I like to use this app to compress and trim video before I upload to youtube It is handy                     Very convenient app āaaaaaaasss

It reduces the file size nicely but I think it cheats I set framerate to 30 in the settings but the export video is not at 30fps even though it says in its media info         It changes framerate even though I say don t einancunlu

I m compressing and making m4v files with my 3 7 minute videos and it usually takes about 20 minutes or so to finish Offers you several file modes I have not used its editor It s an easy app to use and inexpensive if you re in a hurry The only critique is if only it would let you compress several files at a time rather add files to a queue                     Easy to use Many file choices

Drag my video into the app select the size of my video and or audio with a slider or input select a format submit save and the app resizes my video I ve also notice that during the encoding process all of my CPU cores are being used by the app and goes very quickly One feature that would be a nice addition would be to queue multiple videos                     Easy to use no problems S. Almost could not be simpler you drag the slider for how much compression you want to use and hit the go button bottom right you can even write over the existing file in place Sadly i don t think you can batch videos i want to re compress hundreds of videos taken with my iphone that are way too high of quality You can either drag the slider or type in a size you wish the movie to end up Example i had a 19mb video i put in 9mb it moved the slider for me The program uses all 8 cores and is smoking fast doing the coversion It s incredibly simple to use It has a few flaws that should knock of some stars but i tried to balance the operator error review from earlier where the user didn t understand you have to slide the compression slider to make the video smaller 1 should have a batch mode 2 should show the name of the video being edited 3 should have an option to replace original 4 some basic bad user interface errors like the application name that is a paragraph Video Comprss Pro Compressor Smaller Movie app that s very bad user interface App name is not supposed to be advertisement With it s flaws well worth the 4 it will get my 80GB photos library down to 60 I m betting while in the meantime gettting me to prune many videos i don t need and trim the ones i want to keep Search in the finder in your photos library for quicktime movie type sort by size and reduce your libary by hundreds of mb with little effort many GB with some effort have to do one video at a time                     Does exactly what you d expect andrewwynn

This is exactly what I hoped it would be when I purchased it It s just technical enough to meet highly specified bitrate framerate resolution and format requirements for users like me but not overly time consuming and the interface is simple simple enough for it to be of use to less technical users who simply want to save some space or upload send a video within a certain space requirement Just as advanced as you want it to be and no more but not dumbed down or lacking features A All around I highly reccomend this app to anybody looking to compress big raw video files It s my favorite application of it s kind and definitely worth the four bucks it cost me                     Great Little Applet drop bombs
