Love the content but the interface can be a little quirky              Great resource

The amount of work it takes to get this set up is almost worth the resulting product but not quite Forced download to read no browsing or index or online preview before downloading Should be able to preview or browse before committing to store entire issue        Tedious to get going no browsing

This is one of the best apps I have ever used I can easily access any information I need including where to find the products needed for a project and where to find the best deals as well                 Love this app

Not what I expected This Old House is not about redecorating bathrooms and kitchens     Disappointing

Wish I had taken a close look at the reviews Support is nonexistent via email I dont have time in my busy day to call and sit on hold Cant seem to sign into the digital management area even after changing my password twice This is not PEBCAC I would have chosen to subscribe to the print edition and sign on to the digital as secondary if I knew it was this bad Will be canceling the digital edition after a year     Poorly made and managed

After reading the current issue of TOH I will not be interested in future issues Not like This Old Hose should be an Arts and Craftspublication Not much value for DIYers     This Old House

Love it when an app wont load until you upgrade to a non compatible program for the apple product you paid big bucks for My first gen iPad will not upgrade to accept the latest edition So guess Ill just kill trees instead     If only I had a newer IPad

I just ordered a three year subscription to this old house magazine and saw that the online version was free great I thought Not so fastthe online version forces full screen ads in your face every other page and some of the ads appear to have timers on them that you cant bypass forcing you to sit on an ad for 20 seconds before you can advance I understand companys want to make money but this is insulting Ill stick to the print verision they can shove this where the sun doesnt shine     Awful Stick to print version

This app works flawlessly I have a 1918 craftsman in need of significant work The how to articles and the featured remodels are great sources of information and insight into how to add value to our home              This Old House

So with the new issue the app wont let me move past the cover of the magazine because of the painting effect which I could care less about Now the app is stuck on that page even if I hard reset the app Fix please so I can get my fix     What the heck

I actually prefer this digital version of the magazine over the print version It contains nearly all the content of the paper version plus a few digital extras The design is snappy and clean                 Quite nice

I like that you can get access to online magazine without paying extra over subscription fee Only two downsides you can only have 1 magazine edition at a time downloaded and it doesnt change to landscape view on iPad Love that I can read before it even gets to my mailbox                 Great magazine fine app

Ive watched the show for 35 years since the first season Now for the first time I am enjoying the magazine on my iPad THO is something I cant get enough of                 Love the show but the magazine is even better

Since my family and I recently moved I into a very old home I thought perhaps This Old House magazine would be ideal for helping us learn how to adapt and make the best use of our home I attemptedmultiple times to download a free trial issue as is proudly touted on their app description and each time I was greeted with a huge blank white screen that all but obliterated the magazine that could be seen in the background The ONLY option was Sign In which of course requires an existing PAID SUBSCRIPTION Theres no option to preview the magazine nor to even create a new account should anyone be foolish enough to offer to pay for this without trying it I deleted this completely useless app and at this point I seriously doubt I would even go purchase a hard copy from a local store If the publishers cant even figure out that their app is useless why should I believe they know anything about home improvement or modification Bottom line The publishers need to get their heads out of their and figure out how to actually offer a free trial if they expect to garner new readers If here not interested in new readers then remove the free trial offer and offer a little truthinadvertising by declaring Paid Subscription Required Wish I could give it a halfstar COMPLETELY USELESS     Completely useless

Had the subscription for a couple of years on iPad but the iPhone app wont show my old issues Answer I got from the supervisor I didnt choose to get rid of the iPad You did How rude And this was after almost 2 weeks of emailing and nothing Ended up just calling was kept on hold for the most part of the 30 min call and the issue was still not fixed Got the sup and I thought great he prob will fix it But no Worst customers service ever Stay with the paper issue     Bleh

The ads can be a bit over the top However my gripe is that I cant access my digital issue because it prompts me to connect to iTunes for push notifications I dont use push notifications and do not intend to begin I cant access my digital edition because of this silly alert that can not be dismissed You can do better TOH     Push notifications

Have had subscription for many many years Trying to access digital editions has been a total disaster Cant access and since I have 2 homes dont want to carry a bunch of magazines to view articles Really rethinking even continuing magazine subscription     Frustrating

I still havent been able to sign in Even after This Old House sent me a confirmation code it would not let me set up a password so I can get in and use it Very frustrating     App doesnt work

TOH for iPhone looks great and is easy to navigate I can use the iPad version at home then use the iPhone as Im shopping              Beautiful App Newsstands a bit dodgy tho

I LOVE this app Ive had the magazines but all they did was take up space Now I have my entire collection downloaded on my iPad and its even greater because there are Tablet specials I can check out and videos too Thanks guys 5 star hands down                 Greatest thing since grape jelly
