I 100 agree with a previous review by philbutrin What dictionary does this game use Its definitely not SOWPODS or TWL I have used valid words and I certainly dont like being penalized for words that I use that are by SOWPODS standards Plus I am a skilled player but geez the computer seems to be in super brain mode or something I have a very extensive vocabulary and am well read but dial down the computer challenge levels or have an option Im not saying to dumb the game down but have some levels as options Easy intermediate and difficult The computer in this game seems to be in the difficult plus 1000 category I play very well and have won my share of games when playing against the computer on the Scrabble app as well as Words with Friends Also yes I understand its free but is it necessary to have ads pop up every few moves Once is enough when you first open the app Its okay for a free game
there are a lot of things i really like about this game and id recommend that friends check it out but there are some ways i think it could be better a id like to know what dictionary the game uses it doesnt appear to be SOWPODS TWL or ENABLE so its been hard to know which plays are valid b because i dont know the dictionary i frequently end up being penalized for challenges to words that work in all of the other word game apps i play thats really frustrating and im afraid it may stop me from playing the game c my fingers are large enough that ive sometimes hit the challenge button when i meant to hit the swap letters button as a result i initiate a failed challenge by accident and i lose points would be nice to have a are you sure you want to challenge confirmation screen d id like to be able to rearrange the tiles in my hand e id like the option for a computerized opponent of a lower skill level its not fun to lose by a mile every time almost really good
The playing board is toos tine and hard to see as compared to Words with Friends which is easy to view I cant get the game to open consistently It isnt working properly The game sounds fun if I could get it to work I dont care for the screen
