This app means well and I certainly wish it well but it needs some work to make it more easily navigable I cant figure out how to sail this ship away from shore For the most part it just sits at the dock with the promise of a fine day for sailing Please work on it Its a lovely idea We poetry lovers need some help

Love the app but most of my poems delete after I write them I continually retype them and the same thing happensany suggestions Erases work

Apparently this very attractive site isnt up to speed yet The poems are difficult to access When I tap a title I only get the poets biography When I search for a title I get no results even if Ive seen the title above the poets portrait So far the app is very disappointing though promising Under construction

The material in this app is excellent but finding it is infuriating Ive had it for a number of months but just figured it out the other day Search doesnt work some of the poems are attributed to the wrong poet and I cant turn that awful fireplace sound off If they made it easier to use it would be fabulous Confusing
How do you open the poems The balloons just float by Touching the poets face doesnt work either Am I missing something No info given in Help section The poetry app

This app was amazing when it worked I used it with my English and creative writing students Now I cant get mine to work The poetry I wrote in the app is gone and I cant retrieve it or show it to my students This needs to be fixed ASAP I want to use it again in my classroom I would also love to see more poets listedPoe more of Kipling more females represented Loved itwhen it worked
When I create a poem the text is gone when I open it back up Come on man thats elementary fix this please And I think this happens because I pasted it in there please allow text to be pasted Ugh iOS 7 has too many glitches with apps
This is an unbelievably amazing app It is beautifully designed intelligently rich in content and absolutely free ie no inapp popup asking users to spend money no advertisement I would have gladly paid to have this app Best edu app ever

What kind of poetry app doesnt have Poe Seems to be using more obscure poets and not enough of the more well known poemspoets Seriously needs poet updates
This app is incredibly glitchy I teach Poetry and would love to use this all the time with my students but its hard to open navigate see landscape vs portrait and its just really frustrating Apparently others have had similar issues Hopefully someone realizes how glitchy it is soon and fixes it It leaves a poor impression of the Josephine Hart Poetry Foundation So unfortunate

Used to be a great app but after downloading the update it doesnt work anymore App problems
Its actually unbelievable that this highly designed and beautiful app is free considering the amount of content it offers Anyone who wants a quick tour of some of the best poets of the English language should get this app The readings are good and very useful for getting a feel of the emotion but what is also unbelievable is that the author of this app for some reason has left out some very important authors Shakespeare and Pope just to name two while including more obscure ones Auden and Plath Best part its free
but the new update ruined it It wont open properly now Awesome app with a great selection

The app that I download is the poetry appThe app is the best app on my opinion of language arts This is the best app of language arts because in class we are writing poems the app helps to get ideas for a poemAlso you can write your on poem That is the best app for language arts in my opinion or just for writing poems for funThe other app that I downloade is not as well this because you cant write your own poemthe best thing in the app is you read famous poems Language Arts teachers should download
Since the last update I cannot even open the app It says it is unable to sync check internet connection Nothing wrong with my connection I had all my original work stored there and nowhere else I am devastated Lost Poems
But theres a bugsince the last update every time you go to create a new poemyou get the title of the poembut when you save everything all it shows is a blank page Great App
There are a few odd things about the interface context and design of this app It is also quite large at almost 1 gB The selection of poetry and the readings however are excellent Indeed in several cases it is difficult to imagine a better modern reading fine poems read well
This seems like it would be a great approach use I the classroom but the keyboard is upside down I love the idea of using words from famous poets I hope it gets fixed so that it becomes user friendly The poetry app

I havent been able to get in for a while now I keep waiting for a new update to fix this issue It wont let me even open the app Keeps telling me my internet connection wont let me sync I have a choice of later or cancel and both just kick me out This was a cool app that I enjoyed sharing with my class but now it is wasted space Im afraid to delete the app just yet because I dont want to risk saving a few poems but now Im just wondering if it is even worth the wasted space Please fix this issue Also when you try to go to the help section at the App Store it shows that this website no longer exists So does that mean the app designer manager has ditched us Does this app even exist anymore

I continue to rate this wonderful app with 5stars HOWEVER It has limited use in such as a classroom because it will not play through a portable Bluetooth speaker Bose Soundlink II Why not Thanks Jim Fleming Bluetooth
