This is the only program I ve found so far that is able to convert modern images like PNG files into TIF files that convert to LBM or PCX properly using Deluxe Paint II s convert exe I have to jump through a few hoops but I can pull any file online and convert it into something that opens in Deluxe Paint II with help from this app None of the other image conversion programs I tried Preview xnview would export files that convert exe could work with so major props to the author for his implementation I would pay for this                     Deluxe Paint II Nathan Smetana

I discovered that this is the second program that I ve used by T Ogihara Prior to the existence of the App Store I had download and used his IcoMaker app for Mac I still have this app installed on my MacBook today 7 years and two MacBooks later This is just an example of the staying power of T Ogihara s applications ToyViewer is no different in its utility and staying power It does exactly what it says it does and is a solid application I was pleased to see that two niche programs that I have been happy with just happen to be made by the same person Very nice Thanks for providing solid and useful apps                     Another solid app from T Ogihara JeffG64

I use it mostly to see animated gifs and the like moving fast or slow through the movie viewing one frame at a time zooming etc I havent used the editing features I am impressed at how robust it is                     Very effective Vz9100

I too find the review on Jul 15 for version 5 4 0 laughable This is a great free program I downloaded it to view PNM files which OS X doesn t natively open This is a much quicker whole folder viewer than ImageMagick Gimp etc It s like Preview but better with its video feature to play the image files in the folder at an interval that I get to set Just what I needed                     Does what I wanted it to do nice features majesty z

This is a great little app that I have been using for years and it remains my go to app for small image editing and conversion jobs It s not fancy but it is fast and nimble once you get used to the fact that it was designed for NeXT OpenStep before OS X and uses a slightly different user interaction paradigm as a result                     great little app wylieprof

A GIF files viewer MUST manipulate animated GIF files to be legitimate In addition it MUST handle GIF files that contain music Everyone knows that RIGHT Moreover this app crashed as I tried to find info in its help file s BTW this is the first app I ve seen with NO VIEW PULLDOWN I will delete this app from my machine and look for better     Actually AcuteWatcher

What s not to like It s free fun doesn t take up much space and I made a pretty cool wallpaper with it in less than 5 minutes It s a little a tricky at first but don t let that discourage you because it s easy to use after a few minutes You also don t need an undo option because it layers the effect in different windows in progresssion to one another for comparing and contrasting So if you don t like the most recent edit all you have to do is click on the red x located in the upper left corner where it should be and try again And did I say this app is free                     This is a pretty cool app And it s free SpearWieldingOctopus

Great for playing around with images quickly Instead of utilizing live preview or undo it generates a new picture each time you modify the image in any way which can feel odd at first but really encourages experimentation It s extremely easy to do side by side comparisons of tweaks Don t like the filter effect you just applied Close the new window command w works fine to get your undo This have to start over chatter is rubbish                     Terrific lil application Aetnaria

If you ve tried opening images by going to FILE OPEN and it hasn t work try dragging your image from your finder to the app on the dock That worked for me There s no undo button which is a pain the alternative is that it creates a new window layer every time you edit something                 solution to opening images sarah_kim

I m novice user of photo editing which Aparture is more than what I need But this software is awsome and the best part is every change you do it creates a layer similar to photoshop in photoshop is done manually So the original photo is not effected For me the UI is much more user friendly than Aparture tried the trial version It does alot more than iPhoto which I wish it was part of iPhoto and its free                     Great tool Viguen
