So much for doing a little transit preplanning prior to my trip to NYC You can t open the app unless you are in the NYC area So much for trying to figure out public transit from the airport or train station prior to arrival Also no preplanning on getting from the hotel to the office and other destinations in the first few days On to looking at other apps Try letting it open allow for use outside NYC     Only Opens if you are in NYC Aggieland

Depending on your destination tells you when you need to leave your place to get to the metro bus of your choice without having to wait for it Other transit apps require you to calculate all the time needed to make it to the bus on time This app does it for you Recommended                 A good app LemmingGenius

I really like this app As a New Yorker I have tried various bus apps and this one is particularly accurate and helpful There are some ways it could be so much better tho Selecting your destination direction is not so intuitive and if it doesn t stay in the same order so if say it s between north and south one bus will put Harlem above Houston and another bus might put Houston above so it s not clear and can t be habitual Also if I need a bus and it can see where I am it should be able to make suggestions of buses near me Finally if I ask to see the M101 for example I should be able to see other buses along the same or similar lines and their timelines like the 102 103 Or the 14A and 14D etc these seem like obvious fixes but I m not in tech Otherwise I genuinely do use this app regularly and it makes my commute more predictable and allows me to make good use of time etc and it certainly blows others of its kind that I have seen out of the water                 Awesome 6271485020;7

It s an app that you can use to find out when the trains are scheduled and maybe it relies on SOME information about delays Right now I m waiting for the train that is 4 minutes late and the app marks it as train that s already left and it says there are no delays on the line So I don t believe it tracks the position of a train in real time However if that functional feature becomes a part of this app in the near future it can become the most useful app for New Yorkers that travel by mass transit             Good for telling scheduled time Kanavkina

Let s say the metric to optimize is average wait time at stops Part of that is estimating how long it takes to get from where you are to the stop You might be able to improve that by keeping track of how long it actually takes people Have an I m leaving now and a just got here button and keep track of statistics This can even be done independently for different routes a user takes                     Shady this is dope Couple of suggestions jll101
