The launcher seems to be broken The game ran on my MBP s screen but when connected to an external display in clamshell mode I m not able to change the resolution the three dropdowns on the first launcher screen aren t usable I can uncheck fullscreen but it doesn t do me any good Jack     Broken launcher Basementjack

I purchased this for 0 99 cents on sale and for a buck so who can really complain The game is fun and challenging but not too difficult I enjoyed the concept The graphics are fantastic In all it was an enjoyable experience but for full price at ten bucks i d have to say this game is way too short I was able to finish it in a day and it left me wanting more I dont think i ll buy part 2 at full price especially if it is comparable to part 1 Something I dont understand why are there no boss fights Even at the end you fight a skeletal dude that tries to trick you up by tossing ethereal garbage at you all stuff you ve seen before but in red Spoiler alert you dont get to kill him why not             Pretty good game but really short CrudOfCrow

The game is visually nice but not terribly intellectually stimulating You have three characters who move through various rather similar environments It s a good diversion but the main problem is that you need to totally complete a level in order for your progress to be saved If you don t you end up repeating the same areas So if you want to play for a short time you can t save your progress It gets tiresome to keep repeating the same section             Nice graphics but repetitive Cvbhj

I just bought a mac mini and so far some of the games here make that most of the games here plays good on my mac mini with its basic spec But this game is just solid The graphics is amazing control is fluid and almost zero lag Highly recommended And nice story telling too Kudos to the developers Im buying Trine 2 right now                     What a beautiful game this is johntravis

This game can capture your attention for hours even after beating the game you can go back in each level and find experience and treasures that you missed the first time The graphics are outstanding and the music is good I appreciate the linear concept of the game It did take me a while to get used to the keyboard and mouse but I did get it down and was able to beat the game Liked it so much I bought the second version as well and thoroughly enjoyed it as well beating it in about the same time it took to master this version                     Hours of enjoyment Bear69pi

Only part of the gaming screen shows on the new Mac book Pro s making playing the game impossible I wrote support and they answered me of fixing the game enough to play but in low resolution and low quality graphics This game would be rated a 5 star rating if it weren t for this issue Here is the fix incase you experience the same issues given to me by them For Trine 1 we don t yet have an update so the only way to play that is to use a lower resolution like 1280x720 I think that works or choose to use the Intel integrated graphics card To do that disable automatic graphics card switching in the energy saving preferences Hopefully they will fix this issue soon meanwhile I don t recommend the game to people with newer Retina displays         Graphics Issues with the Newer Retina displays on Macbook Pro ThoughtISawAPittyCat

This game is definitely 4 stars at 10 I would be 5 stars at less than 10 and 3 stars over 20 The storyline and graphics are really top notch No complaints The gameplay is smooth and I never encountered a bug really well designed The reason this game does not get 5 stars is because it is a linear progression game the characters can only move down one path think pitfall or mario If they had made that really clear up front I would have been expecting it and would have loved it for what it is but I expected more diversity All in all Its a great game at a great price                 A solid game with gorgeous graphics for 10 Sean from GA

First the good 1 Pretty environment 2 Good music 3 Skeletons die if they touch the water I LOVE this and it s one of my favorite parts of the game First sidescroller I ve seen where the enemies die if they touch the water but you can swim around as much as you want Wonderful D 4 Scene changes are very nice crisp and clean entering or leaving a cave into the outside world for example and have lots of variety And that s really it Everything else is either not that creative or is just flat out bad Here s the bad 1 The freaking BATS Anybody who plays should know what I mean The bats are not fun at all and are extremely annoying 2 Enemy difficulty For some reason the bats are by far the most difficult enemy to face The skeletons would be second and the big troll thing with the crystal back is by far the easiest enemy to face Uhhhh hello The biggest baddest enemies should be the hardest Not bats 3 Story isn t bad but it isn t great either 4 The puzzles are pretty easy to figure out I understand it s not a pure puzzle game sort of a hybrid between a fighting sidescroller and a puzzler but I believe the puzzles could be tougher the longest I ve spent on any puzzling moments is like 15 seconds and when you have a character like the wizard all he can do is make boxes and build bridges Worthless in fighting I think the puzzles should be better 5 Xbox controller connection is HORRIBLE Please improve your controller default settings 6 The enemies glitch a lot I ve found I ve gottan hit by an enemy when the enemy s animation stayed standing didn t swing his sword or anything This has happened on multiple occasions 7 The enemy melee guys seem to have longer range than they should This is probably a peronal opinion but it feels like they should be much closer to me before they can swing and attack 8 Very little variety of enemies Everything is either bats or skeletons with the occassional crystal troll thing The game tends to start feeling very repetitive with slight differences now you can cast TWO bridges at once Glad to see others are having better experiences than I am however             Not that great scooterD3

Trine is a solidly entertaining game that is well worth its current price tag in my opinion Pros Fantastic visuals Fun fantasy ambiance Puzzle sections are fun and challenging Cons The game started to feel a bit one dimensional after a while The story is a bit ho hum both in concept and execution Keyboard and mouse controls can be tricky to learn and frustrating to use I ended up using a USB controller and had no issues                 Fun game good value Punchwalk
