Other than NO back button which is really a pain not to have it could use a copy paste both from AND TO the calculator Simple things I wish they d update it 2 stars docked because there has been no updates to improve Other than that it does what the normal calc does             NEEDS a BACK BUTTON like the phone version The Computer version doesn t have it mkbear1

I used the original HP12C and have always loved it This version does a great job of imitating the original hand held It makes the same click sounds as the handheld this adds a lot to the feel of the app In horizontal mode it has the same label as the original down to the release number It s a bit pricey but well worth it to me                     It works exactly like the HP 12C SudokuMaster

The HP 12C remains an amazing financial calculator over the years and the Mac version has all of the great functionality that I use But the Mac version does not respond to copy and paste which would be soooo useful When I m working on a project with numbers and need some calculation I want to be able to copy a number or two paste into the 12C to do some calculations and copy the result back into the document Even the Windows calculator has copy and paste and sometimes that feature alone causes me to go into Parallels to use the Windows calculator Can you add copy paste to an otherwise great app             I wish Copy Paste worked with Mac version of HP 12C app DeacLL

I like this calculator functionality and it works the same as HP 12C and app on iPhone One suggested area for improvement to be able to copy the result into the x register into the clipboard where that result could be pasted into another App such as Excel etc                 At Home with 12C d_canyon

I own the actual calculator and that led me to buy the iPad and iPhone App and eventually the computer version The HP12C is easy to use on the iPad and iMac but if you have an OtterBox Defender Case for your iphone the HP12C key touch can be a pain In other words the extra layer of plastic on top of the screen prevents some keys on the HP12C from responding not every time but frequently enough to be irritating You have to press much harder Overall the HP12C Apps are better than the real thing and I highly reccommend the APP especially the iMac version which I use constantly The amortization capability alone is worth the price DR                     HP12C ipad iphone imac Review Rake111

I originally used the 12 C in 1984 as a new CFP Then it was a rare tool and I used to dazzle bankers by being able to calculate mortgage payments faster than they could The realy amazing feature then was the ability to calculate the tax deductible interest for any given year of a mortgage just as fast Now I have it in my Apple Dock mostly out of nostalgia It is still my calculator of choice almost 30 years later at the ripe old age of 73                     Old Friend LeoBurns

The app would be fine if I could turn off the ANNOYING clicking sound The only way to stop the clicking is by turning my iPhone volume off or down But then I sometimes forget to turn my volume back up for my phone WHY CAN T WE TURN OFF THE VOLUME IN THE APP ITSELF         Annoying clicking sound cannot be turned off kjgrish

In the short time I ve used it I haven t had any calculation errors However the interface is poorly designed to work on a computer The keys are far to large and widely spaced for rapid input and as far as I can tell their is no keyboard shortcuts or a way to input them to make it more efficient nor is their any help whatsoever despite a button and a drop down list that make it seem that there is Final Analysis This application has a lot of potential but is definitely not worth the price until the interface has been redesigned for EFFICIENT use on the platform Until then don t buy Note to Seller I hope that with future updates I can improve my rating and review         It Works in a pinch but don raptor51

This app is extremely slow I have the HP 12c app for the iPhone and it is terrific When you amortize a 30 year loan on this app it takes many seconds while it blinks running for the duration of the computation I have a regular HP 12c and the speed is about the same as this app However the iPhone app is lightening fast When you hit amort on that app for a 30 year loan the answer appears instantly iPhone app worth the cost This app not worth the cost Very disappointed     Disappointed Cycleman13

They ve improved this app since the original release I can report that the app does retain everything in memory even after you ve exited the app completely So they re improving this app but still in my opinion need to do much more to justify the apps price As per my earlier review if when the app improves to justify a 4 or dare I say it a 5 star rating I ll update my review once again jupiter7seven aka Tim             Surprise They ve improved it j7s
