The Moth

This app is hardly worth a dollar The moths content is incredible I love just about every story I hear It has made me laugh out loud and has brought me to tears But the app and its many flaws does the same I still recommend getting it to support the moth and what they do just be prepared to be frustrated and sometimes disappointed with the functionality of the app           5 star content 1 star app

This is my favorite story telling app I have had no problems with the appeverything plays well                 Love Stories

I love the Moth I try and catch it on Saturdays but dont always succeed Hearing it through the app is the next best thing Content is awesome the app design could do with some work And please make the app Universal so I can use it on my iPad           Awesome content but Meh App

I wish my uncle Jay was still alive so he could hear these excellent bards bare their souls and eventually inspire him to make his own way to the main stage He was often told that he couldve been the late bearded Ernest Hemingway reincarnate actually won some odd lookalike contest devoted to the man Jay could tell a stories jokes like no other with a booming voice that exterminated boredom This program is the closest I can get to being back in his presence I can never thank The Moth enough for providing the next best platform Cheers                 Worthy

I keep looking for the search feature Havent found one yet Also theres not a way to set a timer to shut it off This is important when using it before sleep Audible and Podcast apps have this feature so should be easy to include Also the play features are dicey I can be in the middle of listening to an episode pick up my iPod and that simple touch will take me to another episode and I lose my place Progress on any episode is hard to track        Love the Moth the app Not so much

I really enjoy listening to The Moth through this app Its a great way to listen to a show I dont always have the time to catch when playing on my local radio station              The Moth is great

I love this app I listen to it on the way to work its made me laugh made me cry The stories are told by real people and Ive even learned a few life lessons while listening If you havent downloaded it do it now                 Download it

I often listen while Im driving and I would love continuous listening Once a story or hour ends I wish the next one downloaded would automatically play If that gets done I would give 5 stars           I love the Moth but not this app

App is constantly force closing Just did it 4 times in a row Terrible     Suddenly not working

I bought this because I was looking for an episode that had expired on the podcast app But after I downloaded the app I found out it doesnt include all the episodes including the ones I was looking for Why the heck would I pay for limited access when you get it for free on the podcast app     Not what I expected

Obviously great to have access to the history of podcasts and to make favorites list The App crashes regularly though and completely fails when trying to resume a now playing podcast Additionally when you scroll through the episodes the info offered is minimal If you try to click on it for additional details it starts to load that podcast It should show names of all story tellers Maybe its there and it just wasnt intuitive Also when one podcast ends some are short it should start playing the next one in the stream or your favorites list Would certainly be safer for use while driving Anyway againpodcast rocks App not so much        GREAT PODCAST App needs work

The moth is great Theres always something to listen to but the app is lacking It doesnt remember where you left off or what episodes youve listened to Although it has its issues its worth the struggle of using the poor app              Love the stories not the app

The app crashes frequently but it does give me the ability to go back and listen to older episodes and be able to download them Even though the crashing can irritating I still think it is money well spent           Love the moth dont love the app

What a great show to listen to This app is great because of the content The only problem is the app crashes quite frequently especially when you try to play downloaded episodes However content is great              The Moth is great but app functionality can be improved

Definitely needs some stability fixes It would also be helpful if we could mark episodes as listened too        The moth rocks app is meh

Love that I can access all these past episodes Its my favorite to listen too during Long drives and bike rides I do find it a little difficult to delete episodes that I have already heard as well as downloading but have had no problem with it crashing                 Love the moth

I love The Moth but this app is terrible It crashes CONSTANTLY and doesnt track what you have and havent listened to It might only be 99 cents but the amount of frustration it offers is priceless Please fix the bugs and update This podcast deserves so much better     PLEASE FIX THE BUGS AND UPDATE

I put on the moth when I get into work and it doesnt turn off until I leave We laugh and cry together day in and day out Thank you my constant companion for all the stories                 The app that gets me through my day

Anyone who give this app more than the required 1 star is misleading everyone The Moth is great but they need to update the app so it doesnt crash As it stands they should pay us to download the app because it crashes so much     Love the Moth HATE the app It crashes

Definitely needs some minor bug issues fixed I constantly have to close out entirely and end up losing my spot But I put up with it because I love the moth           Moth rules app can use some work

The app crashes about 80 of the time I love the Moth and the app is a great idea Downloading to my iPhone is a constant challenge streaming rarely works and the app very often crashes Please fix I dont like that I paid for an app that doesnt work I would rather the Moth have the 1     CRASHES

I didnt believe the other reviewers How bad could it be Pretty bad it turns out The search function does not work at all It wont find a speaker if you have their exact name or title of their talk There isnt even a sort or search by topic Its completely useless unless I want to scroll and scroll forever to find items that interest me Moth you are better than this     I hope they didnt pay someone to create this app

Happy to have this app but wish it had a working search feature Its frustrating that I can find all the stories I want on the website but while I prefer the app there are fewer story options That said still worth it              Love The Moth

Not crazy about the layout and user interface of the app but it gets the job done Would like if I could listen to one story instead of having to listen to all the stories ahead of it in a series Like the ability to download stories so I can listen later on and not use cellular data I would enjoy a cleaner interface with categories sort by features and what not All in all not bad and gets the job done              Love The Moth the app gets the job done

Love Listening to the Moth live but now I can listen whenever Id like I can listen to one story then another or a whole hours worth The experience or the app would be better if a story youve already listened to was highlighted each time you opened the app and not per session but I am getting used to remembering the last story                 LOVE The Moth

I like the one hour segments 15 minute segments arent long enough I have keep going back to start to get another episode Great stories Thanks to all those brave enough to tell their story              Very good stories

I havent run into any problems with the app and The Moth is one of the very best shows on the radio It just lets you into the most interesting little bits of other peoples lives or sometimes on a bigger scale into the longer arc of someones life and there are some really interesting people and lives out there Is it censored I hadnt noticed the censor but another review said it is if so you need to uncensor immediately                 Moth is the Best

I am a huge fan of the Moth on NPR This app lets me listen to stories for either a few minutes or an hour The stories make you laugh and think Get it Never crashes for me                 Fantastic stories
