It weighs in at only 32.7 MB to download. The new Thermos Smart Lid app version 1.1 has been updated on 2015-09-03. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I really like the bottle but I wish they would have put a little more effort into the app The hydrate spark app can do a lot more And you can share with friends You spend 60 on a bottle you expect the app to be a little better Definitely needs some updates             It s okay jazzaylol

Love to keep tabs on current status and levels One thing I wish is since its not compatible with hot beverages that there was a spot on the app to enter in non Thermos drinks I drink at least 3 cups of herbal tea a day and would like to actually add that to the total That way the graphs would be more accurate at a glance instead of doing quick math in my head                 Addicting Cwmaci72

I purchased the bottle several months ago and initially it worked fine After a few months the bottle became less and less efficient finally the display froze and I could not get it to change no matter how much water I put in it I called the company and could not get a live representative and left a message for a callback and I am still waiting for that call I m sure the app is fine the bottle is the problem     Horrible if I could give a negative star I would SheHaw62

Was really happy in the beginning very few issues Until 3 weeks later then the app stopped working before I even did an iOS update There is no way to manually add water intake if you don t use the bottle and doesn t keep up at all with updates for Fitbit or iOS Would like to be able to use the bottle properly since it is not a cheap item Considering the thermos company is a good size Corp they should have the resources to keep up better than this         Good to bad beattiedance

I have really loved my SmarLid water bottle It has been really great and works well with the app My only complaint is that it is not double walled and sweats a lot which can be a complain with a lot of water bottles I like my water ice cold and the outer surfaces tends to drop condensation so I ve had to put it in a drink holders to soak up the excess water so it doesn t ruin furniture or papers on my desk                 Made a difference RoboBabyrn

I have continually have the problem where the water bottle does not recognize the true level of water It reads the temperature just fine however it states of the water bottle is always cool no matter how much I drink It worked the way it supposed to for the first couple weeks and now I ve had it for about six months and have not gotten it to work correctly after the first of weeks I tried all the troubleshooting including recalibrating deleting and reinstalling the app and resetting the bottle to factory Nothing is fixed the problem     Doesn t recognize water level fluids consumed Rn-chic

I can t believe you spend this much on a water bottle and the app is terrible The battery doesn t tell you when it needs to be charged there are no notifications to tell you to drink more there is no way to add water that isn t properly tracked Many improvements need to be made     Needs improvement Rossman Bossman

It was a good product but suddenly it started to forget to sync any water Then I started getting reset amounts 1 11 3 9 21 3 It s 24 and 24 It also does not sync to Fitbit after a while I end up having 0 ounces and have to delete all of those and add them by hand Garbage product     Failed in 2 months Joewaylo Gaming

It works well some days but some days it s like it resets during the day back to 0 And some days I ll drink 1 bottle and it ll show I ve already had 72 oz or something It s still buggy     Could be good but not yet Belove1

Recently purchased one of these to track hydration intake Instant recognition most of the time of your intake between the bottle and the app One does have to pay attention on how to use it and how it works If you take the time it makes sense and works well Synced it up with fitbit and it works great If you re not of the instant gratification genre and have a bit of patience the apps sync as advertised and it helps with water intake and personal accountability I liked it enough and it works well so I bought another one One for home and one for work both sync and have been very helpful Thanks Thermos                     Works as advertised Jim_Scott_33

I cannot have this bottle at work because Bluetooth is not allowed so I have to drink water from a glass There is no manual entry to track water when I can t use the bottle Brought this up to customer service and they said the bottle is only for water I actually drink Company could care less about you or their product     Buy a Spark Bottle a65gto

I was super excited to get a new gadget I don t drink enough water and I thought this would help me be more mindful The app is cumbersome and doesn t update the Fitbit app well Also I am a little disappointed there isn t an Apple Watch app There could be some great functionality and really make this useable If some of these changes I would happily rescind my poor rating should it meet quality expectations of course         Lacking functionality and app capabilities Jena510

April 4 Update it still doesn t give credit for all water consumed despite following the instructions And now it won t sync with my FitBit app either Not when I refill the bottle and not after midnight like it used to It doesn t even register in the thermos app when I ve refilled the bottle like it used to Very disappointed And how have I consumed 24 oz in 68955 minutes and 7 sips 1 star because that s the lowest I can go Original 2 star review Over the past couple of days I ve drank 4 full 24 ounce bottles but have not been credited for all ounces My first bottle today I was credited with 16 oz and the second bottle only 9 oz I drank the water near my phone Up until now it was working fine     Not recording all my water Kittydog313

There is not a manual entry for other liquids taken throughout the day This isn t a hydration monitor if you can t account for all your fluids including hot liquids which this can t handle as well as other liquids Contacted support and their suggestion was to manually track my other fluids throughout the day and later fill the bottle and dump it out Wasted my money on this and looking for a better solution It s a shame when a product doesn t meet your needs but it s worse when the company doesn t have a solution they are willing to address     Buy another device Richard2625

Great idea poor execution Pitiful app Doesn t keep accurate track of consumption Full bottles sometime register as 18 oz 20 oz and sometimes 24 oz or no registering at all Reminders rarely work and if it does give a reminder only when you open the app Now the app is stating a just filled bottle had 11 sips over 83563 minutes really When it doesn t register a bottle being consumed there is no way to manually enter the data Either hire a real app developer or allow others to make apps for your device If you don t take this basic step this product is doomed to failure     Pitiful Fluiddude 26

This is a great concept but I think an update is in order For the amount you pay for this bottle are a few tweaks that could make it worth the money One when it tracks the water I think it should be instant and not when you refill the bottle Two reminders I was hoping to get something that would pop up to help me take in more water I don t always have time to log into the app to see my progress A few upgrades will go along way I would love to give 5 stars Update I lowered the star rating as nothing has changed and no update since Aug I would love to give 5 stars but can t Please work on this It s too late to return this cup now         Love the concept needs an update its2good2betru
