Id like to see iCloud saves so I can play on both iPhone and iPad              iCloud saves please

Its so amazing to be able to play this game again One of my favorites as a kid The only thing that is a problem for me is the controls Especially the one for moving It would be so much better if turning and running could be swifterespecially turning              Pretty good

Message to devs fix the save issue Ill return my rating to 5 I got halfway through the game 3 times now and then it lost all my saves Had to start over from beginning Why does it lose my saves     Save issue needs fixed

Just like the original Once you get used to the controls its great Except for the fact that the screen keeps going black at certain points throughout the game had to start the game over several times because of this got to the mines and it happened wont be starting from the beginning again Done with this game Completely ruined it for me hence the one star     Was great until black screen

Tried to run on both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air but it crashes every time at the end of the intro movie Tried jumping to menu and it crashes as soon as you make a choice At least I only wasted 99c     Crashes every time

Like many others the game froze when I used the golden key Screen is all black     Game Freeze

I cant get past the first level with these controls Very frustrating     Bad contols

I reach the fourth level and the game is broken the path to the right should be open but there is a locked door This is not part of the original game and no way to get passed it not even level skip because no cheat codes The end of the third level is as far as I can complete in this game Please fix           Cant Finish

Man this game is flawless besides the touch controls They should definataly make this a ps4 import as well LOVE THE TEXTURES AND FRAMERATE D                 Bravo Just Bravo haha

I was skeptical about this app Im a huge Tomb Raider fan and when I was younger my father and I would play this game all the time I read the reviews and I knew I had to try this out Great buy This game is awesome and the graphics are actually pretty good                 Great game

Ive gotten used to the controls but I dont know how to make Lara let go from a ledge Ive tried pressing down and the action button together but it doesnt work so Im literally stuck on the colosseum level Please help                 I love it but

There is a glitch in level 9 that doesnt allow Lara to shimmy to the platform I need to get to Its in the room where the two gorillas are and the shimmy spot is above spikesI cannot progress in the game until I can move Lara to the ledge              Glitchotherwise very awesome

I love tomb raider since I was a preteen However I was highly disappointed when my save disappeared Furthermore I had saved later in the game but then when I loaded the save it loaded from a place EARLIER in the game What a waste of time And why does she walk when the walk button is not on Please fix immediately     Saves and controls disaster

Just like original game Love playing it but it absolutely will not save my progress Not playing again till an update fixes this     Very disappointed

I always saved throughout my game Made it through to level 7 when one day I went to play and it lost my entire game I tried to restart and now it looses my game every time and wants to start a whole new game Please fix ASAP I was so excited to find this gem and now I cant play unless I want to start over every time        Lost Saved Game

I personally dont get what all the fuss is about I absolutely love it Its perfection I could not be more happier Tomb raider 1 is by far my favorite game and favorite tomb raider of them all I hope to see more of these classics in the App Store soon Believe me I already bought tomb raider 2 and I love that as well great great job at a reasonably price I can now play it anywhere                 ANY TOMB RAIDER FAN MUST BUY

Since the previous version I had problems with the saved games Even with the new update I still have the same problem It saved the game when the game is to get back deleted and have to start from scratch Please Fix it I want to finish the game and I can not     Update problems

This is one of my favorite games I was amazed by it when I played it back in the 90s Its awesome having it on my phone but it has controller interface issues You may not think so at first but then Laura will start walking when you want her to run and run off the cliff when you really dont want her to commit suicide And you wont be able to flip around while jumping backwards like you could in the original which makes a secret or two impossible to get The controls are so bad I cant get out of the colosseum basement literally impossible with these control issues on a phone     Classic game with horrible control issues

So I bought this game thinking itd be great I watched the opening cinematic great I started a new game Now things mess up Its been a while since I started playing it but I think the scene Cafe happened after the Peru mountain level for me which I didnt even get to play all the way through I played the beginning of the mountain level the first and I get to the cave that is shown when readjusting controls But I had to put the game down for a while so I closed the app I come back and no game was there yes I realized I forgot to save but when I started a new game it was completely off The Cafe scene showed but right after went straight to falling into the cave with the panthercatfeline statues and the trap door Back up I dont remember anything leading to that when I played it I have now tried several times to start a new game and the same thing happens no Peru mountain scene or level I read through the reviews on here and seems I may be the only person experiencing this Overall good so far controls need tweaking and please check the coding for the level and test things through I am going to try deleting the app and redownloading maybe a glitch instead of coding           First Level Doesnt Appear Anymore

This is a great port of the original game and with the extra levels from the Macpc version So much joy                 Very well done

But keeps crashing on iPhone 5s every time I try to play I cant really give a good review based on gameplay     Brought back memories

I loved this app Tomb Raider was my favorite game as a kid and I hadnt played in years I was getting the last lead bar in the palace midas level and the next day when I opened the game to finish the level the save file was gone Now I have to restart from the coliseum level        Save file was deleted

Updated Review 113 I wanted to follow up on my review The game is still great but had the disappearing save issue and noticed some other reviewers were having the same issue so its more than a fluke I have yet to experience this on iPhone but noticed it on iPad I would save my game but when I reopened the app the save would delete itself which is a huge problem I originally thought it was because I was trying to use 3rd party support to salvage my save but this was not the case it appears Ill need to backup my save faster to prevent this My original review still applies but I took off a star for the save game bug Original Review I was a little skeptical on how this port would turn out but after playing a few levels its actually pretty decent and ran well The graphics look pretty great there are some flicking glitches here and there nothing game breaking yet The controls are a little iffy but manageable there are much worse out there not sure if game pads work in this but would be great if they did There is the black screen issue I had it happen once when I tried to use a key I had to reload a save so save often and once again when I cleared a level it just went to the next level didnt get to see my stats which isnt a big deal but should still be looked into Other than that Im pretty impressed I went ahead and immediately downloaded Tomb Raider 2 bring on 3Chronicles and gives me hope that more Square PSX games can make a good transition like this Xenogears perhaps Keep up the good work Square           A pretty solid port Update 113

This game is great because it is the original I like that because since I have been playing the new ones its cool to play the old one The only problem is the controls I get really frustrated because of all the different stuff you have to do Other then that its a really fun game I would recommend it              Great but

My favorite series of all time Please release the other 3 PSX versions Tomb Raider 3 The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider Chronicles                 Outstanding Both Versions 1 2

Graphically it is perfect Some improvements in the textures but otherwise it looks like the original engine The controls are difficult on an iPadonly but combined with an external controller it is absolutely a joy to play People might complain about the controls but remember that this was one of the very first games if not the first that had third person camera The later versions were more responsive You can see some of those improvements in the Tomb Raider II port done by these guys I really cant imagine them improving on this game Just leave it the way it is A true classic and at a very reasonable price I get way more enjoyment out of this game than all the weird buy a bag of coins to play this level games in the App store I wish more developers would put out quality titles and just charge more for them Honestly I wouldnt have minded paying 10 bucks for this It is just so much fun                 Awesome Port

Yes the iPad controls require some getting used to But despite that the game plays very well and looks as good as it did for its time when I first played it as Gold back in the 90s Miss Laras Ahha when stumbling across secrets though Cant beat the price Looking forward to replaying the next in the series                 Brings Back Memories

So Im an old fan returning to the series and I love this game The only thing that I absolutely hateis the controls I really want you to do something about the controls I mean its understandable in the 90s but in 2015 you could at least modify them And the same goes for the second game too please modify them both I just cant stand the controls the way they are                 Great

It worked perfectly until I got to the part where you try an enter the stones into the wall at place Midas It will go to the menu and wont let me choose the stone to put it in        Palace Midas problems

ive been having a nasty glitch that deletes my save the only save that actualy works is the auto save the normal save deletes my progress another thing ive noticed is that if u try to flip a switch before lara completly stops the game goes into a black screen              the game is great just has some glitches

Doesnt matter how many save files I create in a day or two they are deleted     Keeps deleting save files

I like the storyline and gameplay environment but the controls are absolutely HORRENDOUS Did the people porting the game not think at one point that they should maybe use an analog control scheme If you can get past the controls then I would recommend it but if not then do not waste your 99 cents on this        Good game terrible controls

I love this game Love the original games in the series as well as some of the newer ones but i agree with everybody on the controls issue Im currently having a hard time right now with a puzzle thats extremely easy to do on the ps1 version The dpad controls on this version are ridiculous It gets really hard to turn her at times and there are other times she begins to walk instead of running I dont think she needs to be walking at all if u dont have the walk button activated That part gets annoying especially with the sliding gate puzzle in the coliseum level Im having a hard time getting her to run and turn quickly in those doors to get thru the puzzle It would be nice if the controls be fixed better She should only walk with the walk button activated Please and thanks              Controls

The graphics look better than the screenshots The story is good and the gameplay is oh so good and the ambient infused lush environments are spectacular Not necessarily realistic but surprisingly immersive The controls have a steep learning curve You can customize the controls with what works for you Laras Home in the main menu has a good control tutorial And if all else fails get a MOGA game controller Saving is kind of funky so use multiple slots there is no level select and sometimes the cutscenes glitch out and auto save making you stuck indefinitely so once again be sure to use multiple slots The end of level stats dont keep track of secrets found but they are still there The Unfinished Business expansion is included featuring bonus levels If you buy this game for 1 separately from the 5 bundle threepack you can Complete My Bundle later for 4 but the bundle says limited time so better off to stock up while you can This game is huge and at times very challenging but always seems to be extremely fun I just beat it in 12 hours so making my way to Tomb Raider II See you on the flipside SQUARE ENIX 5 Stars for you my friend for making such a superb rendition of a classic masterpiece a reality on iOS thx                 Archaeological Explorers Paradise

This is a really well done port The only problem I have is that it can be hard to make Lara turn left or right as she is running A better dpad would help this Nice job giving the game HD textures and including the unfinished business expansion                 A gem needing some refinement

I have manually saved often during the game and it loads just fine but when I put my iPad to sleep for the night and I restart the next day there is no load option This has happened 4 times already and square Enix online support just told me to delete and reinstall the app and to restart the iPad which I have done and it STILL does not work I will be seeking a refund The game is not worth your time unless you play straight through the game in one sitting and your app doesnt crash     Does not save
