Together for iOS

Just purchased to use with my desktop app and it was a huge mistake 1 Cannot access the library on Dropbox seriously what app nowdays does not have Dropbox access So I had to move my library to iCloud 2 Once I moved my library to iCloud I cannot open on my desktop or iPad as they both crash after opening Oddly it works fine on the iphone No notification or announcement from the author on twitter terrible customer service Ill be extremely weary of purchasing and Apples Editors Choice ever again     DO NOT BUY

Together is a really promising appservice but this mobile app is alpha quality at best I have a very small library in iCloud on the desktop app and Ive been struggling to get the mobile app to download its contents for more than half an hour now When I try to Rebuild from iCloud I get stuck on the Opening iCloud Library screen indefinitely I dont fully regret purchasing this app because Im confident that it will improve with time but for now if you plan to sync with an existing iCloud library its literally unusable     Alpha quality

I dont think I have ever tried to make an app work as hard as Ive tried to make Together work I love the concept of Together and the app has a beautiful design that is a pleasure to look at But the sad truth is that syncing simply does not work and that makes the app pretty much useless to me I had many email exchanges with the developer And to his credit he very patiently tried very hard to help me out But in the end the solutions ended up not working or only working for a short time And inevitably the iOS apps would stop syncing I am still holding out hope that these issues will be fixed in a future version But I am also not too optimistic because after all the back and forth and the many failed attempts at applying supposed fixes it is pretty clear at least to me that the problem is that this app is simply too complex to be synced through iCloud And Im not sure the developer is prepared to tackle implementing his own sync solution Ill keep checking back to see if there are any updates that fix this issue But for now Ill have to forego Together on my iPad     Fantastic Concept Failed Syncing

I wish Apple would do a better job at eliminating apps that are clearly not ready What a waste of money     Great Idea Horrible Execution

This app is clearly not ready yet and should never have been approved After wasting a couple of days trying to get the iCloud syncing to work I have had to delete the app     Not ready

Really pretty app thats plagued by awful syncing Ive tried everything to make this work with the desktop version but its just not reliable The developer blames iCloud but thats a cop out I have over 2000 tagged records in the Day One app with hundreds of attached photos and it ALL syncs via iCloud across every one of my devices 3 Macs and 2 iOS devices without issue iCloud works if you know what youre doing What a shame Update after losing my data for the third time I give up Avoid this app and its OS X counterpart A paper notebook is better In short garbage     Sigh

This app has become a sadistic black joke I download each update hoping not that it will fix problems but that it will actually WORK No such luck This last update leaves me with a totally nonworking app Add a note it disappears Try to rebuild the database from the cloud the app goes into a black hole busy spinner spinning away merrily forever nothing ever happens Try opening the only library I have and there goes the Opening iCloud Library spinner nada     Youre kidding right

Im not sure how this happened but I bought in hook line and sinker buying all three desktop iPad iPhone apps on the understanding that these would sync without an issue As you can see from all of the reviews we were deceived Pony up give money back Steve Harris whoever you are     Bamboozled

When I first downloaded the app it crashed constantly The developer was responsive and after a few email exchanges I was able to stop the crashing Unfortunately the app has never synced across any of my other devices Again the developer did respond but the proposed fix was this update that does not resolve the issue It simply is not a good thing when an application does not work as promised from the beginning The app is not useful to me if I cannot sync my libraries I feel the developer rushed the mobile app version to market and it is not ready for prime time I do not appreciate paying full retail price to be a beta tester Save your money and skip purchasing this buggy app     Does Not Sync Do Not Purchase

I was looking for an Evernote replacement and was hoping this app on iOS and on my desktop would satisfy my needs It does not work Nothing The sometimes buggy desktop doesnt seem to work well with iCloud The developer seems to have released this app on iOS prematurely The iCloud synching does not work at all Period None of my projects appear on my iPad nor my iPhone Im worried about the safety of my documents on both platforms so Im abandoning this app till the developer releases a few more stableusable updates Very disappointing UPDATE Im amending my above review I originally gave this App 1 star but also emailed the developer with my concerns and problems and he was responsive and address my issues After some troubleshooting with his assistance on my end I got ICloud and the app to behave and its working now This app is a good idea I hope he continues to develop it and root out the issues with ICloud which may be difficulties hes having via Apples servers Perhaps its not really really ready for prime time but Im willing to stick with it and support him to see where he takes it           Wait for a few updates Maybe actually work

Update review Still lots of glitches crashes limited utility As it is there really isnt much use for this betatype app The update did very little to help this app It did start the review count over for them however Initial review I just bought this for ten bucks wow what a deal I have been playing with it for about 30 minutes and it has crashed out twice and frozen the iPad once latest iPad up to date IOS At this rate Ill never be able to appreciate whatever the app can do because of the time required rebooting my iPad and having to restart the app I also have the MAC app and have had to pay TWICE for it and it is full of bugs too major update charge last year yeah right v2x was great but v3x not so much but you cant go back to v2x These apps have both got a good idea behind them but having more bugs than a swamp in a jungle renders them useless to me I now have 90 invested in Together and am going to finally throw in the towel and cut my losses Im convinced they just cant get it done     Quality Control

Responsive developer but after 3 half days of trying he gave up The app looks great but it is way to buggy and syncing is not working Hoping for an update which will fix all of this and am regretting having spend so much money on a product which is not working form me at all Even devonthink syncs better then together back to Evernote it is           Sync does not work

I love the idea of this app I havent had syncing issues everyone else has had but it is really slow It doesnt have a great image previewer just lists the file names which is useless And it doesnt have a pass code lock on it to keep it private You can encrypt individual items but not an entire library Otherwise it has a ton of promise and an amazing feature set for organizing about any kind of file you can think of           I really WANT to give it more

I have been looking for an app that allows me to organize my documents and share them across all my documents Together does it well but crashes frequently I look forward to exploring it more as it becomes more stable              Excellent features needs bug fixing

This app gets two stars for concept appearance and hope Hope that one day Together will become useful This synchronizing across devices must be a difficult thing to do Aside from Evernote doo tried and gave up DEVONtechnologies has been syncing between macs now for a year and yet they seem to be holding back their upgraded release for iOS Will Together be the app that succeeds in allowing users to organize and share their documents across all our devices Reviews can be brutal but I hope the developer will stick with his concept and work through the glitches to all our benefit        Not for the faint of heart

I have been an avid user of Together for OS X for years and absolutely love the program on the Mac The IOS companion programs simply dont sync properly resulting in very frequent crashes and the likelihood of lost data If you do buy this program consider yourself a paying beta tester and do not entrust any data you cannot live without to it The developer has not been particularly supportive either     Does not sync crashes when importing NOT READY

Bugs in both the ios and Mac OS Cant get it to sync constant crashing     Fix the bugs

It is a tragicomedy I never gotten it to worksync successfully Updated its pure junk It doesnt work If you like watching 20 min of spinning bars superimposed over a cloud to open a library with 8 items you should buy this Subtract one star from this review for the actual rating     Stay away from this app

Still a complete waste of money Importing causes app to crash syncing causes app to crash app crashes randomly on its own Its virtually unusable Shame cause it looked like a great concept but it appears shoddy coping got me to drop money on a broken app     Worthless

It is the app that a lot of old fogies like me have been looking for An app to replace Yojimbo that isnt Evernote And Together is so close to being that app First off I got an iCloud error the first one I tried to sync While that is disappointing it is not the main problem There is a confusing syntax issue For example I created a folder named travel That folder is listed on the main page under groups I could create a group too What is the difference Who knows The same issue comes up with tag bundles and labels Not sure why the different is or why it matters If the syncing worked and the app was a little simpler it would be perfect I bought it and will follow its updates to see if the developer can pull it off           I wish this app was great

Updated this morning When I launched the app there were no items in my library all is wiped clean I tried everything quit and relaunch several times shut down and restarted iPhone nothing worked Then updated the Mac app with the updated version that came out also today restarted and gave it time to sync with iCloud then restarted Together on the iPhone and still no items in my iPhone library One of the problems with this app in addition to endless crashes and errors on the Mac is that the user is not given any control You cannot disconnect and reconnect to iCloud you do not have a choice to back up your library to a location of your choice then recover from back up if needed This is the last straw for me     update wiped out everything

It does the job Thank you please continue the great work I jumped ship from NoteLife Chronos Notes combo              This works
