Was a 5 star audio testing utility prior to its update which has severely crippled the functionality and usability experience making a simple task like a Tone Sweep cumbersome and annoying Check out Signal Generator by Media Punk Studios for a fantastic audio testing utility which closely resembles this applications interface before it was updated and destroyed     Do not purchase and or apply the update 'Austin'

Review I wrote several years ago Took a job teaching physics where there was not much equipment to work with Needed a wave generator for sound demos This worked great Review now Hadn t used the app in a while It used to be a great app to demo resonant frequency of a tube by using the wheel sweep function Opened it up in front of my class not aware of the re design and found it now totally unusable with the new interface Disappointing and embarrassing     How Embarrassing Classroom Tool Jonesy56

The functionality of this app is somewhat impaired by its UI Although the oscilloscope like circle is nice to look at changing the frequency generated should be easier than changing the individual digits There is no reason ever to change the digits individually over just entering a different number for the frequency             Fix the UI Master Zeng

I didn t purchase this app to be entertained I purchased it as an on the go alternative to my arbitrary function generator in situations where a little ad hoc trouble shooting was needed Unfortunately the author doesn t seem to understand what the app is used for Instead of a simple functional instantly comprehensible interface they chose to implement a gimmicky childish video game esque magic wheel which bounces and spins like a ship s compass in the Bermuda Triangle If the UI is revised to something an adult would find less vexatious in the middle of a testing session I would be happy to write a more favorable review     Gimmicky UI rwizard

Now its interface lacks the frequency sliders and sweep wheels that made the app so easy to use before the update Please lose the scroll menu in the parameters section and utilize the screen size The sliders in the parameters section act only as indicators to which frequency is selected forcing the user to use the number wheels and navigating number wheels in a scroll menu wastes time Time is spent correcting accidental changes to the number wheels that were made trying to scroll than actually using the app for frequency sweeps Please bring back the frequency sliders and sweep wheel and get rid of the scrolling parameter menu Thank you Love the additional functions and new options of the upgrade miss the intuitive interface from the old version         Used to have a great interface BlendM0dez

I have an Ipad2 and a 4s phone They rewrote the app software and decided that my Apple devices were too useless to include in their world They work fine for me and I ll get another tone generator from another developer that doesn t think they should make their apps incompatible to long time users One star is one too many for this developer     Irresponsible software update Jetutt

This was a nifty little utility until the latest update which dropped support for my third generation iPad Was there really a good reason to do this to your installed base     1 star for dropping compatibility with old devices edhorch

This app was wonderful before the update I loved being able to run 2 Hz to check all my wiring was correct But now the lowest it can go is 20 Hz The update also deleted the sweeping and octave tools The new interface might look nice but I would have preferred the old Interface to this one I gave it two stars because it was and still is a great app but they shouldn t have fixed what wasn t broken         Bad update Dmarcrum
