Unless I haven t figured out how to search properly in this app the EXTENSIVE and very impressive list of alcohol products that are vegan friendly is incredibly tedious to search I can t stress enough how impressive the list is but it took me five minutes just to get to corona There should be a way to type in a search or at least search via clicking a letter Very tedious to scroll through the list                 Extensive but hard to search CatherinePia

I like to try new things so I spend lots of time standing in the aisles googling whether microbrews and random liquor companies have vegan products I was really excited to save time and data while out shopping Unfortunately I had the same experience as another reviewer When I realized that the vast majority of things I tried to look up were not listed at all I decided to check barnivore itself and found most of the information I was looking for The app is just missing a A LOT of info Save your money and bookmark barnivore     Incomplete KaiBrennan

I was delighted to learn about this app however have looked up three items and the app just sits there goes nowhere and shows me nothing I don t see any sort of enter or search key Only a return key which takes me outside of the app So I tap visit Barnivore and boom find there what I m looking for I thought this app was related in some way to the Barnivore website but apparently it is not Wish I could get my money back     0 for 2 Omgoddess99876

This app is great for the newly vegan ized individual who wants to know if they can still maintain that alcoholic lifestyle they had before Some of the searches are a little sketchy in my opinion I used to LOVE Asahi and Sapporo beers from when I lived in Japan But I am skeptical of the judgement given by the app The responses they have listed from the companies just seem so vague We don t use animal products Okay Can you be a little more specific Not to undermine the intelligence of anyone But I never knew about the different types of animal products in beer until I stopped drinking them If the answer were more specific Then I would feel slightly better about the choices to drink or not Perhaps it s not the apps fault but maybe we need to ask more specific questions when contacting companies Is Isinglass used seems like a pretty specific question Some companies responses such as miller ltd were very specific to answer the question While others were vague Seems easiest to just cut the alcohol out all together BUT if you need the peace of mind that an app tells you it s okay I get that too Cool concept I gave it 4 stars                 Great app in theory Renee_Hart

I love this app Not only is it color coded either red or green and easy to read but when you tap on the name of the item it leads you to the company statements memos and other pertinent info so you can read fully whether or not they use any animal products and if they do which ones Invaluable                     Just what you need when you re on the go Elektrared

The app has extensive data although some is not current For example the La Crema chardonays are listed as vegan on the Barnivore web site the data source for the app However the app shows La Crema wine as not vegan and gives no specific listing for chardonay Secondly the search capability is very limited You can enter keywords but have no way to select categories wine beer types vegan non vegan or set filters region producer         Good data poor search cwrand
