Toodledo - To Do List

I use both the webbased product and the iPhone app Both are excellent Rich feature set very flexibleversatilesynchronization works and nice user user interface                 Excellent

GTD and that is usually enough But this has all the customizations you would want If I could enlarge the app icon to take up more space I would because I use it so much                 Favorite app

I can use Siri to take a reminder and then toodledo automatically adds it to my list and delete the reminder I used to paid version for a bit but now I just use the free version and that works fine No reason for me to look for any other app                 Still using it after many years

It is a great app if you are looking for something based on David Allens GTD Unlike other unreasonably expensive GTD apps out there toodledo is very customizable with contexts and folders You can customize what you want to see which fields you want to see and even sort it at 3 levels This app for pro GTD folks and is a hidden gem among GTD apps There is a lot of power that you can unleash from this app and really streamline your life This app also has a bonus feature which no other GTD app offers outlines Outlines are really great if you are brainstorming and working on your next big idea Unlike other GDP app toodledo gives you free cloud sync across all devices and browsers Try it out This app is really great                 No compromise GTD app

I really like how userfriendly and how fullfeatured this task manager is I also appreciate the intuitive updates and the frequency of them The developers are obviously dedicated to continually improving the user experience                 Toodledo

For some reason I cant use this anymore It crashes on startup even after I shutdownpower up the phone Help Im using iOS 82     Crashes all the time now

Why cant the notes feature have the same sharing functionality as tasks        Good could be better

I have tried many task tracking apps and would say that this one meets all my needs and more If I could make one improvement it would be to add the ability to add a note attachment or field to a habit logging event Thanks for the great app                 Very useful and userfriendly

Latest update continues to have syncing problems Dates still not working right Stick with the To Do and Notes part of the appthe others just complicate an already great app cause issues when you produce new versions like the date problem Fix the date issue will be back to 5 stars                 Fixed syncingthanks guys

See below for comments about the iPhone app Regarding the watch app this is a great example of developers rushing to put something out there and not doing it well The watch app is truly useless The glances screen only shows the count As an example it could have shown the top three most important tasks due today Speaking of which dont expect to see your to do list for today on the watch The app will only show you the hotlist And if you dont use start dates that list will include anything in the future youve set a due date for even if you cant do it now ex to call someone on his birthday Even if you add start dates tedious data entry if you dont otherwise need them you still cant see much of the task descriptions when you open the watch app I cant even make use of it and its really frustrating ToodleDos web page is excellent iPhone apps good features Comprehensive options for what fields to include Very flexible sorting far better than most task apps iPhone apps failings No multitask edit Design makes lists look cluttered Wish list A feature to see calendar at the top of a list before todays tasks I much prefer Pocket Informants method of incorporating reminders You see and edit them without importing them and you can optionally migrate any of them to PI which will then sync them with ToodleDo           Excellent online iPhone app less so watch app terrible

Both my iPhone and iPad are slower after the most recent update 8312015 My available resources jump from 36 to over 80 when I launch the app Thats not a device specific issue which is what app support tried telling me Ive switched to accessing the service through my web browser on my iOS devices for now which works fine just a little frustrating Still a decent service and a new update will probably fix the problem in a month or two        Slow after latest update

Ive downloaded almost all the todo apps on the store and this one wins I have my todos and notes available and in sync on PC iPhone and iPad The app is rock solid never crashes and the sync requires zero attention and everything Just Works If you want the app can be simply used asis as a todo tracker a habit tracker or else under the covers there are a wealth of options and customizations to tweak the app for hardcore GTDGSD applications and methodologies This is the benchmark other apps have to measure against                 Really good todo and notes managment

Looked a long time for replacement for Todomatrix Finally found something thats as flexible has a great web client and can do alerts on my phone I can finally relax                 A great find

A colleague at work was nice enough to share this gem with me I have tried many apps prior but this wins on many levels I use this app and desktop version daily This has become not only my todo list it has become my goto for keeping an organized layout of various projects and deadlines and is the first thing I review each morning The pros to me are integration of the desktop and phone app integration with the Reminders app on your iPhone and ability to push notifications If you are hesitant to buy the app I would highly recommend trying the free trial on the desktopbrowser version I tried and ultimately bought the Gold package                 The best

Toodledo has always been my goto task manager and to do list Now that Im getting back into managing my to do list and my tasks and projects Im going to be using it more and more I highly recommend it for iPad users and anyone for that matter It stands above all the other to do list and task managers Believe me Ive tried them all Now that theyve added the ability to set and track habits and goals it makes Toodledo even better You cant go wrong with this app                 A tried and true great app

Toodledo is open to tons of other programs like Informant and syncs almost flawlessly Like being able to do heavy duty work on computer light editing on iPad or iPhone Tags and stars give you great flexibility New habits section is off to a great start                 Great openness and cross platform capabilities

The original works everywhere task manager Has a lot of flexibility but really needs more general task relationships of any depth              Generally good but needs more depth

Easy to use Keeps me on track to tick off those to dos Syncs and works seemlessly across all devices I especially love the Habits function which replaced all of those alarmed reminders                 Great App I use every day

Toodledo is a simple effective tool for prioritizing and acting on tasks I love having the ability to enter tasks with context using GTD methodology Additionally the automatic locating feature works great Works well with iOS6 too I am able to enter a task in about 1015 seconds by using my microphone on my iPhone This ability to enter tasks quickly on the go has made the tool extremely useful for me Being able to access my to do list online also is a huge plus The iPhone app and the online feature have made Toodledo a very easytouse program This is resulted in it being very addictive My productivity has definitely increased The support is tremendous Jake seems to pick up my concerns and respond within hours I get a personal email back to me with suggestions to resolve an issue Toodledo works exceptionally well within the GTD construct The recently added lists habits tools are also well done These features coupled with responsive support have won me over This is a great tool                 Simple Effective

Update 3302015 I still love the app but recently I find I cannot add a task from my iPad Ive used this app and associated web interface for a couple years I like that it syncs between all my devices apples mobile apple desktop PC desktop I most often use the folders and the stars to separate tasks I also use the notes for detailed info on various subjects It has always worked flawlessly              Easy to use and keeps me organized

Toodledo is handsdown the best selfmanagement tool I can find I dally with other things but always come back And this app is so great it brings the full experience of the awesome online app to your phone I dont think there is a single missing or compromised feature here you get full Toodledo power in the app and that is a big deal                 Solid and capable

This is hands down the best tasks app Just a couple of improvements needed though to bring it in line with all the others The sort options and the customization are fantastic Needs 1 Option to include overdue tasks on the today filter Timesaver 2 When I complete a repeating task both the completed task and the new tomorrow task stay on the screen for a long amount of time before disappearing Even if hide completed is selected and only viewing the Today filter I have to go to a different view and come back for this to clean itself up Thanks and look forward to these fixes           Great app just a couple of suggestions

Ive tried several todo apps and this one is the gold standard My assistant at work and I use it like a bible The Watch app is pretty lame but was a first effort and written when the development team did not even have a working watch In my long long experience with Toodledo they will refine the Watch App shortly and then improve it bitbybit forever This is a great company with a great product                 The best todo app out there

My wife and I try to use this as a shared shopping list by using the same log in The reason is because iftttcom will work with Toodledo Unfortunately the app doesnt sync well or often enough Even when we arent shopping together it wont update the other device The items she marked off last week are still listed in my app today It needs to sync each time there is any change Until then is a waste of time and more liability than it is help        Does not update well across multiple devices

I love this app organizes my whole life and it works well with all my devices iphone 6 ipad home PC and work PC I pay 2900 per year but worth a lot more                 amazing productivity tool

By far the best GTD or alternative to do app The web interface and iOS app are improving and becoming more complete and integrating a to do list outline and notebook functionality Very flexible and can be modified to meet my needs I have used it for 6 years am on the paid subscription and find it invaluable with amazing support and responsiveness to problems or questions                 Still the best

This is a great to do task tracker It syncs well and across devices You can also access it on the web The only beef I have is that it doesnt have good support for Projects and subtasks for paid subscribers Come on ToodleDo                 Very flexible and widely supported Syncs great

In general this is a good app It does what its supposed to do and provides the features available on the webpage Thats commendable Its also been steadily improving with more obvious syncing updates for iPhone 6 screens iOS 8 etc Still there is room for improvements Ill offer three 1 Background syncing My biggest peeve is that syncing isnt done in the background When the app syncs everything stops Id like to have task updates sync with each change but thats not possible since I cant do anything else but wait the few seconds the app hangs Id love to see this improved 2 Pull down to sync Currently to manually sync I have to go to the settings page to activate the sync It seems intuitive to just force the sync when the screen is pull down Theres the rubber band effect already today but it doesnt do anything 3 Professional notification alarms Unless the focus of the app is to keep track of childrens tasks or that of a comedian or clown the choices are really poor Id love to see more professional and subtle alarms that can be used in a business setting Thanks           Much to like but has room for improvement
