I really thought this app had a great future but now I am not so sure It no longer works on A5 processors Tested on an iPad mini and iPad 2 iOS 9 3 1 On both Touchedit opened and crashed immediately Deleted and download again same result I ll test it one more time when I upgrade to iPad mini4 or iPad Pro 9 7 But I am not holding out much hope due to infrequent updates no obvious user community and and no social media activity by the developer         Loved it but Mountainstudio

Stay away from this There hasn t been an update since he beginning of the year and it clearly doesn t work with iOS 8 The developer has clearly abandoned this project iTunes sharing does not work at all so the only way to import media while maintaining metadata is via Dropbox So if you have a larger project be prepared to shell out money to get a larger Dropbox account I ve emailed the developer for support and of course no response and I ve posted in the forum and no response either Terrible terrible     DO NOT PURCHASE Cnnnncubu

Save your money on this app You can get the same features plus a few others using another video editing program I ve also tried and am very happy with called Pinnacle Studio For a fraction of the price of this app you can get another that works great and isn t insanely expensive for a fairly bare bones editing program         Waaaay too expensive for what it does MerlinFL

I purchased this app about a year ago and had no trouble with it I upgraded to ISO 7 and I can no longer get it to work What am I missing I tried dumping the app and downloading it a couple times no difference First of all there s no audio on the tutorial included in the app It s not my iPad Audio works on all of the applications I can t seem to import video files from my photo library into a project I know these files are good because I use them on previous projects in the app on ISO 6 I went back and watched your tutorials and try to figure out what I was doing wrong But the new workflow doesn t seem to match the new app Please help See my original review below I just Started using this application so if I m impressed but I ve run into a few problems The major one I can t get the grease pencil to work I wish there were multiple tracks of video I d like to see text for titling A wireframe mode for resizing video would be awesome                 ISO seven no longer working Badmaxxx

I am a professional video editor At first I loved the idea of editing on my ipad and then finishing in FCP However this program crashes Plus it looks great but is miss some of the very basics of video editing A simple dissolve would be great Or an interface that works more like a modern edit program The flatbed looks nice but it eats up too much ram ram that is needed for editing     Can I have my money back Pittsburgh Damian

Admittedly a beginner at iPad video editing however skilled at video essentials for laptop editing elsewhere I found this program difficult to use and not intuitive at all Lots of trouble assembling a timeline locating the clips and trimming Then brought the Avid program in frustration and love it A much better choice in my view Wish I could get my money back for this     Clunky disappointing Knockneed

I really like this app I have just about every video editing app for the iPad and this one is my favorite You can see your work so easily you can mark it up you can make edits and go back and do everything that you need to do for basic editing Like the new titles                     Clean and Nice lanefloater

I just bought it for my ipad 4 edited a seqence with ca 10 clips tried to export it to dropbox it hung itself Now it can t play more than 10 sec before the ipad closes down Useless Is there a way to get the money back     Director Lenyalenox

Hello March 13 I am an Academy Award Winner I am a Cinematographer and a Director member of the Directors Guild of America I pretty much only edit on an iPad now cuz after a stroke I only got the fingers on my left hand that move enough to poke around and gesture on an iPad I am delighted iPad video edit apps are here I like em all TouchEdit works fine it s got TimeCode and can work with Final Cut Pro X So I can get the cuts done and send my TouchEdit work to the FCP gal to finish up just as she likes I am back in business boys and girls cuz I got an iPad and TouchEdit JOHN LONGENECKER DGA                     iPad Video Editing with TouchEdit JOHN LONGENECKER

I learned film editing in the 70s working on school projects repairing the old classroom 16MM training films Look through the eyepiece find 1 frame before the bad frames mark with grease pencil move to 2 frames after bad frames mark with grease pencil lift film and move to slice and splice block lock in point cut on frame division slide film forward to out point slice match edges and sprocket holes tape flip tape to the tape edge slicer back on viewer check splice sprocket alignment rewind NEXT This is exactly what you get with Touch Edit So natural and understandable And the presentation is beautiful Even if you just buy this for the experience you ll end up liking the old school workflow                     Old school razor blade editing in a digital format tolistim

You don t get it do you Is not about just being frame accurate or having 8 channels of audio You have no transitions that I can see no window in window titles none to speak of and forget about good old ken burns effect I ve been editing for over for over 20 years with an Emmy award under my belt and this program is not good at all and you re charging 49 99 It s not even worth 24 99 that I got it for This should be a 4 99 software and if you don t change soon you will fail Add the basics for crying out loud I m so mad I was excited about this app and its an epic fail Add titles transitions ken burns effect wipes I wouldn t even suggest this program to my editors at the tv station I work for they would laugh at my face I m going to ask apple for my money back Pinnacle studio and iMovie are way leaps better than this crap     You re still at alpha version better iMovie than this Charlie710

This app is definitely a 1 0 release but there s so much value in it that it makes sense to get it now learn it and be ready for the next release It s frame accurate It really is No more editing approximately The frame I choose to cut on it the actual frame it shows me in the edit I can get in and out to FCP and Avid haven t tried this yet but I m not that familiar with Resolve and need to learn it I expect to use it for first cuts and editing on the go It s definitely positioned to beat iMovie in the long run                     Fantastic Start schnittman
