Waste of money     Doesnt work

It constantly says its searching for a server and I havent been able to use it ever since I got it like 3 days ago its awful     Searching for server

I took a risk after reading some of the reviews and purchased this app Got the app got the server assigned some folders and thought wow pretty simple So I opened the app and got a connecting to server pop up Then it gave an error Tried again and again and kept getting an error I was so frustrated I even searched online how to get a refund from apple Then I realized I had opened the app before starting the server so maybe it was stuck in a loop of some sort So I closed the app from the multitasking bar and restarted it What do you know it worked flawlessly after that I am now happily watching videos from my computer in any format through this app onto my tv using airplay No more converting This app is worth every penny                 A little scare

Great idea but it only works 50 of the time I have it installed on 2 devices some files will play fine on one device not the other The remote interface randomly works on one device then it will stop working and mysteriously start again on the other It cant recognize the ApplePlay cable on one device about 90 of the time and then it will work again I have to quit all apps quit Videostream a couple times and then sometimes it works Sometimes I have to delete the device from my computer server and readd Sometimes that helps I dont understand why it works and then doesnt work are they constantly pushing updates Really annoying Leave it alone when its working If youre making cosmetic upgrades JUST STOP and get it to work 100 of the time please I am a paid user and Id like to be able to count on the app to work instead of causing me frustration     BUGGY AS HELL

Not sure why everyone is having problems I use this app often and never have an issue The stock video apps Home Sharing is soooo slow to load using the videos app so I always use this app Maybe networking is an issue for some Seemed straightforward I installed the app allowed my ipad to access my selected folders Easy and reliable I just wish the developer would update the app to iOS7              Great app

App only works with MP4 Direct Play and playing MP4 files Evertything else is sound only or not at all     IOS 8 disappointment

I thought the app was just streaming on your iPad to your TV but what it does is stream from your main computer to the iPad so you have to download the server to both your iPad and your main computer and it works fine           Its ok a little misleading

How long does it take to search for it servers Thats all it has been displaying for the last 2 hours You should fix it definitely Rip off     Searching for servers and it wont do nothing

I updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 8 and Video Stream crashes on my iPhone after a few seconds I really miss the functions of this video streaming application duo on my iPhone        I miss it It no longer works on my iPhone 5S under iOS 80X

It seems like the developer gave up on this app obvious bugs not fixed no new releases Whats up Oz man     Buggy flaky and frustrating

Please give the ability to hideturn off conversions as in hide the option to convert or be unable to choose to convert without entering a passcode or only have the ability to do so on specificly set devices Please have the app actually turn off the screen when it is set to do so I have my iPad2 set to turn off the screen after two minutes but when using this app and not watching anything the screen will stay on until it kills the battery              Suggestions

Well i updated to the new version NO SOUND FOR ANY FILES Lots of crashing Reverting to 142 Removed ac3 support for local files so MANY files will no longer play I didnt update and never will so still 5 stars Patent dispute smatent dispute     No sound

If there is one thing that I hate it is a product that does not work from the start This one begins By asking if I would like to view a video about setup so I say yes and the first thing it does is give me an error saying that it cant connect to the server Whichever server they mean and wherever it may be Next I go to help and get the same error leaving me in the middle of nowhere without an oar It may just be that I happened to catch them on a bad day but that doesnt matter They need to go back to marketing 101 class when you have a new product in a competitive market you cant afford bad days because it will always generate responses like this one Hint the little wheel spinning in the error message is a symbol of your money going down the drain     Ridiculous

Wont connect to its own server even after 5 tries My settings are correct I fear I just wasted the three bux for a failed app No options for help either Hugely disappointing I recommend against buying this app     Not working

I have been using airvideo server to stream my videos This app kicks its butt Much better design better features shuffle Cant wait to see more updates                 LOVE IT

I have used this app for over 2 years hence the 2 stars It was a great solution to watching videos on my iphone 4 through my network at home or away Since upgrading to my iPhone 5 its been slow and buggy It crashes or freezes every time I load a video Ive been waiting for an update to the app or server hoping to fix it I got fed up and bought the Plex streaming app to see if it was my network or the app and Plex streams great no crashes or freezing it even loads the meta data for me So now that I know its not my network Im puzzled as to way this app stopped working so well When its working its okay but it can be frustrating when it doesnt work The Plex app is just a few dollars more and to me you get way more than just a video app and the addition of meta data alone is worth the extra dollars to me Sorry guys it was good while it lasted Im out        Not work the money spend a little more and get a better app

Love the app and its interface far better than airvideo and airplayit having used both for some time That said I cannot recommend the app at all until they fix the showstopping bugs Namely audio doesnt work for any transcoding on the latest osx Their forums have multiple complaints about it with no feedback so far on a fix Once thats fixed should be a great app     Best interface and features but showstopping bugs

After over a dozen serverapp tests the extremely simple server and sophisticated app which actually has tap activated FFRewind buttons and very fast response WINS the competition Icon previews auto generate fast within the app instead of get all bogged down on the server side I did have to restart my PC for the server to show up after installation The competition all suffers from either bugs galore that makes features not work or a servers that lock up and require PC restarts Im not kidding BUG the skip to next video button freezes the app or aborts playback altogether QUIRK the view by date button does creation date instead of date modified so newly added files that have old creation dates fail to pop to the top of the list so I must make a folder for them on the PC to be able to find them in the sea of existing files              Hidden Gem

not easy to connect phone with my mac tried all the help tips still cant get the app on my phone to connect to a server I tried auto and manual ways to connect neither worked     not easy to use

This app needs support I havent seen any updates for quite some time If you spend 3 dollars there should be updates to fix the bugs Every so often the application kicks me out of the app so please support this application because I like the interface        Too buggy
