I have been PC user all my life Using Finder when I moved to Mac a few weeks ago was not a joy However Total Manager proved to be a superhero an efficient intuitive and user friendly app                     Helpful app Baby is coming

For one buck it is OK as an archival tool compression decompression multiple formats encryption But it is pretty clumsy as an archive manager the interface is weird and unresponsive shortcuts fail to work intermittently only means of navigating directories is through file dialogs and a long list of unfinished stuff The functions are there but they are so poorly implemented that the experience of using them is misery Two stars one for cheap sale price another for archive tool         OK archiving tool but clumsy file manager the sheep are speaking

There are so many double panel file manager in the market but this one has it s unique advances the archiver It s support so many format which is great but the rest is not so well it can t lock the tab the bookmark always disappear accidently can t arrange the files in groups blah blah So I give 4 stars just for the great archiver                 Great archiver but the rest is not so convenient wiseberg

Good application for file management Still rough on the edges For example the placement and size of the window is not preserved between launches When the application launches it starts about the middle of the screen left side Some of the conventions are a surprising the info preview window closing is unintuitive It does the work The shortcuts are not consistent with Norton Commander from which the applications draws some inspiration             Like the double pane file view mark_northeast

ok i guess most Finder esque features are redundant if you own TotalFinder but if you only use AppStore programs and are looking for a SFTP client then it s handy                 Clunky but a worthy AppStore purchase blazinkee

I bought this app hoping to replace finder as finder is good but just falls short First off I really like this app and where it is going I would only like to see some more basic functionality that i think is missing like having the ability to disply a photo s dimensions the ability to open multiple files with a non default app today that work s great if highlighting a single photo but not with multiple I would be suprised if they are not further developing so that is why i like and am optimistic about this app                 A great platform David@OC

I come from a mostly Windows environment and then bought my first iPad a few years ago and now except for my desktop I have 2 ipads an iphone and a Macbook Pro and I love them That is until I started using the file system on the Macbook Pro Icccck To say the least I need to move and organize files a lot and I need to do so efficiently as I make money doing so Total Manager has without question improved upon the MacBook Pro experience if not making optimal making much better the file handling system in this operating system Well worth the money spent to accomplish this I give it 4 stars not 5 only because Windows despite years of quality futility has managed to develop a better file management system than Apple and it is not Total Manager s fault as it must work within the system but it is not quite as good as what I find on my Windows 7 computer but much better than what was native on the MacBook Pro which I otherwise adore So 4 stars in that context 5 stars otherwise I can recommend this program as it improves a core need that is otherwise lacking and is definitely the better solution to file manager than is Finder                 Definitely the better solution TinkerB2

I love this app but unfortunately I cant leave this program open as for some reason it is constantly accessing my hard drive and keep my screen from going to sleep So I have to dock it a couple stars             Good app but has a major flaw for me Candercander

Well I migh not be fully understand the interfaces of this App I m sometimes confused the relations between existing tabs and newly opened tab It can be more concise I ll put more detailed review later after longer usage Please keep up the good work                 I m satisfied but it can be improved further Invincible Roy

This is a great multi panel file explorer It allows for much better and easier file management than finder eliminating the need to open multiple finder windows and the sometimes tedious process of drilling down through the folders to get where you want My only negative comments are that 1 The app title takes up most of the room on my task bar over laying many of my icons The title could have simple been Total Manager without the rest of the text to take up space on the task bar 2 The interface can be a bit tricky to learn I still haven t got it down yet When attempting to open a new column most of the time I click in the wrong place and replace the current column which I want to keep of the screen for comparison Overall I like this app and would recommend it to my friends                 Good Flagman68

It really like this app It can do almost anything I can do in finder plus a lot more It plays a lot of movie formats so I don t need to worry about opening other apps to watch movies Archiving and un archiving is super easy also It is also very good for looking at files Overall it s a great app I give it 5 stars                     Love it Jcole0
