More than simply great Bible study software Verbum is an outstanding resource to learn more about the faith My favorite feature is having many booksdocuments cross referenced and available at my fingertips Balancing a busy life like everyone else and a strong desire to know Jesus better through scripture I dont normally look up references because it takes too much time But with Verbum I can easily access different bible translations commentaries early christian writings as well as church documents Also having everything available crossplatform from the iPad and iPod to the laptop means that notes created on one platform appears on all three The laptop software has much more functionality than the iThings and it is taking some time to learn how to navigate the capabilities but the online tutorials are helpful                 Phenomenal

Just meh Despite the other glowing reviews this is missing at least 3 key references 1 The Catechism of the Catholic Church 2 The NABRE that is used everyday And is not available within the app 3 The RSVCE is only available online and is not part of your library per the app It may be just me but the CCC is a MAJOR part of the Magisterium and its missing from the app The other references are nice to have agreed But this not having the CCC is like going to mass without the Holy Eucharist Deleted           Missing the Catechism etc

The Verbum app is an amazingly powerful tool for Bible study even more so considering the limitations of it being on an iPad I use the desktop version but find myself turning to the IOS version much more often due to the convenience and the fact not much usability is lost between the two versions Highly recommended                 Great app

Other than the fact that it keeps asking me to rate the app it is amazing This is by far the best bible study app out there With the free books they give you it is even better Ive taken the plunge and bought a library with them too and that is phenomenal I cannot say enough good about this company and their products Edit they have recently allowed a scrolling interface in addition to the paged interface and it is wonderful It is now more like reading a webpage or a scroll                 The best bible app

I am still learning the ins and outs of the desktop version but the iPad app has been a fantastic tool for reading highlighting and taking notes on some resources that have been on my reading list for a long long time              Still learning but very satisfied

This is the goto app for anyone looking for an increased faith understanding One can view a bible commentary and the bible verse at the same time via the split window feature Topics can be easily researched via the guide feature This is a great app for comparing what the Catholic bible says with what the commentaries and catechisms say It is fantastic for researching controversial topics It is complicated at first but one catches on to the interface quickly                 Awesome powerful app

A lot of great resources I love reading the many items that go along with the bible to understand my faith more My favorite is the read the bible in one year it breaks it down so it much more understandable and easier to read                 Love it

I became a Protestant at the age of 17 and began to earnestly seek methods of study It wasnt until the ESV was released in 2008 that I came across a decent study bible But in all honesty the only thing the ESV has going for it is the Biblical archeological facts and the translation itself Other than that the commentary is absolutely horrendous and it has disappointed time and time again Over the course of my Protestant journey I have been lead to the Catholic Church and I was hoping to find something to lead me in my studies Thankfully I can across Scott Hahn and his Ignatius Study Bible which in turn lead me to Verbum Verbum allows me to have all of my resources at my fingertips this is handy for a young seminarian seeking to express the truth of the Gospel and the beauty of the Catholic Church to those who reject her or misunderstand her Thank you Verbum for being a software that organizes and places my library in one place                 Superb

Ive used a LOT of bible software in my time but I switched over to Verbum 5 about two years ago I was so impressed with the power and capabilities that I moved to Verbum 6 late last year It is a little pricey but the payment plan helps quite a bit with that I honestly feel that I have moved into the realm of a Bible scholar with Verbum and what price can you put on that I highly recommend it                 I LOVE Verbum

I initially was hesitant in purchasing because of the price but have found that the power of the Verbum is well worth the price It has helped to make my scripture study fuller and it is so efficient to be able to cross reference so easily I am still finding different ways to use this tool Its nice to have so so many books at my fingertips Much easier to look up questions I have about scripture or to jump to scripture when reading of other books Highly recommend                 Amazing resource
