If Vermont wants to stimulate its economy the governor should be giving this app away around the world Its a mouthwatering introduction to one of the most beloved corners of the US not just because of all the opportunities for romance sport and play but for sheer beauty of the photography showing off the states four gorgeous seasons I especially liked the eight foliage routes each synchronized with a calendar of upcoming local events along the way Youd have to spend evening after evening on Google to put this together for yourself and even then you still be stabbing in the dark Theres a surprising amount of useful stuff packed into this little app Outdoor stuff trails skiing rock climbing bicycling boating birdwatching sledding curling snowboarding Entertainment stuff spas eateries inns antiques shopping Stuff for families and kids museums covered bridges maple syrup farms Its even updated with the latest on road conditions in the wake of Hurricane Irene Nicely designed and executed                 Sweet

With fall 2012 starting and family coming from out of state I thought that Id try to find something to do I noticed that everything seemed to show 2011 but I thought maybe if I clicked on one event it might link me to a new 2012 eventwell it didand then wouldnt give me any option to go back to the home page of the app Horrible Last year I loved this app As a born and raised Vermonter I was proud that we finally had an app that would help show tourists and Vermonters who were out of ideas to entertain what great things we have to offer after Irene hit I was hopeful that this app may help bring people back to our beautiful state Without up to date info and ways to get back to the home screen its useless Please update While last year I would have given 5 stars this year I can only give one Id give it 12 if I could only because the app icon is cute     Update and fix

Great allinone resource With text from a travel writer from the Lonely Planet photos maps and a terrific state what more could you want For visitors to Vermont and those of us who live here and explore it like tourists this is a must have With the ability to sort content by distance I maximized my own foliage ride today by slipping over to see the 3 covered bridges in a row I have been by that road numerous times and never knew they were there What a treat                 My favorite app

I acquired the app primarily for its information about the fall foliage I was not disappointed Every detail every description every photo made me more excited than ever to start driving I especially appreciated how for each route the authors included a list of highlights that linked to additional information Add to this the stepbystep details of the route plus events along the way and you have a complete picture of your fall itineraryThe amount of material and the way its presented left me with the sense that I was getting an insiders look into Vermonts magical world of fall colors Indeed you cant miss with such an app and I would highly recommend it to anyone I look forward to when the authors come out with more travel apps its nice to come across information that shows the people who wrote it knew what they were doing                 Like Having a Close Friend Who Lives in Vermont
