Dear Developers The Root is a great app when it works It stopped working for me recently and judging from the reviews the app hasnt worked properly for others in over a year You have an app that people want They want it enough to install and reinstall repeatedly until they just give up Please fix the app so that we can enjoy the content that The Root has to offer or put us all out of our misery and remove it from the app store Thank you for your consideration Sincerely A Fan of The Root when it works        Hello Is anyone there

Seriously Washington Post Can you not devote adequate resources to develop a decent app for The Root Interestingly enough the Slate app works just fine What gives The Root readers deserve a better app experience     Crashes Constantly

I really enjoy The Root because it always has informative and relevant historical content that I like to discuss and share with my family particularly my children                 Relevant historical content

I love this app because it provides a unique perspective on current events as well as including a large variety of fascinating topics from the past and present The only problem that I have with it is that certain pages dont open properly and some images cannot be seen              Great Articles

I love the Root and was an avid reader even before the app was created The app tends to do something where youll be in the middle if a good article then it suddenly disappears Somewhat annoying since it only happens occasionally Once this is fixed it will be great           Good Content but

I love The Root but this app keeps crashing I have had issues with this app since I first downloaded it months ago I enjoy reading the content but it gets really annoying when you are in the middle of reading something very interesting and the app quits on you        Severe Crashing

I do enjoy reading the articles on The Root as others have already stated However I too have run into the issue of when Im in the middle of reading an article and the App crashes This is happened on more than one occasion Another issue is trying to open an article only to have the app freeze up youre unable to open the article But again for the most part I do enjoy the App              Pretty Good App

Great news by and about African Americans quite a change from my regular news sources that focus on negativity              Root

I reiterate every other review Please fix this because I used to really enjoy this app One star is too many for a app that wont even open     No stars

I really enjoy this app because the analysis of the articles are almost always spot on and they cover so many important issues that specifically deal with African Americans That being said there are a couple of issues that need to be addressed First for at least a week now Ive been unable to access any of the articles through the app It tells me something to the effect of Were unable to load content Please try again later This needs to be fixed immediately Second the staff insists on saying Quote of the day instead of Quotation of the day A quotation is a noun quote is a verb How is it that not a single person has realized this error I think it really hurts your credibility if you dont know the difference or refuse to address it Either way you should fix it If you address these problems I really dont have any qualms with this app Please take these criticisms into consideration and correct them as soon as possible           Current Problems

This app has great potential but lacks when compared to its online counterpart It has no comment ability and a few bugs when clicking links as well as with twitter and Facebook Fix these bugs and the rating can go 5 easy           Great app but lacks

Cannot close once email has been sent Totally stays stuck and will not go back to home on app Completely had to log out of my phone Hadnt any problems before today Really baffles me Removed app completely from my phone at this time     Keeps crashinggetting stuckcannot close

This app design is clean and easy to use However reader comments are a big part of The Root online Adding comment functionality to The Root app is a must           Good Could be better

I like this app quite a bit but was extremely disappointed when I discovered there was no search feature and no way to search for articles prior to mid summer 2014 Possible to search online but not within the app Also cant send feedback from within the app for the email address is listed as invalid so I could not voice my concern directly to makers of the app How disappointed I am        Search
