From the makers of other successful fitness programs, Hundred Pushups and Two Hundred Situps comes: Twenty Chinups. If you`re serious about improving your upper body strength, follow this six week program and you`ll soon be on ...
App needs a good deal of polishing but it does produce results Thkiihgddvhj
Please update and keep current with 100 Pushups and 200 situps Update
Program is crap It gives you the same program regardless of how many you can initially do If I can already do 12 why would my first day have me do no more than 2 reps per set Save your money
Good motivation Great
Cant press the enter button when I do the initial test number in configuration Broken
Honestly I dont get why people want an update so bad Starting at being able to do only 5 I am now up to 18 on week 5 This app does what it says it does and an update wont help that Great
I have all 4 apps push ups chin ups sit ups and squats Theyre all great minus one nasty little feature the shake to zero Just moving the phone resets the timer to zero and theres no option to disable it There is a dedicated option to disable a onceperuse spinning icon though which is totally useless Shake to Zero
Good God man where is it UPDATE
I could do 16 dead hang pullups from the startand went to the last workoutwk6day3 and was easily able to finish the workout and able to morei simply ask for more weeksdays Not challenging
When I started I could do 4 chinups and now I can do at least 15 It is a great app Worked for me
Not sure whether last set is max or not The app doesnt do much so instructions shoulnt be hard write Needs Instructions
I love these apps but make the good form check like the one for the pushups Good form picture
Simply doesnt work on the iPhone 4 Very crash happy Horrible
Please update Will be good after the update
the good form chin up definintion needs to be corrected pullups have palms facing out and chinups have palms facing the body the graphic showing a chinup is also weak and confusing I entered 14 in inital test value and it starts me out doing 2 chinups and then 2 more after resting a minute I then entered 20 for the inital test and it doent change the work regimen not really a program at all weak
All the bad reviews for this app are accurate I have emailed the developer twice and he advised that all problems will be fixed in the new version But he also said he was submitting the new version in November to Apple which I guess did not happen because when I wrote to him again in December he said he was submitting over Xmas for the first time Do not buy this app until the new version comes out and you see good reviews on it The developer also told me that the new version will not cost anything to upgrade if you have the old crap version that is currently available So far I see no reason to trust him that will happen No update yet bad app in present version
The description of a good form chinup actually describes a pullup It then goes on to advise you not to confuse the two Seems the app developer is confused about which is which Also support URL is a broken link Some flaws
I like the app and have used it for a long time but updating my iPhone to ISO 7 this app will not sync with the calendar on my phone I did send an email to SoftwareX concerning this problem but I have yet to receive a reply which is somewhat annoying to say the least Torch1
Needs an update which was promised how long ago Wheres the Update
With a few changes this App could really be great Like others have mentioned instruction are confusing Also I was not warned at the beginning of week 5 that I would be taking a max and it messed up my workout Also as others have said you start out at the same level regardless of how many reps you do during the initial test so i started the program on week 3 I have one more week to go on the program and I can do 14 reps max I did 12 on the initial test Not sure Ill make it There needs to be a customized 6 week program for different levels to get everyone to 20 reps This App could be really good
I love all the apps Great
This is a easy and convenient way to improve your chins I would like to see updates similar to the ones for 100 pushups 200 situps The ability to change the completed reps chart workouts would be great Great app
Not a bad app but not nearly as good as the rest of this developers stuff like 100 pushups This feels clunky has inconsistent spelling etc I bought this believing an update was indeed imminent as claimed but its been months without an update so either this dev just doesnt know what imminent means or doesnt tell the truth Its disappointing because the other apps really are very good Updated review the app is now caught up with the rest of the developers offerings yes its essentially the same but its great this update should address the majority of the earlier complaints Its here
Hey guys I think you phoned this one in Youre defenition of a good form chin up vs pull up is confusing both say palms out I could draw a better picture of a guy doing a chin up with a pen in my teeth No updates for weeks Please at least bring it up to par with your other programs Needs work
You might want to change the graph function for 20 Chinups to read Total Chinups Over Time instead of Total Squats Over Time Good App to Work With But
I bought this app a couple months ago after reading that it was on sale because there would be an imminant release of an update Well Where is it They still are claiming that now and at this point I dont beleive them Where is the update
Needs higher levels Ok
I love most of these apps I think there are a few details that need to be fixed in this app 1 The graph doesnt have any axis labels to show the day or number of reps 2 The app doesnt keep track of your max test results for future review Id like to be able to review the max and maybe see it plotted in the graph 3 The pullup workout seems too easy at least in the first couple of weeks The workouts in the other apps pushups and Situps have you pushing close to and beyond your starting max in the second and last sets by the end of the week Good but needs some work
I was on week four after the last update the app doesnt work Ill have to start over with a different app I will never trust this developer again Updated Fixed but this is the last time I update software from this dev Changed from one to three stars Update breaks app
Way too ambitious I started this program being able to do 10 chinups and I cant get passed week 5 20 chin ups
Its a nice simple app that gets the job done The music controller is a nice addition No need to swap apps to change the tunes Simple
It starts off pretty slow Sets of 1 or 2 When I got to week 3 it started to kick into gear But then I got an upgrade and now the app crashes whenever I try to launch the daily program Too bad it was just starting to get good 20 chin ups
Now I just bought this but after using the other two apps that this company has made 100 pushups and 200 situps theyve given great results so Id imagine this will too Great job app developer Great app
Worked ok for a while the time of rest is too long and no way to shorten it like the other progression apps like 100 pushups Now it seems to crash when I go to todays workout Needs a little more attention Decent app
So far its my favorite of the 4 programs Ive raised my initial test of 3 to ten in 4 weeks Good
Used to be a great app but the newest version is very buggy and keeps freezing then shutting down the app I have gotten all the updates but it just doesnt work Please update
This program as well as the other 2 they have are great apps Its like having a personal trainer pushing you as you are working out You do the initial test to see how many you can do and then it tells you how many to do then you push the button when done and it gives you a rest period and does the next set The simplicity of it what makes it excel above all the others I have bought I hope you guys keep the apps coming and maybe come out with some for weight lifting like Curls Leg lifts etc This is exactly what I was looking for again Good job Excellent App
Reading the definition of a chin up would be extremely confusing to a newbie It defines a pullup and then says dont confuse a chinup for a pullup which is what we just defined as a chinup Also the poor drawing makes it more confusing I like the example for the 100pushups cant you make it like that The program needs to be more challenging no matter what your max is you always start doing 22111 Lame Fix it
Like most other people said there are no levels in this app It doesnt really matter how many reps u are innitially doing u still be on the same program Than max reps checks every two weeks have no sense I started with 7 and now Im doing 12 and on the 4th week I should just choose that Im doing more than 4 Thats just stupid Not good at all
I like the app a lot but i would like to see an update where you can change the amount of reps and they will stay permantly changed even when you start the entire program over This would help me see how Ive improved since i started using this app since i started out doing more than 20 chinups anyway Great Potential
In the past I was able to log extra reps But since the update that feature is gone No logging for extra reps
When is this going to get the treatment of all the other Software X classics and get the sleek new update Good appNeeds an update
Needs update bad Crummy right now Very clunky
