This app is worthless for what I wanted it for theres a storm in the area tonight so I thought I would try the app but every time it try to use the live radar or anything that has a map and motion it closes the app and it does it every time I tried shutting the phone off and restarting it and deleted the app and reinstalled the app and nothing works this needs to be addressed and fixed until then its a failure Worthless
I watch KCCI news everyday and this is the best app Iowa
If there is a really bad storm like right now for me anyways it just to a gray screen on the radar this is a terrible app I need something i can rely on if a really bad storm is comeing This app is so bad

What is a point of a tornado app that doesnt show real time tornado warnings All TV channels show a tornado on the ground and the app says no watches or warnings Not reliable It doesnt update with tornado warnings
Unfortunately this app should NOT be used for watches or warnings Needs to be reworked Not user friendly nor is it up to date Help This could be so much better Do not use

Wish they would send severe weather notifications when they happengoing to happen I didnt receive Push notification for the severe thunderstorm warning did not show up Review
Totally worthless Sirens went off to I looked to the app for information and no current info The KCCI news app was equally useless Id give 0 stars if possible

Tornados on the ground reported on the channel but turn to the app and expect to see the same coverage so you can stay up on what is happening Nope You get old taped information and news When storms are happening people need the info now not your commercials just share the weather information You own the content stream it out like you promote every day Contact the FCC and push for FM chips to be enabled so you can get live information in an emergency Apps like this could work but the owners need to care enough to make sure they do what they saw Dont count on this when a storm comes
This app is useless because the radar doesnt update so I cannot trust the rest of its data being up to date Radar does not update CAN NOT TRUST

Im not sure WHAT the comment is about Iowa not getting many tornadoes We get a LOT every year This app could be very valuable However I find that I need a bit more confidence it is aware of my location since theres not setting or permissions evident to set or GPS in on My assumption is the feature is keeping track of the local device but not sure The app crashes a lot when switching between primary features MapsAlerts to Live or News to MapsAlerts If they can fix these crashes itll let me have a proper walk around this app and judge its actual merits For now 1 star due to bugs Good potential but crashes
Barely used Went to look at radar and it crashed Restarted and it crashed again Expect better from KCCI Crashes
