Sorry this has too many problems for a beginning Braille student Why does it show a slate and stylus if it is designed to introduce the Braille keys like a braillewriter It would be best if you did allow someone to enter the Braille as if they were using a slate hit a button to flip the cell and then speak the letter they entered with the corresponding dot numbers for confirmation Start with letting the student experiment and then ask them to try specific letters     Problems
This is a really interesting concept I like the idea of someone without vision learning the Braille alphabet on an iPhone A few things that might help move the concept along 1 The instructions that VoiceOver reads at the beginning are not completely accurate When I tried it the dots did not light up and the dot voicing was turned off After playing with it I was able to turn on the dot voicing and the light up feature 2 I wasnt able to submit my answer Not sure why 3 In the no voice mode the sounds are very difficult to distinguish I had a hard time being sure I which dot I was in and which dot was on or off The idea is there but the user interaction needs some work     interesting concept
