients but I dont want the stress of calorie counting Unfortunately this app is basically useless without an expensive subscription Its incredibly overpriced and I will not be purchasing     Seems like a great app but too expensive

    The main thing I want to use it for on the go is to track foods eaten So access to your food database is pretty important And definitely sync to desktop Usability is very good now to fine tune the features we need included        Upgrade suggestion

    This appears to be a way to insert a powerful vacuum cleaner into your iTunes account After the success Mayo Clinic had with its diet plan I have the book and the companion journal its a shame their app couldnt actually do something like be an electronic version of the journal Maybe even integrate with Apples Health app Instead we have the option to spend a lot of money to send our data off to an untrusted third party to get what result We sure cant figure it out from any information provided by the Mayo Clinic or the developer Shame Mayo Clinic You missed the boat     Doesnt do anything until you give them marketing data

    I made the rookie mistake of assuming that MAYO CLINIC branding meant quality and even BIGGER mistake of subscribing for 1 year based on discount pricing Turns out this app is really just pdflike in that it presents information but has no interaction It stresses the need for you to track your dietfitness but doesnt provide that capability It provides meal planning without shopping lists and so on Ive gone back to using MyFitnessPal as that does all of the above for free If you need any of the informationadvicecoaching offered by the MAYO app just google healthy diet weight loss and save yourself 9000 year subscription fee     More of a pdf than an app

    The Mayo Clinic diet itself is great but buy the book and use a free app like Fitbit app is free activity trackers are not to track things The Mayo Clinic Diet App is incredibly basic and not particularly useful The app doesnt even include all the features the diet suggests I was completely disappointed        Better free options
    Sounded like a great APP Trusted source But I upgraded to Premium and everything is still locked I emailed support and shared 4 days later they emailed me back and said only to call them I hate calling a support dept Just email me what you need Im sure they will make it right but I have very little time to mess with this     Unhappy

    This app doesnt do much unless you get the subscription which is 8000 a year if you pay for the whole year Otherwise it is even more expensive As far as apps go this is the most expensive Ive seen There are a lot of fitness trackers available guess Ill stick with those     Useless without expensive subscription
    I signed up for the free version 3 days ago Thats basically only a tracker and it only lets the customer view the current day food and activity no weight tracking However it was very simple food is tracked by portions just click and its tracked I liked it and signed up for the paid version today Not greatly more helpful My issue is that it is simple to track by portion foods such as an apple click fruit once or a slice of bread click carb But what about something thats a mixture I bought the app so I could maybe see how certain foods were categorized What about hummus is it a proteincarborfat Is it one of each I still dont know Mayo offers a lot of recipes but doesnt tell you how to count them on your tracker So for example their muesli bars have grains sugar fruit and nuts They tell you how many portions the recipe will make and provide a nutrition label such as you would find on a food package but you would still not know if there was enough fruit to count as a portion Which leads to the next issue if it was a half portion theres no way to track that My recommendation dont pay The free version is a worthwhile daily tracker           Needs improvement
    I have absolutely loved the mayo clinic diet book as well as the journal Now that theres an app this already realistic diet is even more convenient I am so excited I love counting servings win food groups instead of calories Much more doable I also love the emotional aspects of eating and exercising being addressed                 Finally an app
    Unless Im missing the whole point this is just an ad for the actual diet plan You cant do anything wont signing up and paying for the plan itself     Am I missing something

    I like having the menus and recipes in my pocket but I cannot find a way to food journal which you can do from the desktop version Also the app support brings you to a page with radio buttons which asks how long youve used the app After making the selection I tap the next button which clears your choice and does NOT go to the next page           no food entry
    Tracking tools are handy But you cannot sync it from one device to another or customize the serving tracker I would rather follow my own doctors recommendations than the guidelines the app has           Handy but inflexible
    1 Wont take no for an answer for long with writing a review 2 bizarrely no cloud sync yet despite requiring a web login 3 otherwise quite good with wonderful content and a clean unbothersome interfacelike a cooler version of Weight Watchers              Nags relentlessly for a review
