Bought the game a few months back and really enjoyed it all this time Grew up with rts games so it had a nice feel Never bought gems and Im glad I didnt since I just uninstalled Game requires a lot of commitment to get anywhere especially at higher levels Experience and rewards are sparse without investing in gems or hacking them in as a lot if players do Changing servers also resets your base to lvl 1 so choose a location wisely before committing to your base Pvp is fairly bland You either win by overwhelming others or lose to the same If you dont care for the losses its very community building but greatly increases the time it will take you to develop your basearmy Needs a better system than wait 3 hours to engage the active player base Plus if higher level players notice that they can face roll your base and loot you easily they will constantly attack you and prevent you from progressing I have experienced and participated in such attacks so join an active alliance and get to know people Losing half of your resources becomes frustrating when you need to wait daysweeks for enough to upgrade at higher levels In game events often require purchases to take advantage of the rewards Honestly the game isnt getting any better and is becoming a haven for trolls hackers and griefers Spending tenshundreds to compete with the more experienced been there longer players will be a big turn off for new people Save your money for better apps or games in the market that are actually worth the money Final note browsing through the other reviews makes it clear that many of the 5stars are made by sock puppets to inflate the rating Account names are gibberish and use poor engrish like the text in the actual game I bought the game because of the good reviews but I guess that was the companys plan inflate the rating to artificially put the game at the top of the charts If you like it play it Hack it if you can its more fun that way Get involved in the community and youll enjoy it a lot     Starts out great Oversaturated 5star reviews

this game used to be fun until the devs stopped caring what the players thought and just kept adding things for players who pay to win the game has become nearly impossible to play because it crashes almost every time you try to do something and the developers do nothing to stop it and instead keep implementing more ways to try and get you to spend money please fix the crashing issue and this game will be playable again     greedy devs horrible functionality

Btw this is the same review I just posted on the Tiny Wars XD app page as besides some visual differences the games appear the same to me I paid for and downloaded the XD after this regular version due to a glitch but the problem was not corrected as youll see below this is sort of a theme Anyway I realize that using the term addict implying that I love to play this game and a one star review may seen at odds but please allow me to explain I hope that this review is helpful to at least a few people Tiny Wars is a massive multiplayer online game centering on base building resource gathering and alliance making I wont go into esoteric details and I am sure people know the genre This is my first MMOG and also the first app EVER within which Ive made an in app purchase I can say unabashedly that Ive spent what most people would consider a lot of money on this game And yes while glitchy it crashes a lot imperfect and clearly created by people with a minimaltopoor grasp of the English language much of the gameplay is addictively fun if you like this kind of game There are both short term and long term goals while you build your base play a few poorly designed mini games go to war with fellow alliances and chat with some fellow players However the game has several MAJOR flaws that are sufficiently severe that I am discussing with my credit card company to determine if I have a case to dispute payment for my in app purchases The most significant flaw by far is that the game is OVERRUN by cheaters hackers who completely ruin the experience for legitimate players One of the central themes of the game as you might imagine is to build a strong army out of more and more powerful units Those willing to make in app purchases are given a modest boost w various promotions giving a larger boost to encourage people to spend Already this should be a red flag to most people And the developers are greedy with some promotions costing several HUNDRED dollars However while it is their prerogative to set pricing in a capitalist world far worse than being greedy based upon outlandish price structuring the developers then PERMIT blatant hackers who have forces that would literally cost 510000 to build These hackers can then rebuild thousands of units too if they become wounded while legit players must spend time collecting resources or real to speed the process along Despite coordinated efforts by myself and a large group of players other TW junkies it really IS addictive and I dont want that to be lost in this negative review to prove the cheating that occurs the development team when you contact customer service I have personally done 20 times with nothing to show has chosen to turn a blind eye and responded with very poorly written generic statements about looking into things etc If I was more of a conspiracy theory type I would have trouble not considering the possibility that the hacking cheating players are well known to the developers A central issue to the game is a lack of professionalism in the development team This is manifested by the poor English the very glitchy gameplay the fact that almost every improvement is some new type of unusual festival or scenario designed to try to get players to spend money on special items etc In contrast very infrequent effort goes into improving the user experience fixing glitches making the AI or chat system better making the in game map better to find other bases it is truly terrible and should be an impt part of an online strategy game etc So you definitely get the feel that this game was created by a group of young programmers crammed into an apartment somewhere who are focused entirely on and either blatantly allow or are not sufficiently sophisticated enough to prevent hacking players who truly make the game no fun for the large number of legitimate players So while I apologize for the length of this the bottom line is that this very unprofessional development team actually could have a hit on their hands For ALL of the problems here and there with Tiny Wars Ive focused on hacking bc its by far the most severe and impactful for gameplay the fundamental bones of the game are good If this was created by a professional outfit with high level support a focus on improving the gameplay from time to time instead if solely upon trying to encourage in app purchases Id be giving a 5 star review But for now until these issues are fixed Id recommend you stay away     Confessions of a Tiny Wars Addict

While this game can be fun the disparity between those who play for fun and those who play to upset others has created a hostile environment The game encourages higher level players to pick on lower levels Hackers have free gems and will attack legitimate players This will make you want to spend money Dont spend a dime High level players have multiple bases and you will regret the day you downloaded this game     Stat away

I recently got a new phone because my old one broke I assigned my account to my email and now every time i try and retrieve my account it tells me either my email is invalid or the password is invalid I liked the game but I am NOT starting over from level 10     Account got deleted

Developer help freinds to hack and reset peoples accounts if they hit their veitnamese hacking freinds     Stupid game

Its a great game and i had it since its release The new update is a good start to improve the clarity and smooth out the visuals The developers just need to fix how the base map and units are displayed in sync with how everything else Hackers and here and there and in large communities and it would be grey of everyone had an equal chance if doing well in it in contrast of being attacked multiple times and waiting hours for resources to be built up again so that you can progress Something has to be done about those hackers though              Its still fun to play but hackers

Game is very addicting However there are a group of people who dominate the game and they team up on the weaker people and take all of their resources On top of that your base defenses have been destroyed and all your resources are gone The game makes it to hard to get battle medals which is the major way you recover your troops and build your base up The only way to do well is to literally purchase gems from the game Game is very time consuming and almost impossible to do well with out having to purchase gems from the game        Dont waste your time
