This is a good app for those who are Turkish and are learning English English words are pronounced However forget about hearing the native speakers say the Turkish words This app is mainly one sided but it doesnt have to be if there is a good update Additionally for the price the developer may want to add some photos to reinforce some words           1 way translations

Just bought this app for 25 and then found out it only had English Audio pronunciation and not Turkish I would not have bought it if this was noted in the description           Only English Audio

This is a nice dictionary based on the REDHOUSE Sözlüğü from which some good English material has been imported however there are a few problems which can be fixed 1 There are errors in formatting for example in the current version there are various terms tagged with i slang but in the 7th definition in Section II for the word yemek the term islang is found run together and not formatted in red like all other occurrences Of course this is minor but is typical of formatting typos 2 The dictionary is decidedly for Turkish speakers looking up English definitions Looking up definitions in Türkçe yields a plethora of English information conjugations etc but looking up English words usually only yields the Türkçe equivalent word with no additional definitions conjugations etc Looking up the word go in English yields well over 100 definitions and usage examples in Turkish on the other hand looking up the Türkçe equivalent gitmek yields only around 35 English definitions This is a favorable example the ratio between Turkish and English word definitions and usages is much worse for many other words RECOMMENDATION balance the definitions between the two languages and more importantly include reference information for Turkish words forms tenses etc as exists for the English words           Very Turkcentric and needs some error correction

This dictionary has everything Its great One problem I have found is that when the iPods screen is automatically turned off while using the app the word that is currently saved in the iPods copypaste memory will be searched for when the iPod is turned back on thus making you have to go back to the word you were on andor to the language side you were working with              Great dictionary
