Me and my buddy were out hunting wild hogs on 1800 arces of wildlife land We got turn around and was going on circles It quickly became dark This app is how we found our way back to the truck Great app found our excact location so we could find our way out and didnt have to sleep in the woods Highly recommend this app Saved us

The only thing I do like about this app is their subscription is monthly as well as yearly onx maps are only yearly The maps or limited The topo is the old style The layers can only be one at a time Offline maps are really hard to add you need to connect it to the computer There is mention of Trimble getting private land maps but there is only a public land map layer I dont think I will ever use it for hunting I will be using onx hunting map Not that great
Great app If you buy the state information along with the elite subscription it real allows you to do your homework and see it all while your in the field You can plot your course at home and stay on it in the field Simpler to use then other apps Allows you to download upgraded images and topos of game units is huge Highly recommend This app allows you to be way more effective then a standard overpriced GPS I have tested it in multiple western states deep in wilderness Ive even had this running on my phone and using my garmin My garmin couldnt locate satellite but my phone and this app worked flawlessly Made my hunting buddy dump his garmin and use his iPhone and this app Game changer
Hi Kirk here at NCHoundonarope We like this app very useful in the Deer Recovery field Blood Tracking Tool
Topo is nice but if you want any other maps for over lay Get prepared to pay Okay but have to pay for goodies
I use it mostly for the Ballistics charts Its a good quick reference to compare different rounds Sometimes it crashes but fires right back up no problems I havent taken full advantage of the GPS portion since i have other apps that I habitually use Gret app

Just tried the blood trail and it was way off I had to back track my steps because the rain washed some of the blood away so I went to my last blood marker only for the app to put me in a completely different direction than where I marked the last known spot Way off
I didnt think it would work that well until me and a couple of friends went into the woods for hunting We went so deep into the woods we forgot how to get back home so we looked onto the app and it was tracking every move we made Even without wifi We just followed the gps and we were back home And you can also mark trails so that you can find them again Best app yet even if it is the free version Worked perfect

I use this app every time I go in the woods I mark rubs scrapes and any other significant deer sign on the map to watch for patterns and plan stand locations I recently took a trip to Illinois and this app worked great I used it to map recon the public hunting land to mark key areas during scouting mark stands and to set tracks to my stand to traveling would be easy in the mornings and at night without using thumb tacks Best mapping and hunting app yet Great Hunting App

Dont pay for the upgrade Monumental process to get outdated topo maps downloaded onto your device The simple free version is ok which made me think the upgrade would be worthwhile Waste of money

This app is very good Just need a couple of things Like when you are going to a waypoint it should auto rotate the map or something so that you know which direction is what Also when emailing maps it should have some more export options Because I like to fully customize the map or fine tune it while on the computer Extra options

The only reason I have this is for the maps After the last update they dont even show up Kind of takes the GPS aspect out of it Before the maps quit working this was the best hunting app for research Now I have all kinds of data gone going back to actual maps and a compass those never failed Where did the Map go
