After being trapped on the initial Loading screen a restart and then create a profile it crashed again Debug your applications before submitting them please     Seriously bugged

After playing great TBS games like Final Fantasy Tactics and Advance Wars stuff like this just doesnt cut it The UI is bland the controls are unnecessarily complex the gameplay is slow and the graphics are fair at best I would have given the game 3 stars but the chapter 2 sale that is supposed to be going on isnt working either and it still shows a 299 price        Not a very good TBS game

I was really frustrated at first because the game kept crashing and I kept dying But after the last update all of these problems were fixed and the game was challenging and fun It is similar to playing chess with the moves that you make I highly recommend it                 Great game

Fun addictive TBS game Ill give it 4 12 stars because its fairly short Cant wait for chapter 2 Great job guys Ok so chapter 2 released and their asking 299 and I just dont know if its gonna be worth it length wise Im gonna drop my rating to 3 12 stars for this reason I mean A buck for the original game and 3 for the next chapter not cool                 Great

I personally perfer real time simulation rather than turn based So my criteria for turn based sim is high And this game is does not make the cut The game is incomplete Tutorial is just text based No spoken dialog The game play moving units around is slow and tedious Graphics is amateurish        Needs improvement

Nice story Game play is rock paper scissors with other variables Wish they had an in game manual to help out this barrier of entry Once you experience your lumps and figure out whats what there is a very good tactical game here              Very nice tactical RPG

The only thing this game did for me was made me realize that this was a waste of money Also the enemiesespecially the heroesflee way too often When they flee you end up with a unit that is about to die because more enemies move a lot father than you and then attack you Then they use first aid and your hard work is just thrown away Also the enemies are so tough that they pose are threat even to your heroes The final bad thing that that is in this game is that you dont know which units are better against which units One of the good things about this game is that the fight animations are good but it should show all of the units attacking and defending Also congratulations there is a really good game buried under all of this garbage that these developers call a game so if they actually worked on this harder then this game might be worth 34 stars So dont buy until they update it but when they do I will look to see if they made it better worse or made minor bug fixes that werent even there in the first place So if you care about your money dont buy this just yet but maybe after a few updates it may be worth the money So dont waste your money unless like wasting money and claylike figures hitting each other So if you like that stuff go ahead buy it but of you value your money DO NOT BUY THIS GAME YET Key word yet because honestly there is a good game underneath this garbage of a game        Read this if you care about your money

Just bought chapter 2 Totally worth it You get to keep developing your team from chapter 1 This is a tough strategy game that requires a slow approach a lot of thought on positioning and careful use of units depending on their skills Besides chapter 2 the only in app purchase I made was the archmage one for a buck The game is beatable on normal difficulty with just this purchase You cant just rush in like real time war games you need to focus your assault sacrifice units when necessary to protect your hero and use a combination of spells Buy the archmage inapp extra for some great extra mana healing and damage spells You get three extras for a buck and this one really helps your mages Theres a rock paper scissors equivalent that gives an advantage to one unit type over another so choose your attacking units carefully The AI is pretty challenging and when it makes a dumb move youll be happy you have a chance to recover Protect your heroes with surrounding units the AI will ruthlessly pursue your heroes The only downside is the number of maps Bring it on developers Im ready for more Ill have to replay the entire game and try some different upgrades now that I know better whats important                 Classic turnbased strategy

Its a good game but there are better turn based strategy games out there For example battle for wesnoth or great little war game The graphics in Time of Heroes are good and the gameplay is good I found the gameplay to be boring compared to other turn based strategy games           Good game

After upgrading to 131 various graphics character images etc are appearing at 14 the size they should be I suspect an issue with nonretina graphics being rendered in spots where retina graphics should appear Gameplay is unaffected though A decent game worth the money spent           Graphics are no longer correct

When I first downloaded this APP I was not pleased The game would load the opening scene and then it crashed I could not get the game to run But after restoring my IPAD to factory settings and reinstalled it ran like a champ I have always preferred turn based strategy games This one is not bad My main complaint is that the only thing that levels up are the heroes and they can only use one item at a time I would like to be able to use at least two I would also like to be able to customize the individual units              Very Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this game It took a little getting use to to really learn the finer points and strategy but thats kind of what makes it so fun Its challenging Im not sure why some reviewers are complaining about not being able to beat a level without inapp purchases I finished the whole game and never felt like I needed to purchase anything although I would love to have some of those items I even completed levels being outgunned out leveled by the enemy Just had to try several times and use various attack strategies Overall loved it and cant wait for more new levels              Fun game Need the sequel

I guess this is the problem with buying games 1 the game is very amateur User Interface not well thought out for the iPhone Could be fun but the tutorial is horrible and I dont want to spend the 20 minutes it would take to just learn how to play        Amateur Game

The are not enough TBS games out there This one stands out as above average and worth playing I am looking forward to the second chapter                 A great TBS

My childhood came flooding back while I played the first two levels on iPad 2 plays flawlessly btw no crashes of an old sega classic called Warsong It plays almost exactly the same and the style being adapted to iOS has been done beautifully An exact warsong clone using this engine would be awesome Great game I got this for free but I will buy the second campaign and ill look into their other titles                 Nostalgia is a good thing

This has been one of the best games Ive bought The story and graphics are amazing The gameplay has tons to offer My only complain is that cost for chapter 2 is three times that of chapter one It is still great content but at an extremely high price I found what could be a minor mistake Once you start chapter 2 Oskar begins with the ranged commander ability when all his units are heavy That is a waste of two valuable skill points Could you fix that in the next update Thanks              Great game Expensive chp 2
